My original quote was for some replacement guttering, fascias and soffits requested in September 2022 after the purchase of a new house. I agreed my very reasonable quote with the lovely Christie at the office, and waited for my slot. By November, rain was freely watering my living room and a whole new set of problems came to bite me. Jory was quick to attend my frantic emergency and temporarily fixed the problem - the man was my hero of the day. After a terrible winter 2022/23 (why did I buy this house) it was very clear the roof was leaking in multiple areas and the membrane was causing condensation not picked up in the survey. Jory offered various options to allow me to fix a serious problem at an affordable price. I chose a reroof and had all the gutters, fascias and soffits renewed at the same time. All I can say is, I could not have chosen a better roofer, the man knows what he is doing. Jory and Ryan were professional but personable and made me feel safe (as a single mum). The job was completed efficiently, to a high standard (they even took away the old chimney wedged under my roof!) with attention to detail for a Victorian property. Damien came and gave a quote. Some weeks later I agreed to go ahead and was booked in. He kept in touch with the estimated date for works. Had the conservatory roof replaced, internal ceiling plastered. Additionally a stud wall built and the dwarf walls plastered. All the guys were friendly and tidy and kept me informed as the job progressed. I’ve waited several months to post this to ensure there weren’t any teething issues and I’ve had no concerns at all. Very pleased would certainly recommend.

Our conservatory was cold, damp and a useless space in the winter. The conservatory has now been transformed into a useable , warm and light space. Far cheaper than an extension, but has the same effect, it is now a fully useable room. Highly recommend this company, very professional and trustworthy. They are very different to the other companies that deal with conservatory roofs. There is no hard sell, the quote is what it will cost, no extortionate prices that magically get reduced like other companies in this field. Our stepped lead parapet gutter was completely replaced by Abbey Roofing and Preservation. The work included new plywood sub-deck, replacement support timbers where necessary and new parapet wall flashings. We were very impressed with the attention to detail and good quality craftsmanship. The resulting parapet is a work of art. It is beautifully formed and robustly constructed, with neat lead joins and welding. Roof tiles were expertly refitted to compliment its lines. After 9 months and a wet winter, I can say the parapet is fully functional. We are very pleased and will be asking Steve back again to work on other areas of our roof. Rebecca from Wimborne.

Excellent service - Rang them 3.30 pm on Thursday with an urgent problem (large lumps of mortar torn free from gable verge above our front door and some had landed on our doorstep. Ryan called round at 5 pm and immediately climbed up a ladder and removed the larger pieces that were precariously hanging over the guttering and assessed the damage. We received an e-mail with the quote for repairing the damage around 7.30 pm. We already had approval for scaffolding to be erected to contain the risk of falling debris from our insurance company but we were astounded at 8.00 am the following morning when the scaffolders arrived and completed the installation before 12.00 pm. We sent the quote with photographs to our insurance company who rang Ryan for more detailed information about the cause of the problem and subsequently gave us the approval for MC roofing to carry out the work. We rang Ryan mid afternoon to give him the go ahead and were delighted when he rang back later to inform us that the work would be carried out the following day being a Saturday. The roofers arrived at 9.00 am and completed the work before 4.00pm to a high standard and we were well impressed almost within 48 hours of our first phone contact! We know which company we will be using should we have any future roofing issues!!

Can't recommend Darren's work enough. I had three separate leaks in my roof and he has fixed them all. So far no more leaks and we've had quite a bit of rain since. His work is of a very high quality and sympathetic to the property, which is an old cob cottage. I shall most certainly be employing his services again should the need arise.

Had a badly leaking bit of flat roof and called in Jamie for a quote. Was given what sounded to me like a competitive price with full details. All arranged with the very helpful Charlotte by phone and email. The two young lads they sent round were charming and respectful, and most importantly of all dog-friendly! Before/After photos were emailed and payment was easy using digital invoices. Have definitely been recommended to others already.

After online research, I contacted Craig after discovering some damaged lead flashing. He visited promptly and when he saw the extent of the deterioration exclaimed “crikey!” which was most restrained. He was of course very busy, but fortunately there was no leakage, so we agreed that he should return some weeks later when his programme allowed. Meanwhile, he emailed a detailed quotation including for scaffolding (which he would arrange) and waste disposal. From the outset I was confident that (somewhat by luck) I’d found the local expert. In due course, a date was pencilled in and later confirmed. The scaffolding arrived as planned, as did Craig, who then did what appeared to be a very thorough job. All in all, I was very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend him.

A very professional job. Work done to a high standard. Craig removed all the existing tiles from our roof and replaced the felt and battens. The tiles were then secured back onto the roof. Craig also renewed all the lead work. Would have no hesitation in recommending him and in fact already have!

I don't usually leave reviews, but dave and his team were that good... it's the least i could do... They initially attended to a roof leak for my elderly mum last year... they attended within hours, managed to do a temp fix and get her in the dry, then were back within days with scaffold to do proper repair. My own roof was in need of redoing, so i got dave to quote along with a couple of other roofers, and he came in cheapest. they've just finished and i'm chuffed with how it all went. Good value and very professional.
