Joe from Jurassic Coast completed a full re-roof on my cottage. He had excellent knowledge and sourced high quality materials at a good price. He carried out the work to an excellent standard. In particular he took a lot of pride in the lead work and ridging. He’s extremely hard working and worked tirelessly to get the job done in tough November weather. Redmore Roofing were professional to deal with and they've done a good, tidy job with our roof repair in a timeframe we're pleased with. I'm happy with the work that's been done. Our payment ended up being a bit higher than our estimate in the end, which wasn't ideal but the guys had to stay for longer than was anticipated on that quote to complete the work, so it was justifiable. Also, a little bit of mess was left behind in our garden where it looks like some dirt was used to prop open our gate (but in the grand scheme of things that's really quite negligible). Overall, I'd happily recommend Redmore to anyone considering them and will be calling them first if anything else needs to be done with our roof.

My original quote was for some replacement guttering, fascias and soffits requested in September 2022 after the purchase of a new house. I agreed my very reasonable quote with the lovely Christie at the office, and waited for my slot. By November, rain was freely watering my living room and a whole new set of problems came to bite me. Jory was quick to attend my frantic emergency and temporarily fixed the problem - the man was my hero of the day. After a terrible winter 2022/23 (why did I buy this house) it was very clear the roof was leaking in multiple areas and the membrane was causing condensation not picked up in the survey. Jory offered various options to allow me to fix a serious problem at an affordable price. I chose a reroof and had all the gutters, fascias and soffits renewed at the same time. All I can say is, I could not have chosen a better roofer, the man knows what he is doing. Jory and Ryan were professional but personable and made me feel safe (as a single mum). The job was completed efficiently, to a high standard (they even took away the old chimney wedged under my roof!) with attention to detail for a Victorian property. Craig Haskins is a genuine craftsman of the old mould. He has just finished the leadwork on two chimneys that we had to have rebuilt and the result is brilliant. He has been a roofer for 35 years and has immense experience. He takes infinite care and his skill is unmatched in this part of the country. He is always ready with excellent advice and will do his best to save you money if he possibly can. We are lucky to be able to call on him.

After online research, I contacted Craig after discovering some damaged lead flashing. He visited promptly and when he saw the extent of the deterioration exclaimed “crikey!” which was most restrained. He was of course very busy, but fortunately there was no leakage, so we agreed that he should return some weeks later when his programme allowed. Meanwhile, he emailed a detailed quotation including for scaffolding (which he would arrange) and waste disposal. From the outset I was confident that (somewhat by luck) I’d found the local expert. In due course, a date was pencilled in and later confirmed. The scaffolding arrived as planned, as did Craig, who then did what appeared to be a very thorough job. All in all, I was very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend him.

From start to finish, Nathan and James kept us informed throughout the project and were very patient with our questions. Their quotation for the rethatch was competitive and the work has been done efficiently, professionally, on schedule and with great attention to the detail and final finish. We had MC roofing do our whole roof on our new build including parapet roof! Fantastic job done. We did our research before going with MC roofing and we are so pleased we picked them. Prices where amazing and very reasonable and communication was great. Would always refer them to friends and family and use again.

Excellent service - Rang them 3.30 pm on Thursday with an urgent problem (large lumps of mortar torn free from gable verge above our front door and some had landed on our doorstep. Ryan called round at 5 pm and immediately climbed up a ladder and removed the larger pieces that were precariously hanging over the guttering and assessed the damage. We received an e-mail with the quote for repairing the damage around 7.30 pm. We already had approval for scaffolding to be erected to contain the risk of falling debris from our insurance company but we were astounded at 8.00 am the following morning when the scaffolders arrived and completed the installation before 12.00 pm. We sent the quote with photographs to our insurance company who rang Ryan for more detailed information about the cause of the problem and subsequently gave us the approval for MC roofing to carry out the work. We rang Ryan mid afternoon to give him the go ahead and were delighted when he rang back later to inform us that the work would be carried out the following day being a Saturday. The roofers arrived at 9.00 am and completed the work before 4.00pm to a high standard and we were well impressed almost within 48 hours of our first phone contact! We know which company we will be using should we have any future roofing issues!!

Ross and his team are absolutely fantastic and we cannot speak highly enough of them! They are one of those companies, that much like a secret ingredient in a recipe you don’t want to give away the details. However, when you do find yourself and your home in the hands of a company that give such a high level of service, it’s only fair to give credit where it’s due. We were in a position of having a roof leak, condensation and ventilation issues. Ross, managed to get out to us, even though he had a lot of jobs waiting. All the lads have been friendly, professional, reliable and knowledgeable. They are grafters, their work is of exceptional quality, and they leave everything clean and tidy. Nothing has been too much trouble for Ross….and he really has gone the extra mile. Any further works we need doing that come under RSM’s remit, we will always use them. It is also worth mentioning that they not only come highly recommended by us, but also by our neighbour, and by a relative who was a building surveyor. You may wait a bit longer for Ross than other companies, but RSM Roofing are well worth it!
