Recently Nick rewired much of my garage and reset a water heater. He worked quickly and thoroughly, and reconfigured the garage lighting and wiring during a morning. The work was completed to an excellent standard. He is a friendly, pleasant person. I strongly recommend him.

We recently had an electrical fault directly after the recent storm. We gave Nick a call, but because of his current commitments was unable to come out to us. We were astonished though that NICK phoned and talked through the problem giving suggestions on what might be the cause. With Nicks help we were able to solve the problem and find the fault.

I had a podpoint EV charger installed, Lily arranged the installation and even moved jobs around to make the installation time convenient to fit my working hours. Alex and Harvey performed the installation very neatly, they were punctual, efficient and made things stress free! We had our car charger fitted by the owner of the company, John. I have to say it is not often I have work done and can find no fault with it, but the installation is excellent. It is a very neat job and John was very courteous and professional and I will certainly look to use him again whether at home or for business.

We changed the missmatched under cupboard and dodgy cooker hood lights. Stuart has changed halogen to LED so that they are all the same, and replaced broken ones. In the process he discovered that the extractor hose outlet had been bodged. The sticky tape (!) had disintegrated. He went back to the wholesaler to get the right sized reducer. Such a nice man. He is the first ‘leccy’ that has actually taken the trouble to find out why stuff wasn’t working. Everything is now safe, working as it should, and the lights are all the same colour! A very pleasant change from the previous numpties! Definitely a keeper. Thank you Grays. PS Can’t comment on ‘value’ as we haven’t had the bill yet but we will be delighted whatever it is!

Definitely would recommend this company. My kitchen light blew and fused the wires and had to have it all replaced,justin came out in short noticed and got my lighting working again.

I was having some shelves made. I popped out and when I returned the carpenter frantically advised me that all of the downstairs sockets had stopped working. This included the kitchen, with a fridge full of food. I rang P.N Gray at 15:00. I left a message and Michael returned my call immediately. He said that he would send Stewart McIntyre. Stewart arrived quickly. Within 15 minutes he had established what the problem was. He repaired it instantly, restoring power to the kitchen before the milk had even started to get warm. I cannot begin to say how excellent P. N. Gray is. This is the second time that they have responded quickly to my electrical problems - the previous incident was related to a faulty smoke alarm sensor. Michael is cordial and responsive, and Stewart was efficient and professional. He was even thoughtful of the carpenter's embarrassment. I would highly recommend P.N Gray for your electrical needs.

Stu and Kevin were brilliant. The work wasn't easy but they completed everything even though it took more than one visit! Everything was professional, neat and tidy. Can't fault the work. Would recommend the company to everyone. They went above and beyond. Very good value as well!

During a recent storm, I had a full power outage. Ricky responded quickly and came out to fix the problem. He was professional and nothing was too much trouble despite it being late on a Saturday night. I cannot recommend him and the company enough.

Whilst I was away on holiday I rang Ricky Stubbs (owner/ partner) he not only arranged the work to be done, he was there unbelievably quick and turned up when he said and completed the work to an excellent standard. The client even told me of her gratitude and was very glad to have the issues sorted so promptly. I will be using Chris Stubbs and son again for sure. Very reliable and friendly.

An absolutely outstanding service from Chris and his two electricians. They worked on our house when we were away completing the tasks in the time that was arranged. How they managed to run wires/cables on coving and behind skirting boards was a marvel. They put all the furniture back in its place and left us with no mess to tidy up. We were expecting to have to plaster and decorate however this was not necessary. The two electricians who carried out the job even looked after our cat in our absence. Very highly recommended. Left a message and received call within minutes (none of the other companies returned my calls) Problem dealt with efficiently and professionally. I rang this Company on Weds.27th March 24, due to having only 2 of 6 Halogen spotlights working in my kitchen for the past few months. All a bit dark! Coral assured me of having help quickly, with Matthew arriving promptly the next morning in absolutely dreadful weather. He checked the wiring, which was working and suggested changing to LED bulbs, giving me the option of staying with Halogen. I chose to change, and Matthew then offered to go and buy them. He was quite quick, and set about replacing the bulbs. I was amazed at his efficiency, as some of the fittings were tight. Once done, he offered to change the attic non-working bulb as well. This whole procedure was done without fuss or bother, and Matthew was polite, professional and personable throughout. My kitchen now resembles the Bahamas... and is amazing...Thank you so much for a super duper job and workman. M.H.W.

I cant recommend TGM electrical enough. They have done a fantastic job wiring up my garden office previously and have used them again today to move a double socket. They are always punctual , friendly and tidy. No job is to great or to small form them. Highly recommended .

We've been super-happy with Joe and his colleagues. Highly recommended. We discoevered Joe through a previous small job at our colttage where they were sub-contracted by our builder. This week, they replaced a whole lot of ageing night-storage heaters with modern, programmable radiators at our rather old and crumbly cottage in Dorset. Joe gave great advice, answering every email really quickly. We were away when they did the job over a couple of days. We returned to find everything completed absolutely perfectly. The cabling from our meter was rewired as needed. Everything just right. New radiators installed, firmly fixed to our walls of various weird and historic materials. Other than the radiators being installed, we wouldn't have known they'd been here! The heavy old contraptions full of grime and bricks had been dismantled and taken away without any fuss, or dust. Through no fault of theirs, one of the new radiators had a little fault. They responded instantly and had sourced and installed a new one within 24 hours. Unbelievable! Joe and his colleagues did the electrical work and plumbing on our houses renovation. The electrical work carried out (mainly) by Aaron and his trusty assistant Billy is superb. Aaron is extremely methodical in his approach and it shows with the end result. We also had a mini wet room built. The end result is stunning. The tiling and the tanking beneath the tiling was done to an extremely high standard. The tiler Steve is a lovely chap and again, extremely methodical in his approach. Towards the end of the project the final bits of plumbing were completed by plumber Aaron and John. Again the work was to a high standard and it was a pleasure having them in our home. We would definitely recommend using Joe and his team and we will be next spring for the other bathroom to be renovated. Thanks Joe and team. Andy and Lisa. I have been considering creating an en suite shower room and effecting some external works at my property but was somewhat daunted by managing a project. Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating Services and James Newsam Construction were recommended by neighbours. Joe and James, who often work in collaboration, came to assess what was required and quote a week after contact. Options were discussed, sensible advice given and a detailed quote and anticipated start date followed shortly thereafter. The Project commenced on the agreed start date with a team of professional, pleasant, experienced, local trades arriving one after the other! all were well-briefed, hard working and consulted me in relation to any decisions (style of doors, placement of switches etc) as necessary. Joe managed the sequence of events entirely for all the electrical and plumbing work, which was completed to a very high standard. I am delighted with my new En Suite Shower Room, it is spacious, practical and stylish and will doubtless add value to my property. David was prompt efficient and very proffesional. Completed work quickly and good value for money.

Needed somebody to sort a problem in a hurry (lost power to the garage where the oil boiler is located). Contacted Hastings Electrical after 9 pm on Friday and Dave was with us by 9:30 am next day. Problem was sorted by 11.
