I cannot praise this team enough, I was on a long journey and my t5.1 vw auxiliary belt snapped, no charging and no p.a.s. I limped to cahill and despite having a full work load for the day, they rushed the new belt in and they fixed it immediately, so thankyou for a service that was above and beyond.

Excellent, would highly recommend these guys. We had just travelled down to the Owermoigne area towing a caravan when an engine management light came lit up on our Volvo V60. After a quick Google search Taylors Garage came up. We could see that they had good reviews and now know why. Although it was Friday evening and after closing time, we phoned anyway on the off chance. The phone was answered promptly and politely, after discussing the problem the owner apologised for not being able to look at it on Saturday as they are normally closed and had a previous commitment. Despite it being a busy Monday morning I was met on arrival, the problem was diagnosed swiftly and the warning light extinguished. Good honest service, thank you very much.

Have used MOT Stop many times now for both MOTs and general work required on my vehicle. The quality of service supplied, knowledge and professionalism of the mechanics and time to deliver is top tier. Nigel specifically was excellent when I used them recently to sort out an MOT and list of snags with my car. Provided a detailed quote up front and went above and beyond to complete what I needed around time constraints on my end.

The only garage where the staff actually listen to the customer! Thank you for 5* service, I would give you more stars if I could. I have had a problem with my car for 2 years and every garage I have taken it too has said there was no issues. MOT stop actually took my car out themselves instead of relying on machines to tell them otherwise and found it to be dangerous to drive. This issue was rectified with a couple of days. Pete and the team diagnosed and repaired my faulty ignition coil pack very quickly and at a fair price. I called on a Monday at 9am with a limping car, Pete had me in at 11, got straight on with the job with his colleague, and they diagnosed the problem in around 10 mins and were patient with me asking questions about it. He reassured me that this was certainly the problem and that he'd get the part and have it back on the road within hours, leaving me free to get back to some climbing in the meantime without worry. I was charged £170. Considering the part alone costs about £100 as far as I can tell, I'm very happy with that! Thanks very much Pete and co, your efficient service was a huge relief after a stressful weekend of car trouble.

Moved to portland last year and just had my second MOT with bowers garage. Very good service and very honest and well priced extremely hard to find all 3 these days ! Look forward to using them again in the future.

I used Crossways Garage for the first time today, coming in for an MOT. They were friendly, honest and did the work at the time agreed. I will be going to them first for any future work on my car.

We had a warning lights come on and they fitted us in to get us back on the road, they were very kind and accommodating.

My car broke down on side of the road in crossways due to clutch and my car wouldn’t move! Phoned up in morning asked if they could come get it and fix it and was picked up in an hour or so and fixed the next day in the morning! Wasn’t expensive and the men in there are all so lovely and understanding - even checked over my car ready for its MOT would definitely recommend-thank you so much!

I confess I didn't even know this garage existed until it was recommended to me by the RAC mechanic. Oh my goodness! I could not be happier with the service I received. It was good old fashioned service. Dave and his team worked above and beyond my expectations. Although it was a Friday, they managed to fit in my car repair, (which wasn't a quick job), at short notice which meant them working beyond closing time. As they said, 'Most people need their car over the weekend so we do our best to ensure they're repaired in time', even if that means they finish late on a Friday. Every team member I met was pleasant and polite and everything they needed to do to my car was fully explained in plain english, (for those of us who are not mechanically minded). I won't be using any other garage in the future. This is the one for me and I have already begun recommending them to my family, friends and colleagues at work, and now I'm recommending them to you, who can find the time to read this

Service over and beyond the call of duty, they saw me at short notice and helped me out with a fault when l was away from home. People like this (l didn't catch the gentleman's name) restore your faith in human nature. Top marks all round.

Total lifesavers! Van was out of action with a serious coolant leak in an inaccessible place (needed hours of stripping back to reach it). A truly excellent garage with old school attitudes to customers and vehicle repairs, where customers count and if it can be repaired over replaced it will be at reasonable cost. No, it's not all chrome and glass, but you will be happy with the service.

Had my car here for a clutch change and what can I say, absolutely amazing job done by this garage.
