Can't recommend this place enough. I recently got married and was lucky enough to have Jana do my hair on the morning of the wedding. Her skill is incredible and she created exactly what i'd pictured in my head. She's so friendly and did an incredible job on my maid of honours hair as well! 100% would recommend!!

I’ve been going to Meraki for the past couple of years and have always left with dream hair, confidence and a spring in my step. I’ve had styles by Lily, Daisy and Emma and have always been super happy with my hair. I work away but drove 5 hours because I rate this salon this much. Everyone works so hard, even the apprentices and I cannot recommend Meraki enough. Super knowledgeable, full of useful advice on hair care and expert stylists. Thank you for making me feel like a princess with great hair!

I've been going to Katie Burrows-Kerr for years now and she always does an amazing job. I love the way I feel when I leave the salon, even if it's just from a simple trim. I had my first salon colour last time (previously always home dyed) and I was so happy with the end result, my hair was so vibrant and shiny as well as being super soft! The atmosphere in the salon is always really friendly. I find going into some salons quite intimidating but everyone at MeraKi is so welcoming.

Beth did an amazing job with the Olaplex Stand Alone Treatment! My hair feels incredibly soft and healthy. My curls feel so light and bouncy. The results were sooo good, and I couldn't be happier!! I highly recommend Beth for all your hair wants/needs. Shes super knowledgeable and really friendly. Beth talked me through the whole process and explained all the benefits of the treatment. Can’t wait for my next treatment!

I went into Profile to see Beth for a long overdue cut and colour on my hair. I have really long, thick hair and it’s impossible to wear down around my 3 children so it’s often up in a bun or a ponytail which has ruined it. Beth has absolutely brought it back to life. Her hand painting balayage skills are second to none, I’ve never seen anything like it! She takes HUGE pride in her work, and her technique is amazing. You can really see how much she loves her work. Beautiful salon, very warm and welcoming and coffee on tap is a bonus for a tired mama. I walked out of there refreshed, with luscious and healthy hair and I could not be happier. I love Heidi from Bee stylish, she always does my hair amazingly, I'm always well looked after, she is extremely polite, she did my wedding hair last year and it was lovely it lasted all day, considering we played rounders aswell as being on a bouncy castle

I have been a client at Over The Top for many years now. They are by far the best hair salon in the area. The team are warm, welcoming and incredible at what they do. The salon itself has a lovely atmosphere, I am always listened to and given great advise by my stylist.

Haircut for 2 wriggly little boys. Gemma did fantastic job, she was talking to the boys, they were sitting still while she worked. Whole process took 10 minutes per boy. I experienced that in every barber shop in Shaftesbury, the barbers were cutting at much slower pace, children were getting restless and barbers were impatient - didn't feel welcome in any of the barber shops. In Over the Top, we felt welcome and while one son was getting a haircut, the other son was playing with Arthur the dog ;) We will definitely return. Thank you

It’s always a pleasure visiting Coleese and there’s no other salon I’d rather go to. All the staff are so friendly and attentive - they ensure I never leave unhappy with a service. Today the wonderful Madi did my hair. I’ve seen Madi at the salon during a lot of her training and it’s so lovely seeing her progress. She did an excellent job with my colour and styled it beautifully afterwards - I couldn’t be happier with the result!

Not being from the area, I googled to find a good hairdresser and beautician and I was so lucky to have come upon The Little Sanctuary in Gillingham. Lee cut and colured my blonde hair to perfection, natural looking and perfectly blended with existing colour. The manicure and pedicure were top class, hygenic, very professional and my nails look wonderful. Almost makes me wish I lived here! Thank you.....if I am ever in the area again I will definitely be rebooking

After being let down by my local hairdressers, I needed to find somewhere to get my hair cut. I found a last-minute appointment with Lois at Shaftesbury. All staff that I seamed friendly, Providing a lovely atmosphere. I gave Lois very little input as to what I wanted. The haircut is amazing; I will be booking again when I need my next haircut. Had a lovely hair cut today with Nadine. I didn't know what to do with my hair, but thanks to Nadine's knowledge I walked out with my hair looking much more healthy and with more volume! I also had a lovely head, neck and shoulder massage which was a really nice touch. Already booked back in for January! Today was my first visit to Beautifully Gorgeous and it certainly won’t be my last. Claire was so lovely and welcoming and did an absolutely cracking job on my nails. Since my usual salon closed down I’ve had a couple of poor experiences and feel so happy to have found this salon and such a lovely beauty therapist in Claire. Can’t wait to go back!

I recently took my 3 year old daughter here for her first trim of her slow growing curly locks. I also had my 6 year son in tow. It was just before Christmas so the salon was very busy. We arrived just in the nick of time and were made very welcome. Although it was crowded, space was quickly made for us to get seated and Kate was attended to with professionalism and care. My son can be a little energetic at times and did wander down the salon a couple of times to be rapidly called back by me. At no time did I feel that there was any negative feedback from that by the staff. In fact the children were offered a sweet as a treat and the staff enaged with them when they could particularly Natalie the owner. Kate left feeling very happy. While I was sat there, I was able to observe the quality of the work that the team were creating for the clients of all ages. I would highly recommend and look forward to taking Kate along in future.

I have been going to Lorraine for over 2 years now, and I absolutely wouldn’t go anywhere else. She is extremely professional and always strives to improve her services by keeping up to date with everything and also venturing into new things. She is very friendly and courteous and puts you at ease. She has tremendous skills with nail art and can pretty much do whatever you want. I have no problem recommending Lorraine, you will not be disappointed. Whatever you need she can do

Lorraine is an amazingly talented nail technician, her designs are bespoke to each client and she is always learning and developing new styles, nothing is too much trouble. Her treatment room is always welcoming and each visit leaves you feeling pampered and special. Her attention to detail and her insistence on using only safe products on nails, lashes and skin leaves you totally confident in her and her treatments.
