I initially employed Pete for some painting after sacking off rubbish tradesmen before him! He is easily the best in terms of workmanship I have seen. He’s a nice guy, turns up when he says and is reasonably priced. Since, he has done WiFi and camera installations and to be honest I’d always ask Pete in future if he could do a job before considering anyone else!

We've used MrFixitDorset on a number of occasions to fit lights, security lights, hang pictures, mirrors and door number plates and to ask advice of. He's been superb, punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and tidy every time. He's honest - if a job is not within his wide range of capabilities he'll tell you so instead of just winging it. We'll use him again and recommend him every time someone needs a local handyman.

At one time with a thatched roof, long since replaced by slates, it stands beside a larger church built in 1828 and is now used as the Church Hall. Thomas Whitty, founder of the Axminster Carpet Industry, is commemorated by a plaque on the building and is buried in the little graveyard.
