Pete is a lovely guy, very friendly and genuine. Another company tried to charge me to re-tune my tv and made out it was a 'big job'. James and his team have made a wonderful job of our loft conversion, although it’s much more than that. Upstairs, we now have a lovely additional double bedroom and large bathroom and the changes to the hallway and staircase are fantastic. There have also been changes to one of the rooms downstairs, which is much better now the chimney breast is removed. We have a new front door and the whole roof has been retiled. The dormer blends in really well and we love our new round window. Overall, its created so much more space and the finish is first class. We couldn’t be happier. Everyone involved has been highly professional and polite. Importantly, communication with James has been excellent throughout. His monthly invoicing is very clear and easy to understand. We appointed James in January 2024 to extend our separate kitchen & dining rooms, turning them into a light and airy open-plan kitchen and living space. James is extremely efficient, polite, and respectful. Working with a 1930s house it was inevitable that there would be some structural challenges, but James worked with us, keeping us informed and involved as we devised solutions together. His team are all very polite, deliver work of excellent quality, and clearly enjoy their work and working together. As a result, I was able to continue working from home for much of the project, which saved us considerable expense. Working with James meant that we did not have to project manage the work - he has all the contacts you need - tilers, decorators, suppliers of windows, electricians, plumbers etc. We would definitely recommend James and would happily work with him again.

We highly recommend Ellis. I’m the 1st to admit I have very high standards. Ellis has impressed me so much, that he is now definitely my go to on any other projects or problems I might need help with. We’ve had an issue where rain water kept flooding our kitchen. We’ve invested so much time, money and effort to no avail. But our luck changed once we approached Ellis. After some thorough investigation, he managed to find the problem areas. Due to the severity of the problem, he was quick to resolve the issues. He is a genius, as he has managed to achieve where 3 companies before him failed. He is also a clean and tidy worker and is very approachable.

Trevor advertises as a handyman, but he is much more than that. He is a precision handyman. He always plans his work carefully, and then executes that plan with great accuracy. He has done 5 jobs for us now, the latest was the complete installation of a kitchen. The kitchen was from a mid-range supplier, Wren, but thanks to Trevor's attention to detail it looks like a kitchen that would have cost twice the price.

Moved house 7 weeks ago and had a long list of things to get done from shelves in the kitchen/utility, a shed to build, a garden office to finish and so on. Trevor is working his way through the list and everything is done to a high standard. He has such a broad range of skills, never over commits and is reliable. He is also a very decent guy. We have used Jim for our decorating since we moved to the area ten years ago. His standard is excellent and we have recently had a bedroom re-decorated by him and his wife. My wife and I were lucky enough to come across Jim a few years ago when we asked him to fit some insulation strips around our garage doors. He has since carried out many jobs for us, ranging from painting, wallpaper stripping, picture hanging, replacing internal door knobs, repointing of our chimney stack and garden maintenance. All work has been carried out to the highest standard, he is a sociable individual, a pleasure to deal with, always punctual and we can't recommend him highly enough. We will certainly be using him in the future.
