Myself and my partner decided to come here as we love see food. We arrived and was immediately approached by a server to offer a table. She was lovely and friendly. I explained I was gluten intolerant and she explained they are affiliated with the coeliac society and every dish could be adapted to gluten free. We were then seated and it was what I can only describe as an impeccable service.the servers were very attentive with attention to detail. The food arrived and it was delicious and hot. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood š

Amazing service from as soon as we walked in the door. The bubbly was delivered for my partners bithday. We were told who our server would be and he couldnt have been any more helpful. He was great with food and sauce choices. I would highly recommend to anyone. We will definetly be returning in the future.

We visited for a little lunch on a quiet weekday. We tried the starter scallops and both had the set menu, tempura prawn and lemon sole. Very delicious, really nice food, great atmosphere. Only complaint, I think the lemon sole should come with a tartare sauce or some sort of sauce on the side, not an additional price. It could do with something extra. I do think this restaurant is quite expensive, but I would still go for a treat. The tempura prawns were beautiful , not oily at all and the scallops were absolutely perfect. Really delicious.

We came for the beautiful view whilst eating and to scope out the menu and ambience for a hopeful venue and private dining. I can honestly say we were blown away. The building outside isn't the best or overly inviting, however once inside it's very beautiful! The menu has great choices and a big note that they do gluten free pasta on request for a small extra charge! With coeliac parents this is a huge plus for future visits with them. Our food was just delicious and plentiful we had starters & mains, wanted desserts but nicely satisfied so instead asked for the bill, a very reasonable price for a wonderful meal. We had a quick show around the private rooms as they were busy but we were very impressed with everything, we can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!

Italian restaurant situated in a former bandstand on Weymouth beach. The restaurant has recently been renovated , to a high standard . The staff were friendly and very attentive , keeping an eye on empty drinks , plates being clearing away or new courses to be brought . We had cocktails.. very good. Seafood Pizza .. excellent Melt in the mouth chicken with roasted vegetables and a mushroom sauce , followed by a very tart lemon sorbet . All very nice , but not on the list of recommended food on Google ..

We booked here based on reviews, as we were on a weekend break to Weymouth. The reviews certainly reflected the experience we had, which was a great one! We mentioned to our Airbnb host that we'd booked here and she told us it was a popular place with the locals, which is always a good sign. Our waitress was funny, engaged and gave great service. That is really important as it's an intimate restaurant, so you want to feel relaxed. The waitress was great at giving recommendations. The menu had a great selection of seafood and meat dishes. The food we had was great quality and nicely presented. If you're looking for somewhere that serves tasty, fresh and wholesome food and you're willing to pay a bit more for it then this is the place for you. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, feels warm and cosy on an Autumn evening. Great experience, delicious food and a nice vibe! 10/10

A little bit of finery in the heart of Weymouth. Absolutely beautiful food, expertly cooked to perfection. We had the fillet steak which melted on your tongue and the panache of seafood in saffron sauce which was packed with flavour complimenting the delicate nature of the variety of fish. A Dorset selection of cheeses and the best chilli jam I've ever tasted. Fine wine, relaxed informal chats with the attentive waiting staff made for a fantastic evening. Stunning!! The food and service this evening was absolutely incredible, Iāve never had lamb so good (recommended by the most lovely staff) First time eating at Halls kitchen and we will definitely be back! From the warm and welcoming atmosphere to the impeccable service, it was a night to remember. The food was outstandingāfresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Truly wonderful food and wine! We really enjoyed ourselves and the staff were excellent. We came on a Friday night and there looked like there was space for walk ins so I would recommend trying if you haven't booked. We would definitely recommend and come back again!

Booked Bacaro for a private party in September 2024. Everything was excellent, from the location to the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble. A truly great place. Chloe the manager was awesome, and her and her staff made the whole event really special. Go to Bacaro, you won't be disappointed!

I had my works Christmas meal on Friday night. There was twenty people from our work, and the restaurant was packed to the rafters. The staff were helpful, friendly and delivered. The food was delicious and the service was prompt. I canāt praise them enough for their efforts on one of the busiest nights of the year. Well done to all the staff at the George. Absolutely stunning service! Staff so friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious! I had the Mac & Cheese for a starter (listed as a side), then the Squash ravioli for main. My partner had the vegan bean burger. Wait staff were so attentive and friendly, and the food was exactly how we wanted it - even better! Went in for a drink then ended up staying for dinner, steaks were cooked to perfection (Medium-rare) Chips although slightly small on portion were lovely an crunchy as well as soft/fluffy on the inside. Chicken avocado salad was lovely and fresh, sauces were nice and bursting with flavour. 10/10, blown away for a random stop in, very fair pricing. The atmopshere is really cool, something new to look at where ever your eyes end up and the quality of food is great. Very polite staff, nice and caring about your visit. Certainly will be back.

Absolutely loved dining here, it's fairly pricey (then again most food places in Weymouth are) but the quality of the food is amazing! Staff were very friendly and helpful, service was fabulous, and the place itself was lovely, definitely has a trendy feeling and very clean. 3 of us went for their breakfast at Ā£10.50 a head which was beautifully presented and super yummy! My daughter had the child's breaded chicken, beans and fries (Ā£7.10 if I remember correctly) which she also loved! Our food arrived fast, hot and none of us had any complaints at all. Would come back here in a flash and would recommend to anyone wanting a delicious meal š

Situated just by Weymouth Harbour, the small, cozy gazebo/terrace provided a delightful dining experience. The seafood was notably fresh, and the oysters, which stood out as the highlight of the meal, were exceptional. The fish and chips were well-prepared, boasting a perfectly crunchy exterior and tender interior. However, the lobster, although flavorful, was slightly overcooked. The scallops, unfortunately, were disappointingly tiny and lacked depth of flavor. We had a delicous time at The Hatch today, stopping for lunch on our way about town. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite of our crab, lobster, scallops, and padron peppers! Perfect seafood in a street food style. Table for two outside. Great menu balancing choice and simplicity. We had Scallops, half lobster, green beans and chips. Food quality was amazing. Atmosphere lovely by the harbour side on a busy sunny Sunday afternoon. We didnāt book so were lucky to catch a seat when we did. Service matched the street food vibe - pretty straightforward no airs and graces. Thereās no loos here but thatās no problem, thereās public toilets just round the corner. Place is attached to a fishmonger which is brilliantly stocked - we bought some great looking mackerel to take home and enjoy.

A spontaneous and delicious supper on the harbour at Hatch. Whole lobster, barbecued to perfection and served with a generous bowl of fresh and homemade chips, and a lovely leaf, mango and pomegranate salad, washed down with a beer and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Reasonably priced (Ā£30 for the lobster+chips+salad) and served with love and enthusiasm.

Stopped for a coffee and snack during a walk. It was a lovely sunny and warm September morning and we were lucky to get the only spare table outside. We had coffee and a lovely slice of homemade read pudding (which was especially scrummy). There was an Ironman race going on which added a bit of a spectacle to the visit. The cafƩ looks pretty and clean and the staff seemed to be greeting a few regulars which is always a good sign!

Fantastic food in a fantastic location served by ultra-friendly staff! Definitely a place to enjoy a āspecialā meal in Weymouth particularly as you are out of range of the smell of fish and chip shops!! We sat outside on a Tuesday lunchtime which was beautiful but not great for atmosphere. Great value for the quality of food served particularly the salmon trout speciality! Eating in England isn't exactly always a satisfactory experience... But at the Hamilton's you'll be sure to enjoy delicious food, with fine fish, preciously cooked vegetables accompanied with an excellent sauce which balances the overall composition, while contemplating the sea with a marvelous view. Just back from a fabulous 2 nights here. What a lovely place, would highly recommend to anyone thinking of going. We were made very welcome and the staff were so friendly. The food was lovely and my husband said especially the breakfast. I was on a one night walking break and feeling a little out of sorts. A lovely lady Hebe really looked after me and made me feel so welcome. I called in for a snack and coffee but booked a room. The amazing hospitality continued the next morning with delicious breakfast and Ellis really looked after me. Iāve only been away once on my own before and they really gave me confidence to do it again.

Weāve just returned from a wonderful two-night stay at The Smugglers Inn. On arrival, Lloyd greeted us and made us feel welcome instantly - before any money had even exchanged hands he made sure we were āfed and wateredā after our long drive. Nothing was too much effort for any of the staffā¦. Special mentions to Rafaela our waitress,Ella, and the bar-staff who really looked after us. The Sunday lunch was fantastic, great menu in general and a great breakfast spread! The room was spotless, cozy and well-equipped. It was my partners birthday and they went out of their way to make it special for him. We would definitely recommend staying here and we have already talked about returning one day. We have been into this place a few times while on holiday, and every time the food is spot on. You order at the bar, to one of the friendly staff. Food took around 15-20 minutes to come out, and it was very hot. I had the double cheese burger, which had a hint of spice in, and was amazing. We also had the chicken wings, Ham, egg and chips, a fish finger sandwich. It's not the cheapest of places, nor is it the most expensive. Would I go there again 100% would I recommend 100%.

It was a Friday night, so relatively busy but still managed to get served our drinks quickly and they continued to flow regularly.
