Mathew was highly recommended and three years ago did some patching for us. We then booked him to re thatch the roof and were happy to wait knowing we were in good hands. He kept in touch as promised and arrived as scheduled mid March this year, 2023. He has an excellent work ethic, always prompt with time keeping, responding to calls etc and has an unflappable approach where nothing seems too much trouble. Matthew, Ollie and Luke were totally professional from the outset, keeping us involved with their progress and any unforeseen problems were seamlessly resolved. Their enthusiasm regarding their work was carried out with pride, professionalism and to an exceptionally high standard. This has been commented on by many passers by whether walkers or drivers who stopped to watch and admire our beautiful new thatch. We cannot recommend them highly enough. They were a joy to have around throughout the whole process, very appreciative and respectful, a very happy harmonious team.

Matthew and his team did a brilliant job replacing the ridge and carrying out general repairs and cleaning to the thatched roof of our cottage in Wiltshire. We sent an SOS to Chris at 6.40am on a very wet Friday morning Rain was pouring through our flat roof . Our stepped lead parapet gutter was completely replaced by Abbey Roofing and Preservation. The work included new plywood sub-deck, replacement support timbers where necessary and new parapet wall flashings. We were very impressed with the attention to detail and good quality craftsmanship. The resulting parapet is a work of art. It is beautifully formed and robustly constructed, with neat lead joins and welding. Roof tiles were expertly refitted to compliment its lines. After 9 months and a wet winter, I can say the parapet is fully functional. We are very pleased and will be asking Steve back again to work on other areas of our roof. Rebecca from Wimborne.

Ross and his team are absolutely fantastic and we cannot speak highly enough of them! They are one of those companies, that much like a secret ingredient in a recipe you don’t want to give away the details. However, when you do find yourself and your home in the hands of a company that give such a high level of service, it’s only fair to give credit where it’s due. We were in a position of having a roof leak, condensation and ventilation issues. Ross, managed to get out to us, even though he had a lot of jobs waiting. All the lads have been friendly, professional, reliable and knowledgeable. They are grafters, their work is of exceptional quality, and they leave everything clean and tidy. Nothing has been too much trouble for Ross….and he really has gone the extra mile. Any further works we need doing that come under RSM’s remit, we will always use them. It is also worth mentioning that they not only come highly recommended by us, but also by our neighbour, and by a relative who was a building surveyor. You may wait a bit longer for Ross than other companies, but RSM Roofing are well worth it!
