“Haircut for 2 wriggly little boys. Gemma did fantastic job, she was talking to the boys, they were sitting still while she worked. Whole process took 10 minutes per boy. I experienced that in every barber shop in Shaftesbury, the barbers were cutting at much slower pace, children were getting restless and barbers were impatient - didn't feel welcome in any of the barber shops. In Over the Top, we felt welcome and while one son was getting a haircut, the other son was playing with Arthur the dog ;) We will definitely return. Thank you”

“I recently took my 3 year old daughter here for her first trim of her slow growing curly locks. I also had my 6 year son in tow. It was just before Christmas so the salon was very busy. We arrived just in the nick of time and were made very welcome. Although it was crowded, space was quickly made for us to get seated and Kate was attended to with professionalism and care. My son can be a little energetic at times and did wander down the salon a couple of times to be rapidly called back by me. At no time did I feel that there was any negative feedback from that by the staff. In fact the children were offered a sweet as a treat and the staff enaged with them when they could particularly Natalie the owner. Kate left feeling very happy. While I was sat there, I was able to observe the quality of the work that the team were creating for the clients of all ages. I would highly recommend and look forward to taking Kate along in future.”
