John did an EICR for insurance of my thatched house. He was thoroughly professional and helpful and his very detailed report was received by email late the same evening. I have no hesitation in recommending him for electrical work, and I plan to use him if and when I need any new installation.

I have John on several occasions now and in each case the work has been excellent even going beyond the original scope of work on one occasion making a bad installation safe. All of this for what I consider a very reasonable price,highly recommended.

A job well done. We are very happy to recommend Joe Newton Ltd. for plumbing and electrical work, especially as they did a very clean job, with no mess to clear up.

Joe and his colleagues did the electrical work and plumbing on our houses renovation. The electrical work carried out (mainly) by Aaron and his trusty assistant Billy is superb. Aaron is extremely methodical in his approach and it shows with the end result. We also had a mini wet room built. The end result is stunning. The tiling and the tanking beneath the tiling was done to an extremely high standard. The tiler Steve is a lovely chap and again, extremely methodical in his approach. Towards the end of the project the final bits of plumbing were completed by plumber Aaron and John. Again the work was to a high standard and it was a pleasure having them in our home. We've been super-happy with Joe and his colleagues. Highly recommended. We discoevered Joe through a previous small job at our colttage where they were sub-contracted by our builder. This week, they replaced a whole lot of ageing night-storage heaters with modern, programmable radiators at our rather old and crumbly cottage in Dorset. Joe gave great advice, answering every email really quickly. We were away when they did the job over a couple of days. We returned to find everything completed absolutely perfectly. The cabling from our meter was rewired as needed. Everything just right. New radiators installed, firmly fixed to our walls of various weird and historic materials. Other than the radiators being installed, we wouldn't have known they'd been here! The heavy old contraptions full of grime and bricks had been dismantled and taken away without any fuss, or dust. Through no fault of theirs, one of the new radiators had a little fault. They responded instantly and had sourced and installed a new one within 24 hours. Unbelievable! Everything friendly, cheerful, efficient, responsive and charged exactly the price agreed in advance. We are very happy (and warm!) bunnies indeed. Thank you Joe and Mark! Leigh and Bruce are a great team. After some initial testing we agreed a full rewire was required and they were very accommodating to our requests and requirements. They are responsive, work well and tidy up after themselves! We have no hesitation in recommending them for any of your electrical work.

Leigh and his great team came in and got the job sorted, as we agreed. I like Leigh approach, no fuss. They moved my broadband (finally I get a real signal around the house) wired-in out building to fuse board, got sockets, lighting and networking finally sorted out for me and did a full check across the board. I can finally move things on! Thank you guys.

Bruce arrived promptly to fit my new bathroom light, he quickly realised there was a problem with the pull switch itself and luckily found one in his van. He fitted both the light and switch efficiently and safely, tidying up afterwards. He is a very polite, helpful and friendly person and I would recommend him as an electrician :)

I had an issue with my electric sockets in my house which happened over night and I was having an issue to find the cause/source for the problem. After long day at work it was challenge to get some one to come around to fix. I "googled" found this SES LTD. When called spoken to Jonathan who patiently listened to my story and explanation of events and what I tried so far. He kindly gave me some further guidance and advice what else to try and after 2 more calls over the next 20 min we found the cause. Jonathan does not know me and I didn't know him, however he treated me like he is just a friend who would happily to help out when needed. He didn't even ask for money. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Always been delighted with the work from Dorset Electrical. Our house isn't easy at times, with lathe and plaster walls Mark, our regular electrician has always managed to find a way to do the job neatly and in good time.

Carl and his apprentice came out today to fix a problem with the bathroom lights. Not only did they fix the issue quickly but then checked the other lights for issues. They were smart, tidy and even hoovered up a a little bit of dust that was generated. Would definitely recommend
