Olivier is wonderful, love the haircut and his approach to colouring too. Beautiful. Loved everything about this salon. UNTIL 10 minutes ago when I decided to make another appointment, and found out his prices have SKYROCKETED! :( :( and almost DOUBLED! I am so sad, absolutely heartbroken, as I really liked the stylist and his work. But sadly, I simply can no longer afford to come to his salon, so have to look somewhere else. :(( Oh what an absolute shame though. Best of luck Olivier! Hope you will consider lowering your prices though!

Had the best advice and haircut I have EVER had. Olivier is friendly and professional. The salon is very rustic and comfortable a much better experience than being in a busy, hot and smelly salon where you feel you are just a number. I recommend Hair in the Forest very highly indeed. Myself and my daughter visited Huttons yesterday to have our nails (acrylics) and eyebrows waxed and tinted with Chantelle . I must say how super friendly the team are and Chantelle has done and amazing job . She is very professional and also such fun . These are the best nails we have ever had . Always lovely to see Caroline or Georgia as they’ve been cutting our hair for years!! Caroline is the fastest colourist there is I’m always done in an hour and a half. Nice to catch up on family and friends news and the salon always is welcoming and feels relaxed. Didn’t have my handbag so no tip to give 😳 Will double on my next visit Caroline - I promise!! 🥰

I love Heidi from Bee stylish, she always does my hair amazingly, I'm always well looked after, she is extremely polite, she did my wedding hair last year and it was lovely it lasted all day, considering we played rounders aswell as being on a bouncy castle

Haircut for 2 wriggly little boys. Gemma did fantastic job, she was talking to the boys, they were sitting still while she worked. Whole process took 10 minutes per boy. I experienced that in every barber shop in Shaftesbury, the barbers were cutting at much slower pace, children were getting restless and barbers were impatient - didn't feel welcome in any of the barber shops. In Over the Top, we felt welcome and while one son was getting a haircut, the other son was playing with Arthur the dog ;) We will definitely return. Thank you

It’s always a pleasure visiting Coleese and there’s no other salon I’d rather go to. All the staff are so friendly and attentive - they ensure I never leave unhappy with a service. Today the wonderful Madi did my hair. I’ve seen Madi at the salon during a lot of her training and it’s so lovely seeing her progress. She did an excellent job with my colour and styled it beautifully afterwards - I couldn’t be happier with the result!

I recently took my 3 year old daughter here for her first trim of her slow growing curly locks. I also had my 6 year son in tow. It was just before Christmas so the salon was very busy. We arrived just in the nick of time and were made very welcome. Although it was crowded, space was quickly made for us to get seated and Kate was attended to with professionalism and care. My son can be a little energetic at times and did wander down the salon a couple of times to be rapidly called back by me. At no time did I feel that there was any negative feedback from that by the staff. In fact the children were offered a sweet as a treat and the staff enaged with them when they could particularly Natalie the owner. Kate left feeling very happy. While I was sat there, I was able to observe the quality of the work that the team were creating for the clients of all ages. I would highly recommend and look forward to taking Kate along in future.

Had a lovely hair cut today with Nadine. I didn't know what to do with my hair, but thanks to Nadine's knowledge I walked out with my hair looking much more healthy and with more volume! I also had a lovely head, neck and shoulder massage which was a really nice touch. Already booked back in for January! My first time at Riva and Abbie is amazing! I had a style and colour I didn’t like that was well overdue for a cut and colour-Abbie really listened in the consultation and knew what I wanted. Had my haircut yesterday and am so thrilled! Beautiful shade and an amazing cut to get to where I want it and eventually have the style I am working towards when grown! Definitely now a keeper of a hairdresser 👍👌❤️

Been having my hair done with Abbie for a while now and I’m always so happy with it. The salon is a nice environment to have a chat whilst getting your hair done! Very professional and listens to what you want but also gives advice if you’re unsure, Abbie is attentive - I’ve had other hairdressers charge me senior prices when it has been their juniors doing majority of the work, but Abbie is on it from start to finish, exactly what I want!. I’ve moved slightly away from the area but still come back for my appointments 🤍

I'm very pleased with my colour and cut. Both Chloe and Abi have been great. Very friendly and professional and use excellent products. My hair hasn't looked this good for ages. The salon is lovely too. Nice location and clean and airy inside. All in all a nice relaxing experience. I can recommend.

Got my hair coloured here, was quite nervous as at different salons has not gone well however from the initial consultation to the actual hair appointment they put me at ease, explaining stuff and just being so helpful. Now several days after getting my hair done, I'm absolutely in love with it. Jade did a great job with such dark hair :)

Thank you to Chloe and kayla for yout wonderful expertise and experience. Kayla gave my hair a nice thorough wash and chatted to me making me feel at ease. Chloe from the moment i arrived you made me feel welcome and you were very professional polite and knowledgeable you explained all the products and discussed my cut with me and recommended treatments to help my hair which was in dire need of TLC and a good restyle and tidy up. My hair went from being a flat lifeless mop to a wonderful glowing wavy layered cut with movement. Chloe added waves that added more texture and went the extra mile made me included every-step of my cut and style. Great service will be returning and booked in with Chloé again
