I have been using Heather's for twenty years and found them to be welcoming, efficient, skilled stylists who transform my modest locks into wonderful shape and cheer me up. When my stylist of 5 years left, she ensured I was looked after by another equally skilled stylist. Full marks for Heather's!

Lovely salon, super friendly staff and the best haircut ever. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Without a doubt the best salon in Dorchester.

Having talked with Adam and given him some idea of what I wanted style-wise, I left the details to him and am absolutely thrilled with the result. Best haircut I've ever had (and five weeks on it still looks good). All my friends have commented on how well the style suits me, a number have asked me where I had it done and at least one friend has called in to SGM Hair as a result. I don't live on the doorstep, but will now happily make the 45-mile round trip to Dorchester. A 100% positive experience. Oh, and they serve great coffee, too!

The pride of Dorchester, Akemi Spa is a treat for the mind, body, and soul. Upon entering the spa I was immediately engulfed but the warm vibe. The owner Kelly has an infectious smile that says, “you’re in good hands.” The massages are more than enjoyable, they are a health necessity if rejuvenation, balance, and relaxation are your goals. I highly recommend a day of pampering and self care. Get a mani and pedi! Slump in and prance out, you won’t regret it! Prices are reasonable, service top notch, staff professional, and welcoming. Don’t go to Dorchester without visiting Akemi Spa.

Jayda is an amazing beauty therapist with very good eye for detail! I went to see Jayda Rose for a double session of radiofrequency skin tightening. Her room was warm and cosy, located above Elysian hairdressers on the Dorchester Rd. After 4 years on high dose steroids (40 to 60mgs a day) and despite losing weight, I was left with a considerable amount of excess fatty, loose skin all around my neck, and some on my face. I wasn't expecting much difference. However, the results were amazing and instant. I actually have a chin and a large amount of the excess tissue around my neck and some lines on my face have disappeared after my first session! The procedure was painless and felt like a warm facial. There were no side effects, such as red skin or blotches. Jadya was professional and friendly and has undertaken an extensive amount of training and courses. I would highly recommend jayda👌 ❤️ Update 18th Dec 2024: I have now had a cours of 10 sessions costing £279. The results are astonishing. I didn't even think this was possible. For any doubters I only adopted my rescue Yorkie, Lily in August. So I have not spent a lot of time to achieve the results below. I feel like I'm back to my old self. No needles as I'm on warfarin. Saph is amazing at nails and always makes a stunning job of them. Wax treatments are relatively pain free as she is quick, precise and uses great products. I have been going to Robin James for 12 years because of its quality and consistency. Aveda colours are also very kind to the hair. Joanne has been my hair stylist since she qualified. She really cares about her work and takes pride in doing a really good job. She is talented and thoughtful and fun to spend an hour or two with! I totally recommend her services without reservation.
