Absolutely the best Audi VW specialist garage in the southwest of UK. I run a VW Transporter and they have carried out all types of work for me to a very high standard, on time and as cost effectively as possible. I have recieved better service at M-Tech than at a VW main service centre.

Would absolutely recommend this garage, everybody is really friendly. They were really accommodating with working on my car from a brand they normally don't work on and have a really comfy waiting area with plenty of offers of tea and coffee. A very fair price too.

My husbands work van broke down. Cockings said they would look at it and if we could get it to them in a day, which we did. Cockings did what they said they would looked at it and ordered the part for delivery. All the way along Will kept us updates as my husband already had the stress of hiring a van, so he didn't let any of his customers down. Cockings ordered the part and completed the repair. They also recommended a few other things which he decided best to take their advice. I have used this garage over the last few years for multiple cars. I would not take a car anywhere else in the area. I have used it for MOTs , repairs and servicing. They are very thorough and give clear instructions on work required and the reasons why. They always give regular updates on work being carried out and always made aware of pricing to expect. These guys really looked after us and were kind enough to help us out with a refund after our car unfortunately died after purchase. Very honest, fair, and apologetic. It's a shame about the car breaking down as they were excellent and the car was great and fairly priced, just one of those things. It's nice to know there are still honest people in the world who will look after you post sale if you have an issue.

Last Wednesday during I was attending my wife and sons grave at Caundle Marsh and unfortunately during the journey in the stormy conditions I must have hit a puddle with a pot hole and damaged my rear near side tyre hence a puncture. Being a in my mid 80's I did not relish the job of changing the tyre especially in the weather conditions, but Peter at the garage was on the job instantly and was so helpful and made me feel that he really wanted to help and i was very grateful more so as he refused any payment for the service. Very helpful and hopefully will resolve the issue with my car! Well it's a year on and this is an update! Following the temporary repairs to find out how much it would cost to fix, after paying for this and putting on hold these repairs as I could afford until I had taken the garage I bought the from from to court! The inspection after I had a positive outcome on the mot was to knock out some electrics that would then not pass an MOT! After a failed court case I was left with the burden of the full cost of £750..in my opinion this garage made things worse for me and my car and when ask if they could help with some of the cost they declined! So this is a second garage I would think twice about ever using again! Because they certainly didn't give a dam about the damage they caused while investigating the fault, which I paid them for!

We had an issue with our car on a Saturday morning on bank holiday weekend - Pete was amazing, very reassuring and friendly, and fixed the issue within 10 minutes!

Our car had broken down. Bayford motors didn’t know us but when we arrived they immediately sprung into action to see how they could help. They accurately diagnosed the faults and helped us to secure a taxi firm who could help with our onward journey. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we are so grateful for all that they did.

I’m posting this on behalf of my Mum & Stepfather (who are both into their 80’s). They recently ran into some trouble while visiting family in Somerset and dropped their car off at the nearest garage which was ‘Bayford Motors’. Despite being really busy the garage initially advised that they contact them the following day to see what the ETA would be to repair the car and were over the moon to be contacted the same evening to be told that an employee had stayed on after hours, having ordered and fitted new parts and resolved the issue. My step-father (who used to be involved in the car industry) cannot praise this company enough as well as the craftsmanship and customer service that he experienced. I cannot recommend this garage enough and thank them wholeheartedly for treating my family so well !
