This service has been run by Jonathan for 37 years now! He is courteous, helpful, and proficient. And If you call him he will endeavour to talk through with you any issues you may have, which could well save you money!! I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending Southern Electrics!!

Needed an emergency call out. Got home on Sunday evening to realise I had no power on my sockets in my house, did all the usual checks on the RCD, I couldn't figure out what was causing it, but our house had been rewired only 4 years ago (not by southern electrical services) but didn't think there would be a problem. Gave Jonathan a call. He was very good at problem solving over the phone to see if we could shortlist it to a number of issues, in the end we determined we needed him to come over and look. He was very pragmatic took care around the home, explained the reasons behind the outage, which was traced back to a fault in the wiring in the wall which we would never have found ourselves in a million years. He managed to isolate it and get us back on so we can run the household without the need for the one plug that was causing us the issue... Relief! I'd highly recommend Jonathan, did a great job. Very pleased.

Really pleased with the work carried out to install 2 x extractors and a PIV unit. The work was much more involved than first thought, and the poor guy was working in our loft on the hottest day of the year! But he returned a second day to finish up and the original price was honoured. A pleasure having you in our home and feeling the benefits of the extractors and PIV as soon as they were turned on!

We brought a house with 12 solar panels just over a month ago. We knew the panels were not serviced or cleaned since installed 10 years ago (2013) We reached out to DES Ltd who completed a full service and cleaning service. We had our home EV charger fitted by D.E. Scott Electrical. Here's the summary if you don't want to read the rest: Good customer care, on time, polite and patient. Long story short, without anyone's fault, we had a frustrating problem that turned into a bit of a wait with a refund from their supplier as the main objective. John proved to be professional and patient, even when I was trowing a strop. From email responses to suppliers phone calls and home visits, he did it all. In the end, taking a leaf from his book, I decided to chill and let him deal with the situation for us as he's proven to be patient and capable so far. In other words: "Calm down, be patient, let us deal with this and we'll get it sorted" kind of vibe I got from their team. Great! Admittedly, it took a while for everything to be sorted out, but it's done now. Happy days! I'd rather deal with a company that willl work for me, even having to wait for a while, than with another that just takes my money with no customer care. Thanks again DE Scott, enjoy your coffee guys! ☺️
