My first time buying my own car as a student and I was so happy with the service James gave me. He was honest, helpful and genuine while providing informative and concise information. I bought a VW golf at the end of May and it’s been an absolute dream to own and it was handed over to me immaculately. From effortless paper work and even helping me sort out taxing my new car. I would definitely recommend and deal with Longburton cars again!

These guys really looked after us and were kind enough to help us out with a refund after our car unfortunately died after purchase. Very honest, fair, and apologetic. It's a shame about the car breaking down as they were excellent and the car was great and fairly priced, just one of those things. It's nice to know there are still honest people in the world who will look after you post sale if you have an issue.

Dropped a van off, very helpful with delivery

My work van suffered gearbox issues on a Friday afternoon. Andy got me back on the road by Monday afternoon. What a star. I have used this garage over the last few years for multiple cars. I would not take a car anywhere else in the area. I have used it for MOTs , repairs and servicing. They are very thorough and give clear instructions on work required and the reasons why. They always give regular updates on work being carried out and always made aware of pricing to expect. It is a garage I certainly trust and would highly recommend people to use. Thank you for the work you have carried out recently for my LR RR Evoque. You said a couple of weeks and that was absolutely fine with the amount of work required but smashed it in a week. It has certainly saved a lot of admin with trains ect. Thank you again.

Our car had broken down. Bayford motors didn’t know us but when we arrived they immediately sprung into action to see how they could help. They accurately diagnosed the faults and helped us to secure a taxi firm who could help with our onward journey. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we are so grateful for all that they did.

I’m posting this on behalf of my Mum & Stepfather (who are both into their 80’s). They recently ran into some trouble while visiting family in Somerset and dropped their car off at the nearest garage which was ‘Bayford Motors’. Despite being really busy the garage initially advised that they contact them the following day to see what the ETA would be to repair the car and were over the moon to be contacted the same evening to be told that an employee had stayed on after hours, having ordered and fitted new parts and resolved the issue. My step-father (who used to be involved in the car industry) cannot praise this company enough as well as the craftsmanship and customer service that he experienced. I cannot recommend this garage enough and thank them wholeheartedly for treating my family so well !

Great garage, I had a problem with the heating in my car. They diagnosed the fault which was a blockage in my heater matrix and were able to replace it and have my car back to me fully working very quickly. I will definitely be back and I fully recommend using this garage.

When my engine blew up Doug came straight out and assisted me in getting my car back home. He sourced a replacement engine and all the necessary parts needed and I trusted him to keep the cost as low as possible without compromising safety. I had my car back on the road in days and not a problem with it since. I would most definitely use Kds auto repair anytime I need assistance.

When my van wouldn't start I called Doug and he came and had a look the same day. He advised that I needed a new battery and alternator. He promptly advised the cost of the repair and two days later he carried out the work. Doug did a great job at a reasonable price and he was very efficient and helpful. I will definitely be using him again and I highly recommend him.

Doug came out and sorted my brakes in no time at all. Super professional and knowledgeable. He even spotted a problem my normal mechanic hadn’t and fixed that too! Great value and a great service. My go-to mechanic from this point!

Found myself in an urgent situation when my bumper fell off this morning, called Doug and he was with me within a couple of hours and managed to secure the bumper enabling me to not have the weekend plans ruined! Mini Countryman service and MOT carried out quickly and at a good price. Asked if I wanted a lift as I live the other side of town (which I didn't, but offering was nice). Friendly staff who were later happy to help (for free) with minor issue that arose in rear light casing.

Last Wednesday during I was attending my wife and sons grave at Caundle Marsh and unfortunately during the journey in the stormy conditions I must have hit a puddle with a pot hole and damaged my rear near side tyre hence a puncture. Being a in my mid 80's I did not relish the job of changing the tyre especially in the weather conditions, but Peter at the garage was on the job instantly and was so helpful and made me feel that he really wanted to help and i was very grateful more so as he refused any payment for the service. Very helpful and hopefully will resolve the issue with my car! Well it's a year on and this is an update! Following the temporary repairs to find out how much it would cost to fix, after paying for this and putting on hold these repairs as I could afford until I had taken the garage I bought the from from to court! The inspection after I had a positive outcome on the mot was to knock out some electrics that would then not pass an MOT! After a failed court case I was left with the burden of the full cost of £750..in my opinion this garage made things worse for me and my car and when ask if they could help with some of the cost they declined! So this is a second garage I would think twice about ever using again! Because they certainly didn't give a dam about the damage they caused while investigating the fault, which I paid them for!

They carried out a clutch replacement on my 2009 Audi A3 automatic and successfully diagnosed a noisy water pump, which saved me a fortune. Incredibly grateful to have found M-Tech. Absolutely the best Audi VW specialist garage in the southwest of UK. I run a VW Transporter and they have carried out all types of work for me to a very high standard, on time and as cost effectively as possible. I have recieved better service at M-Tech than at a VW main service centre.
