I am just back from my 2nd visit for a wax, toes and massage. The first wonderful experience was not a fluke. Beautiful location, nice relaxed vibe and SUPERB massage from Millie. I've been for many massages in many countries, and Millie is up there with the best of them. Treat yourself...

Emily cut my hair and I felt relaxed and comfortable the moment I stepped in. She listened to what I wanted and cut my hair the way I wanted. It’s a cosy and tranquil space. I’ve booked in for another appointment and look forward to using the beauty treatments one day. I recommend checking how to get to the parking area before arriving as this was a bit tricky.

Me and my mum had a fantastic facial. The treatment was brilliant and Faye was really friendly and professional. The facilities were lovely and we both left feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated. Also it was excellent value for money compared to other places, thoroughly recommend.

Fabulous eco and thoughtful salon. It was a real treat to have my hair done by Emily and it's honestly the best cut and blow dry I've had in years. I can't thank you enough and it was such a pleasure to meet the team! I then had a deep tissue massage from Faye which was sublime as were the natural products she used. Janemarie and all the team have been and continue to be amazing, they have looked after me so well, having broken my shoulder it has been impossible to wash my hair and do my nails, so I have been a regular visitor the past 3 weeks, and they have been so generous and caring. Not being from the area, I googled to find a good hairdresser and beautician and I was so lucky to have come upon The Little Sanctuary in Gillingham. Lee cut and colured my blonde hair to perfection, natural looking and perfectly blended with existing colour. The manicure and pedicure were top class, hygenic, very professional and my nails look wonderful. Almost makes me wish I lived here! Thank you.....if I am ever in the area again I will definitely be rebooking

After being let down by my local hairdressers, I needed to find somewhere to get my hair cut. I found a last-minute appointment with Lois at Shaftesbury. All staff that I seamed friendly, Providing a lovely atmosphere. I gave Lois very little input as to what I wanted. The haircut is amazing; I will be booking again when I need my next haircut. Definitely recommended

I booked The little Sanctuary for my bridal hair and make up and I’m so glad I did! The whole experience from the trial to the wedding morning was so lovely! Through all the chaos of flower kids, bridesmaids and parents running around Gill and her team gave us stunning hairstyles and make up. We were all so happy with how our looks turned out. Even after a night of dancing our hair was on point and our make up looked great! Thank you to Gill, Kitty and the rest of the team!

Amber has literally transformed my hair into something amazing. Amber is friendly and made me feel comfortable straight away. I wasn’t sure how short I wanted my hair at first but I am so happy with my cut. Definitely would recommend this hair salon to anyone! :)

I messaged to have my hair done, with in 24 hours I was in the salon for a consultation, that evening all was in place and a few days later my hair was transformed I wanted it done ASAP and it was and saying that! Theresa did my hair on Saturday for a wedding, and I couldn’t have loved it any more! They were so lovely, and totally understood that I didn’t want a super structured look, but something more natural and fun and she completely went beyond anything I had in mind - just amazing talent.

I’ve been going to Meraki for the past couple of years and have always left with dream hair, confidence and a spring in my step. I’ve had styles by Lily, Daisy and Emma and have always been super happy with my hair. I work away but drove 5 hours because I rate this salon this much. Everyone works so hard, even the apprentices and I cannot recommend Meraki enough. Super knowledgeable, full of useful advice on hair care and expert stylists. I've been going to Katie Burrows-Kerr for years now and she always does an amazing job. I love the way I feel when I leave the salon, even if it's just from a simple trim. I had my first salon colour last time (previously always home dyed) and I was so happy with the end result, my hair was so vibrant and shiny as well as being super soft! The atmosphere in the salon is always really friendly. I find going into some salons quite intimidating but everyone at MeraKi is so welcoming.

Can't recommend this place enough. I recently got married and was lucky enough to have Jana do my hair on the morning of the wedding. Her skill is incredible and she created exactly what i'd pictured in my head. She's so friendly and did an incredible job on my maid of honours hair as well! 100% would recommend!!

I have been going to Robin James for 12 years because of its quality and consistency. Aveda colours are also very kind to the hair. Joanne has been my hair stylist since she qualified. She really cares about her work and takes pride in doing a really good job. She is talented and thoughtful and fun to spend an hour or two with! I totally recommend her services without reservation.
