Great quality fresh pizza, nice outside seating if you want to sit in and eat. Also offer takeaway. Lovely people.

Absolutely perfect spot for a late lunch, or pre pub grub. Quick service, great choice of toppings (and vegan options). There's a covered/heated outdoor dining area, and the choices of beer/soft drinks is also impressive.

Really great Pizza. Proper ingredients, cooked perfectly, full of flavour. Had the pepperoni and chorizo- highly recommend.

The pizza was amazing š¤© (best in the world says my kids!) Milkshakes were yummy too. Three stars for atmosphere as dead leaves in marquee need replacing!

Ordered takeaway on Saturday. Atmosphere on collection was busy, food was delicious and hot, portion size was generous. We ordered the OG burger and a gluten free bun was available and catered for well. Only criticism is we had to a wait a bit longer than agreed pickup time, but for such a new business still finding their feet on their first Saturday night, I could understand, so it didnāt reflect the review. If you want tasty burgers with some great choices, look no further.

My husband pre- ordered, which was very easy , the food was ready when we collected. The burgers and chips were all nice and the ingredients fresh. I do think they are a lot of money for burger and chips , so this would not be something we had very often.

Wow what a burger! The place is a lovely funky modern place, on industrial estate so easy parking outside. I got to have a cider, burger, and fries. Not the cheapest but well worth it! They clearly have great meat supplier patties were great!
Rating: 5 / 5
Had the truffle burger, sweet potato fries and halloumi fries. Sweet potato fries were kinda caramelised and so good. Halloumi was soft and flavourful. Though the burger looked small compared to other places it absolutely hits the spot. Juicy and flavourful. The sauce literally bleeds out with each bite. Staff are welcoming and friendly. It's a little out the way and very hidden. Defo a hidden gem. Definitely looking to make it a regular stop.

Sorry for the delay in posting, We came here at the end of May this year, the staff were very friendly and helpful they even catered for my daughter who really struggles with certain foods coming into contact with each other and has lactose intolerance, the chef was most helpful and even came out to chat with us, the food was excellent and well worth it. We are looking forward to going back hopefully on our way back from Hampshire 23rd Aug 2024. Thank you to all the team.

What a little gem of a pub!! Sadly no photos, but I can attest to the food being fabulous. I loved the creativity of the chef. Incredible scotch eggs, and his quirky Indian chocolate orange with a curry anglaise - whilst it sounds wrong on paper - was one of the best things Iāve had in yonks!!! Great local pub with cosmopolitan content. We loved it! š

I love this pub. Friendly bar staff. I have found Locals are friendly and open to chat. The chef is amazing and always happy to accommodate people's needs and tastes. I enjoy the selection of ale which changes reg ( always have London pride on tap though) so this is my favorite pub.

I can honestly say my partner and I have just had the best roast dinner weāve ever had. Being vegetarian we donāt usually bother to go out for dinner in Dorset as weāre often given bland boiled veg. The chef, Adam, and staff at the Stour Inn went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could possible want (crispy potatoes, garlic greens, cauliflower cheese, HUGE yorkshiresā¦). Staff were so friendly and the pub has a wonderful atmosphere. Weāve already booked again for next weekend. Thank you!!

Gosh, what can I say? Every time that I have had a takeaway from Namaste Ghurka it has exceeded expectations. Once again, absolutely great food and it makes living in Blandford more than well worth living! THANK YOU - BRILLIANT!

Good restaurant to support the locals. Building is simple and characteristic, although needs some updating. Staff are still young so don't expect world class service, but good effort nonetheless. Food is great, reasonably priced and good portion sizes. Plenty of vegetation options as well.

First visit to the area and saw the previous reviews for this restaurant which were positive. We were not disappointed. Lovely food and good service. Tried the dumplings as a starter (rather than my usual choice of onion bhaji) and they were delicious.

Decent food, excellent friendly service. Went here for group Sunday pub lunch following a walk. Food was cooked to a good standard and staff were very accommodating without being fussy. However the meal felt slightly on the pricey side (over Ā£10 for most starters and Ā£22Ā± for most main courses) . Would otherwise be happy to recommend. Thank you

Wonderful place to eat. My husband and I visited the area and we must say that we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The wonderful staff was helpful and lovely.
Rating: 5 / 5
The pub itself is a historic building, beautiful area and fantastic food and drink. Some might say it's expensive, but when you learn where the ingredients come from and the owners care and devotion it's a whole experience. I can't comment on the rooms as I've never used them.

We didn't stay here in accomodation as we stayed about a 5min walk away. The staff we excellent and the food was amazing. Although they run out of white bait as a starter the chef offered a mix of calamari and what white bait was left. Can't fault the food and the staff. As a table of 11 it was amazing and they were hosting a party also. Well done to all staff on Saturday night. Oh if you visit, I would recommend the scotch egg starter, stunning. Well done

Very warm and friendly welcome from the lady behind the bar today for lunch. Chicken burger, chunky chips and salad Ā£10.50! Bacon cheese burger, chunky chips and salad Ā£12.50! Amazing value Iām going to try the home made lasagna next time. Salad wasnāt just a bit of lettuce, but a decent freshly prepared salad with pepper, red onion, cress ect exceptional and very reasonably price food and drinks, the best value food in town. The bar is full of some old characters adding to the traditional pub atmosphere. Garden was clean and tidy, will be back soon š»

I have driven past this pub on more occasions than I could probably mention and always said must try that one. Well today was the day and so pleased that I did! I can honestly say this was one of the best (if not the best) pub food I have ever had. Our table of four all had different dishes and every single one was outstanding quality with a generous portion. Personally I opted for the ploughman's asking for it without the meat element which wasn't a problem at all. An excellent selection, fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend booking, even for lunch, as it was busy, and it's really not surprising why. The service was friendly and a good pub atmosphere made it a great experience and all at a fair price too. This will most definitely not be the last visit to this highly recommended Dorset pub. If you haven't been then add it to your 'must visit' list, but don't leave it as long as I did.

The pubs staff were friendly and funny, not just robots and also not too cheeky it becomes weird. The portions were the size youd give yourself at a buffet. The price was fine. And the menu had a decent selection. I had the pie and it almost had more stake than my girlfriends ribeye. Highly recommend.

We had drinks, dinner and then stayed over in our motorhome and it was absolutely wonderful! The food was exceptional, the service was excellent and the pub and beer garden are great. We were made to feel very welcome and would definitely recommend!

A Dorset gem. I've only ever had the Sunday Carvery here because it's fantastic value (Ā£14.50) and absolutely delicious. I always end up asking for a box so there is bubble and squeak to go home with! The staff are great and friendly. I'd say this is a proper pub and Sunday lunch experience! Booking very much recommended they are popular.

Most pleasant Sunday lunch out we've enjoyed of late. Lovely fresh home cooked food, fair value. Good choices. Efficient, friendly & professional staff, a really well run pub!

Absolute gem of a pub, excellent Sunday lunch which was massive. Staff were lovely and very attentive. The pub was lovely, warm, inviting and quirky. Have been before for steam up but had to re visit to try the food and so glad we did. Lovely experience and we will definitely return
Rating: 5 / 5
Lovely traditional pub with a wide range of beer and good food. We visited on a Thursday evening and it was pretty busy. I think it is one of the only pubs in Stourpaine, but service was great and the food was lovely. I had the steak pudding and chips, which I've not had for years but it was gorgeous. My wife had ham, egg and chips, which again she said tasted delicious. The pub has a whole raft of service mens hats dotted throughout the place and has had a visit by King Charles when he was a prince. Lovely place, well worth a visit.

You can always rely on quality food and great service. There are always fantastic events scheduled throughout the year, from live music to steam engine displays. A fine example of a great pub.

I cant comment on food as we only stopped by for a quick half. I am so pleased we did. . . A lovely venue steeped in history, with lots of original atrefacts recovered from the original brewery which is actively being demolished by the look of it, sadly. . . I have drank and enjoyed Badger beers for some years and was over the moon when I found that it was based in Blandford Forum, as we passed through on a daytrip. A very worthwhile stop off.
