My sister and her husband had the coconut chicken dish which they thought was out of this world. Unusually for an Indian restaurant they served beef dishes. I had there speciality Kerala beef dish. It was excellent. The food was presented in a classy fashion which meant fine dining.

I had wanted to visit for some time, as had heard good things. My wife had cruely gone with friends several times before we got a chance to visit together. We popped in without a reservation on a Saturday night and thankfully could be accomodated. The staff were friendly helpful and attentive. We were advised that as the food was cooked to order it may take a while. The food came out quicker than expected and we were not disappointed. Delicious Indian flavours, seemed far more authentic than other Indian Restaurant I have visited.

Just back from a”ladies that lunch” event. We virtually had the place to ourselves which was fine as we were all busy chatting, but I do recommend it -don’t be put off it it seems empty. Waitress was very friendly and I can only speak for myself but my chicken coconut dish with coconut pancake was delicious. We hadn’t ordered starters but they brought us crackers, chutney and raita to keep us going as she warned us the roast chicken some had ordered would take 40 minutes. As far as I know everyone else was also very happy with their lunch and I will definitely be returning in the future with family

I just wanted to send you a personal note to say how professional, supportive and seamless you made what could have been a real headache for me and all your team. Everyone had a thoroughly brilliant time and a number one for me the food was absolutely delicious and left me with no food hangover a sure sign it was fresh, proper ingredients and no additives .. just pure beautiful food, well cooked, great recipes and great service. Absolutely fantastic night, food was amazing, I ordered a drink off the menu and they made it for me. Service was great and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and chilled. Not rushed through courses either which made it more enjoyable. Thoroughly recommend.

We came for the beautiful view whilst eating and to scope out the menu and ambience for a hopeful venue and private dining. I can honestly say we were blown away. The building outside isn't the best or overly inviting, however once inside it's very beautiful! The menu has great choices and a big note that they do gluten free pasta on request for a small extra charge! With coeliac parents this is a huge plus for future visits with them. Our food was just delicious and plentiful we had starters & mains, wanted desserts but nicely satisfied so instead asked for the bill, a very reasonable price for a wonderful meal. We had a quick show around the private rooms as they were busy but we were very impressed with everything, we can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!

Truly wonderful food and wine! We really enjoyed ourselves and the staff were excellent. We came on a Friday night and there looked like there was space for walk ins so I would recommend trying if you haven't booked. We would definitely recommend and come back again!

I visited Bacaro last night and I would highly recommend.. the service was great and the young girl who served us was very helpful. I would highly recommend the Seabass and king Prawn linguini… it is superb…

The restaurant is good, foods are nice, oyster is fresh. But price a bit high and space is small, only 6-7 tables available.

A spontaneous and delicious supper on the harbour at Hatch. Whole lobster, barbecued to perfection and served with a generous bowl of fresh and homemade chips, and a lovely leaf, mango and pomegranate salad, washed down with a beer and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Reasonably priced (£30 for the lobster+chips+salad) and served with love and enthusiasm.

We had a delicous time at The Hatch today, stopping for lunch on our way about town. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite of our crab, lobster, scallops, and padron peppers! The view across the harbour from our table was idyllic, and we received a warm welcome and friendly, attentive service from Anna. We'll be back for sure!

Perfect seafood in a street food style. Table for two outside. Great menu balancing choice and simplicity. We had Scallops, half lobster, green beans and chips. Food quality was amazing. Atmosphere lovely by the harbour side on a busy sunny Sunday afternoon. We didn’t book so were lucky to catch a seat when we did. Service matched the street food vibe - pretty straightforward no airs and graces. There’s no loos here but that’s no problem, there’s public toilets just round the corner. Place is attached to a fishmonger which is brilliantly stocked - we bought some great looking mackerel to take home and enjoy.

Beautiful restaurant with impeccable service. We felt very welcomed and the staff was extremely friendly and smiling. The food was exceptional. We had the duck breast, beef fillet, and pannacotta and treacle tart for dessert. 10/10 would visit again.

Stopped for a coffee and snack during a walk. It was a lovely sunny and warm September morning and we were lucky to get the only spare table outside. We had coffee and a lovely slice of homemade read pudding (which was especially scrummy). There was an Ironman race going on which added a bit of a spectacle to the visit. The café looks pretty and clean and the staff seemed to be greeting a few regulars which is always a good sign!

Fantastic food in a fantastic location served by ultra-friendly staff! Definitely a place to enjoy a ‘special’ meal in Weymouth particularly as you are out of range of the smell of fish and chip shops!! We sat outside on a Tuesday lunchtime which was beautiful but not great for atmosphere. Great value for the quality of food served particularly the salmon trout speciality! Will definitely be back on our next visit to Weymouth!

I was on a one night walking break and feeling a little out of sorts. A lovely lady Hebe really looked after me and made me feel so welcome. I called in for a snack and coffee but booked a room. The amazing hospitality continued the next morning with delicious breakfast and Ellis really looked after me. I’ve only been away once on my own before and they really gave me confidence to do it again.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful two-night stay at The Smugglers Inn. On arrival, Lloyd greeted us and made us feel welcome instantly - before any money had even exchanged hands he made sure we were ‘fed and watered’ after our long drive. Nothing was too much effort for any of the staff…. Special mentions to Rafaela our waitress,Ella, and the bar-staff who really looked after us. The Sunday lunch was fantastic, great menu in general and a great breakfast spread! The room was spotless, cozy and well-equipped. It was my partners birthday and they went out of their way to make it special for him. We would definitely recommend staying here and we have already talked about returning one day. The Sunday roast here is absolutely top-notch. The portions are generous, and the quality is superb. What really sets this pub apart, though, is the service. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. From the moment you walk in, you feel right at home. They’re attentive without being intrusive and always make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your meal. Karli served us today and Hebe greeted us. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hearty Sunday roast in a charming, welcoming setting!

Loved this quirky cafe/lounge, set in the old post office, in the centre of Weymouth. Food and drink available all day including breakfast items. Good service at this popular spot.

Went in for a drink then ended up staying for dinner, steaks were cooked to perfection (Medium-rare) Chips although slightly small on portion were lovely an crunchy as well as soft/fluffy on the inside. Chicken avocado salad was lovely and fresh, sauces were nice and bursting with flavour. 10/10, blown away for a random stop in, very fair pricing. The atmopshere is really cool, something new to look at where ever your eyes end up and the quality of food is great. Very polite staff, nice and caring about your visit. Certainly will be back.

One of the best breakfasts I've had. The Bacon and Hash Browns were delicious. Would also recommended the Cheese and Mozzarella Pannini. Very good customer service but It took a while to be served and we had to request sauces. A nice spot for lunch in Weymouth

Absolutely loved dining here, it's fairly pricey (then again most food places in Weymouth are) but the quality of the food is amazing! Staff were very friendly and helpful, service was fabulous, and the place itself was lovely, definitely has a trendy feeling and very clean. 3 of us went for their breakfast at £10.50 a head which was beautifully presented and super yummy! My daughter had the child's breaded chicken, beans and fries (£7.10 if I remember correctly) which she also loved! Our food arrived fast, hot and none of us had any complaints at all. Would come back here in a flash and would recommend to anyone wanting a delicious meal 😁

Nice place. Polite, helpful people. Order at the counter. No servers. I had fish and chips. The fish was overcooked and dry. The chips were warm. My son had the chicken pie which was ok. I had initially ordered the steak pie from the menu, but it was not available on the day. The dessert was very good. Monday the food prices are discounted by my

Good service and food. Not overly keen on people taking dogs in. Not to busy and had the added bonus of there being a discount on Monday.

We have been into this place a few times while on holiday, and every time the food is spot on. You order at the bar, to one of the friendly staff. Food took around 15-20 minutes to come out, and it was very hot. I had the double cheese burger, which had a hint of spice in, and was amazing. We also had the chicken wings, Ham, egg and chips, a fish finger sandwich. It's not the cheapest of places, nor is it the most expensive. Would I go there again 100% would I recommend 100%.

Over New Year we visited here on 3 occasions. Twice for drinks and a third to eat. The staff were excellent, so friendly and welcoming. I am a coeliac and theydealt with my needs well. We were a party of between 5 and 7 aged 52 to 80. Thank you very much for looking after us so well!

Nice pub. Plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the harbour and all the boats. Friendly staff, great service.

I had my works Christmas meal on Friday night. There was twenty people from our work, and the restaurant was packed to the rafters. The staff were helpful, friendly and delivered. The food was delicious and the service was prompt. I can’t praise them enough for their efforts on one of the busiest nights of the year. Well done to all the staff at the George. And have a happy Christmas.

Absolutely stunning service! Staff so friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious! I had the Mac & Cheese for a starter (listed as a side), then the Squash ravioli for main. My partner had the vegan bean burger. Wait staff were so attentive and friendly, and the food was exactly how we wanted it - even better! Sat by the window on a stormy day; fantastic views and smashing atmosphere. Would recommend any day of the week! Thank you, The George!
