James and his team have done it again! Kitchen design is from Yanni at Howdens, who was excellent. Andy, the carpenter who works with James did a wonderful job installing the kitchen and wardrobes. His attention to detail is fantastic and very much appreciated. A shout out to Martin and Joe who did a few other bits to an exceptional standard. We can't rate James and his team highly enough. James and his team were absolutely superb from start to finish. He is polite, punctual and very quick with responding to questions and queries. The work was completed to a very high standard, ahead of schedule and on budget. All of James’ staff were easy to have around the busy family home. They even bring their own toilet and are self sufficient regarding hot drinks etc I would not hesitate to book James again and will only use him and his team if we decide to have any future work done. We had been left in a mess due to a rogue builder and I can’t thank him enough for fitting us in early, making us feel like a priority and completing the work so quickly.

We appointed James in January 2024 to extend our separate kitchen & dining rooms, turning them into a light and airy open-plan kitchen and living space. James is extremely efficient, polite, and respectful. Working with a 1930s house it was inevitable that there would be some structural challenges, but James worked with us, keeping us informed and involved as we devised solutions together. His team are all very polite, deliver work of excellent quality, and clearly enjoy their work and working together. As a result, I was able to continue working from home for much of the project, which saved us considerable expense. Working with James meant that we did not have to project manage the work - he has all the contacts you need - tilers, decorators, suppliers of windows, electricians, plumbers etc. We would definitely recommend James and would happily work with him again.

They took a great deal of care around our living set up enabling us to mostly stay at the house throughout. Our renovation involved fitting RSJs (thanks Joe and Martin), removal of chimney flute, refitting staircase, knocking through walls, widening doors, new waste piping (Thanks Justin), new flooring (thanks Matt), new kitchen (Thanks Andy), new WC room, plastering (Thanks Lewis), painting (Thanks Colin and Craig), tiling (Thanks Steve), carpentry and fitting a stunning oak framed window (Thanks Liam!).

Ellis came to ours to put up a shed and put in some lights on our high ceilings. He came exactly when he said he would, worked quickly, keeping us updated with progress, and did a great job. His price was entirely fair. We would highly recommend his services. Thanks Ellis!

Great experience working with Ellis. He has a "can do" approach, he charges fairly and he won't leave you with an unfinished job to figure out yourself. Great timekeeping, he cleans up any mess before he leaves and he is good at what he does. Very easy to work with and you can be confident the job will get done with a good finish.

We’ve invested so much time, money and effort to no avail. But our luck changed once we approached Ellis. After some thorough investigation, he managed to find the problem areas. Nick has done so many jobs for us over the past 7 years I cannot remember them all! But he is the man to go to if you need pretty much anything done, handyman is the exact right word to describe Nick!
