What a fantastic service, would highly recommend. Ellis supplied and fitted a new side gate, of excellent quality and dug out an old manhole cover and surround, then cemented in a new surround, filling in holes found when digging out the old one. Ellis is a very personable, efficient workman with good honest communication and time keeping.

Great experience working with Ellis. He has a "can do" approach, he charges fairly and he won't leave you with an unfinished job to figure out yourself. Great timekeeping, he cleans up any mess before he leaves and he is good at what he does. Very easy to work with and you can be confident the job will get done with a good finish.

Moved house 7 weeks ago and had a long list of things to get done from shelves in the kitchen/utility, a shed to build, a garden office to finish and so on. Trevor is working his way through the list and everything is done to a high standard. He has such a broad range of skills, never over commits and is reliable. He is also a very decent guy. Recommend him highly for a wide range of jobs.

Trevor advertises as a handyman, but he is much more than that. He is a precision handyman. He always plans his work carefully, and then executes that plan with great accuracy. He has done 5 jobs for us now, the latest was the complete installation of a kitchen. The kitchen was from a mid-range supplier, Wren, but thanks to Trevor's attention to detail it looks like a kitchen that would have cost twice the price.

We contacted Trevor to help solve some issues after being let down by a builder. Trevor is friendly, arrived when he said he would and has helped to complete our new kitchen. He is very professional and pays attention to detail, a true craftsman. We do not hesitate to recommend Trevor 🙂

What a nice knowlegable guy. Trevor came at short notice and fitted a floating console unit, hung a picture and levelled off some seriously off level cupboard doors. I could not be more pleased with what he did, the way he works and how respectfully he treated my property. Highly recommended.

This is the third major work that South Hams Handyman have carried out in the last few years for me. This time a completely new bathroom. As before, the work has been done to a very high standard, Jay liaised with us throughout the job, and as we were away in mid Dec. we were happy for Jay to have our key and do the major part of the work. We decided to use Jay after seeing examples of his work online and we were really pleased we did! We had an old upstairs bathroom that we inherited when we bought our house 12 months ago. It was in need of total replacement, including replacing the ceiling and removal of an old electric fan-heater that was attached to the wall. Jay was very transparent about costs and timelines (both of which were very accurate) and the end result looks fantastic. He is a super nice guy, down-to-earth, friendly, but more importantly he is honest and reliable. Would highly recommend!

Refurbishment of downstairs cloakroom (toilet/vanity unit & sink, tiles), replace cloakroom & hall floors with new luxury vinyl boards and updated upstairs bathroom with new vanity unit, toilet, bath panel, vinyl flooring, shower and shower screen. Jay also installed floating shelves, mirror, paper towel and soap dispensers in the cloakroom. Excellent job replacing what we believe to be the original build items of some 20 years ago (we have been in 2 years). Have already arranged for refurb of en-suite later in the year. Best Handyman you'll ever have. Completes every task with attention to detail and always has a solution if there's a hitch. You'll have to book him well in advance but it's worth the wait. George is a thoroughly honest and decent person and his modest charges reflect this. He perfectly installed our wall panels and much, much more.

Can’t recommend George enough! He worked through a list of jobs on the first visit from blinds to my garden gate and then he built the most awesome media wall for me in less than 2 days finished and painted whilst fitting in other little jobs. Fred recently replaced some of the wooden worktops in our kitchen. He did a brilliant job and went above and beyond, sanding down and oiling the worktops on our island for us as well! He's really friendly and easy to communicate with. We'd definitely use him again!

Fred built a bespoke desk for us in the office. The quality of his work was very good, he has been very responsive, polite so we will use him again

Fred recently installed solid oak worktops for us, and previously made some repairs in my Dad’s house. His work is of the highest standard and he goes above and beyond - for example he made shelves for us from the worktop off-cuts at no extra charge. He’s a really nice chap too!

Highly recommend! Fred came and fixed the issue with our leaking garage roof and also replaced some skirting board for us. He was on time, very polite and kept us well informed throughout as to what needed to be done and how it was going. Fred was easy to get hold of and always responded quickly. He is now back doing some more work on our house and we will definitely be using him again in the future.

Joel has just completed our garden…... beautifully laid decking, regrouting the tiles so they now look brand new, laying sleepers and even making a wooden arch to fit perfectly across our path. The guy is a genius with a wonderful cheerful attitude, wouldn’t hesitate to use him again 😄
