Mathew was highly recommended and three years ago did some patching for us. We then booked him to re thatch the roof and were happy to wait knowing we were in good hands. He kept in touch as promised and arrived as scheduled mid March this year, 2023. He has an excellent work ethic, always prompt with time keeping, responding to calls etc and has an unflappable approach where nothing seems too much trouble. Matthew, Ollie and Luke were totally professional from the outset, keeping us involved with their progress and any unforeseen problems were seamlessly resolved. Their enthusiasm regarding their work was carried out with pride, professionalism and to an exceptionally high standard. This has been commented on by many passers by whether walkers or drivers who stopped to watch and admire our beautiful new thatch. We cannot recommend them highly enough. They were a joy to have around throughout the whole process, very appreciative and respectful, a very happy harmonious team.

Matthew and Ollie were always punctual, considerate, polite and had attention to detail. The site was tidied up daily and thoroughly cleaned at the end. This was a complete rethatch and stayed within the very reasonable quote. They worked quickly and efficiently and to the time stated (three weeks), there was some bad weather so we were really impressed. They have done a really good job and neighbours have made very positive comments about it. In all ways, we feel we made the best decision in using MP Thatching and would recommend them. Quality work at a great price, wouldn't hesitate to recommend Martin and Jake. They replaced an old leaking extension roof with synthetic slate and a triple garage with insulated profile sheets. We are really pleased with the results and will be using them again when the main slate roof is replaced. These are old buildings and threw up some issues, they took them in their stride and kept on budget. Thanks guys.

Martin and team recently repaired a leaking gable end on our grade 2 listed chapel. They did a fantatsic job removing all existing stone work and replacing the perished lead. The finished result is better than the original. They turned up on time and completed the job on time and budget.
