24 hours ago, (1pm Thursday) whilst stopped at a red light in Tesco's, Cinderford, our alternator decided to die! We rang TWC and asked if they could possibly slot is in at short notice. Initially it didn't look good as they were full. We were in a dire situation as we're down here on holiday and heading back to Scotland on the Saturday! However, somehow they managed to shuffle things about to help us out, and told us to bring it in. It took our recovery service ages to get us lifted and back to 'home base'. Thankfully they were still open and we managed to drop it off for them to have a look at today. Long story cut short, they found us the correct part and less than 24hours after we dropped the car off, we were collecting it again fully fixed. That's the short version. The long version involved several calls to the garage on the day to update them, as well as them moving things around to help us out.... essentially, I gave them a right old run around!! The team were incredibly helpful, and nothing seemed to phase them at all. Can't thank you all enough for the excellent job that you did, and at a price I would say was very reasonable!! Thank you guys for going that extra mile, you put us right at ease and were great to deal with. Brilliant garage, Toby’s knowledge and workmanship sets this garage apart from a lot in the Cotswolds. Used many services here from MOT’s to repairs and services. Work is done efficiently and effectively. Always friendly and explains issues that he feels may need attention. Upfront with pricing which is also very fair. Very trustworthy and excellent service. Last Wednesday during I was attending my wife and sons grave at Caundle Marsh and unfortunately during the journey in the stormy conditions I must have hit a puddle with a pot hole and damaged my rear near side tyre hence a puncture. Being a in my mid 80's I did not relish the job of changing the tyre especially in the weather conditions, but Peter at the garage was on the job instantly and was so helpful and made me feel that he really wanted to help and i was very grateful more so as he refused any payment for the service. We brought our campervan to C&A for its yearly servicing. Making an appointment was a breeze, and the girl on the phone was super polite and helpful. The garage is big and spotless. Having taken out the campervan only a couple of times since its last service, the guys at C&A suggested — after a thorough check-up — that the van needed just a small service. This was much appreciated. In addition, I needed to do some work while waiting in the customer reception area; the receptionist kindly shared their wifi details and I was able to do my work. All in all, a great experience and top work at great value. We will be back for sure!

Being new to the area, my car service/MOT was up for renewal. I was called during the day as there was a 'fail' and they checked with me if I was happy to have the repair done. Very friendly garage, rang to book my car in for the alignment to be adjusted. Phone was answered quickly by the receptionist who booked me in for the following morning even though they were busy. Car was straight on the 4 wheel laser alignment ramp at 8.30am Adjusted to spec very quickly and efficiently and back out on the road by 9am!! Car is driving so much better for it and now I know my tyres will last longer. Great job and will definitely use you again!!

Broke down last night and couldn’t find an available garage in the area. However a friend of mine recommended The Garage and they managed to squeeze me in today and fixed the car. I’m really impressed with this garage as there was a mess up with dates with the hire car company which could have left me high and dry. Thank you and will return in the future.

M-tec have looked after our Audi and two VW’s for several years and their personal service is second to none. Their knowledge and experience should give all nervous customers confidence and they will always find the most cost effective solution. They are the reason we keep buying German cars so that they can look after them for us. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Outstanding service and exceptional value for money. 8-year-old VW Tiguan needed rear diff replacement. Personally recommended by a local non-VW garage to contact Nick – who did not disappoint. A VW main dealership would have charged circa £7,000 for the job with a brand-new rear diff. Nick went out of his way to source a reliable second-hand diff @ £1,000 which was fitted yesterday. Excellent communication too on progress to source the diff. Total bill for fitting diff, Haldex service, MOT and sorting out pan roof drain tube came to circa £1,500 + VAT. Brilliant job by Nick and his exceptional team; thank you. It was a joy to talk direct to experts who pride themselves on exemplary customer service and honest advice. I can’t recommend NL Motor Services more highly.

The team there are brilliant with advice and always try to accommodate my complex diary. Most recently making a real effort to diagnose a fault immediately and then repair as soon as they could. Can't fault them, I will continue to use although I hope I don't need to until my next MOT/Service!

Great lads, excellent service. Took my second car here after a recent bad experience with another garage and I have to say that these guys were the total opposite. Couldn’t do enough to help me understand what was going on and at no point did I feel they were talking down to me. Both the MOT and the later service were conducted smoothly and everything was communicated superbly with no feeling that I would not understand any issues. Good and honest pricing too. Great people. They have gained a permanent customer, and I have also recommended to my friends and family to use them. Can be a bit crowded in their parking area though.

I cannot recommend this company enough - they do everything they can to help you stay on the road, and honestly, 5 stars just doesn't do them justice!
