Lovely staff, very friend and sweet. The products I purchased I have used and its made my skin feel very clean and so soft with moisturising. Thank you ladies again I'm booked back for a facial. Vicky really puts a lot of time, care and love into her work. I felt listened to during our consultation chat, and at the same time she shared her own thoughts and expertise on what colours would work best with my fine hair, which I really appreciated. I was really, really happy with the results- my hair looks so much more natural and healthy now, and the cut has made it look much thicker. Her garden salon is a lovely, restful space, and is so well equipped and beautifully taken care of too. Highly recommended 😊 Thanks so much, Vicky!

Amazing service always knows just how to take care of very thick curly hair.

Approaching the half century mark, I have never felt confident about what to do with my hair. Anxiety and depression has made trips to the hairdressers a constant battle, staring at myself in the mirror with a room full of other people, music blaring and constant noise is just not for me. Bending over the bath at home, so the hairdresser can wash the colour out is also an experience I’d rather not repeat. Vicky rescued me in Dec 2022, a simple Facebook post with availability just before Christmas caught my eye after being let down by the dreaded mobile hairdresser! After pinging a message to Vicky, she responded quickly, and instantly put me at ease. She asked me to send a couple of pictures of my current hair and what I wanted to achieve. Having no idea, she guided me through my options. We popped in for the all important patch test, and on meeting Vicky for the first time, I felt like I was catching up with an old friend. Vicky has made The Garden Salon a lovely quiet retreat, gorgeous decor, with the regal resident bission-frisées snuggled in her bed, and Ezra the Main-Coon is definitely the salon’s Prince! Vicky starts every appointment with a full consultation, what do you like?, what don’t you like? and what are you wanting to achieve? She is honest with her advice, and I believe she wants you to feel the very best you can, both after your appointment and at home when maintaining your style yourself. For the last 12 months, Vicky has regularly restyled, cut and coloured both mine and my 3 daughter’s ( all long hair, age 16, 20 and 22) hair. Throw ADHD, ASD, Eczema into the mix too, trips to the hairdresser literally used to make me pull my hair out! Well no more, walking through the gate to the salon brings a sense of calm, knowing I will walk back through a couple of hours later, feeling lighter, happier , and most importantly a little bit better about myself. We all feel incredibly lucky to have Vicky and The Garden Salon and would whole heartedly recommend you to visit. Thank you Vicky, T, H, P & E

Having notoriously bleached my own hair for many many years, my hair was always broken, dry and damaged, I finally took the plunge and went to a professional and my hair has never looked better. Carly took her time talking through the colours, researched to find the perfect toner for me and gave excellent care advice. I think my hair is the longest it’s been now since I was a teenager, and the best condition it’s ever been in. Plus, I always look forward to a relaxing experience, a cup of tea and a good old chin wag!

Carly is absolutely fantastic. From my first enquiry, right through to the initial consultation and the day of application. Nothing was ever too much trouble and happy to answer all my abundance of questions. She was very knowledgeable and patient, explanained everything in clear detail from pre extensions application, colour matching, during the application and aftercare advice. She is very attentive, friendly, professional and all round lovely. The roots salon is a very welcoming and a friendly atmosphere and offered refreshments throughout my appointment. Carly is absolutely amazing, i’ve never felt more confident about my hair! She’s really given me my dream hair. Got my hair cut here by Abi yesterday and all I can say is wow. The salon is such a nice welcoming space, very clean with lovely details and lots of natural light. Abi spent the most time on a consultation of any hair professional I've ever met and as a result my hair is EXACTLY how I wanted it to look. I've left salons before feeling like the stylist just did what they wanted - this was the opposite. Abi checked in with me throughout and explained what steps she was taking and why. It felt like a process I was a part of and I left the salon feeling confident - and got compliments on my hair when I went out last night! Will definitely be getting my hair cut here in future. The huge glass windows offer picturesque views which immediately set a serene tone, complemented by the relaxing head, neck, and shoulder massage after being seated. Every aspect of the experience is thoughtfully curated, from the calming scent of essential oils that greets you at the door to the beautiful décor and earth-conscious hair products. Abi provided the most detailed consultation I’ve ever experienced! It’s rare to find a stylist who truly listens and offers thoughtful suggestions. She completely understood what I wanted and did an exceptional job cutting and styling my hair. It's such a relief to find someone to work with my hair texture, rather than against it! This place is truly a gem. I can't wait to return for another luxurious experience!

Lisa, I just wanted to say how wonderful it was to have you and your team as such a big part of our wedding day. You, Jade and Lottie did such an amazing job making all of the women of the wedding look just fab! I LOVED my bridal hair, and every single one of my bridesmaids and family members loved their hair (and hand massages as well!) had such a wonderful experience on the day with you and Jade. I also can't say enough about how much I loved coming to your studio the day before the wedding for my trial. It was a wonderful space and I felt like I was at my own spa day with the delicious coffee and biscuit and luxuriousness of the space. I truly wish I could get married again just to work with you all again! Wishing you all the success you deserve in 2023 and beyond!

JAPANESE HAIR SPA ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Today I tried something new, Deva's new Japanese Hair Spa, and it was the most incredible experience. Sally was very knowledgeable and I felt relaxed instantly. The treatment inc. an anti aging facial and massage plus my hair and scalp have never felt so clean but norished at the same time. Would 100% recommend this new treatment. I felt the salon feeling like I was floating ☁️☁️

Sally is an incredible stylist and wonderful person. I love how she colours and cuts my hair. I also took my 6 year old granddaughter (who has thick wavy hair) for a proper salon experience. Sally treated her like a princess and listened to what she wanted. Wow, her hair was transformed, my granddaughter was left feeling on top of the world and is so excited to show everyone her beautiful hair.

My third visit to Deva’s. Relaxing and attractive setting. The proprietor is friendly and welcoming and most importantly a very skilled hairdresser. Reasonable prices. You get what you pay for and highly recommend them
