Jane has tutored 2 of my children for the 11+ grammar school exams and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Both of my children lacked confidence in their ability and Jane made the lessons fun and something they both looked forward to. When it came to the exams both children were excited to be able to show what they could achieve - she taught them how to cope with the pressure, exam techniques as well as helping to strengthen their ability in math and english - both sailed through the 11+ and have continued to do well after such a fantastic grounding. I have already signed Jane up to help my youngest child when the time arrives. Jane is honest, incredibly diligent and genuinely cares deeply for the children she works with.

Jane tutored my Daughters when they needed extra support in Maths/English and 11+ tutoring, they loved visiting her each week and enjoyed the varied sessions. My child was 2 years behind in maths at school. We had never heard of Kumon but an educational psychologist recommended trying it. Since starting we have not looked back. Just over 1 year later school have noticed a huge improvement and now mark my child as working at the level in maths. Our child’s confidence has improved as a result. The Kumon system works by doing a small amount everyday and gradually builds incrementally upon the maths skills they are secure in. We need to support our child with the books but becomes part of routine about 20 - 30 minutes each day. The twice a week lessons keep us on track and we can ask for help if we are getting stuck on anything at these. The tutors are great and take the time to explain to us how they teach concepts so we give the same messaging at home. The lessons and course continue over the holidays which has really helped our child to catch up. We are so pleased we have now started the English tutoring in addition. This is supporting our child being secure in fundamentals of English. Thank you we are so lucky to have found you !

I contacted Anne around 6 months before the GCSE exams. Anne gladly accommodated my twin daughters together in one session and nearer to exam time, at our request, individually. We are very happy with the tuition our daughter got from Richard last year. His lessons are tailored to every child's need; increasing in difficulty as the child progresses. Richard will spend extra time with a particular child if he/she needs extra help. I can’t recommend Matt more highly. We signed up for maths tutoring with Matt fairly late in the year, with only about 6 weeks until the exams were to begin; mainly because our son was really struggling with confidence about his maths. The pressure to pass was making revision seem totally overwhelming. Matt was such a fantastic tutor. Not only did he help to make sense of the areas of maths which were a struggle, but he also subtly coached our son to have a positive mindset. I had never heard of 11 plus before speaking to a very friendly gentleman named Peter. My son gets extremely anxious around change and wanted to sit the 11 plus but was late to the party. He ended up doing the mock exams and intense workshops during the summer. He sat the 11 plus and achieved a high enough score to apply for both schools. Now I can honestly say he would not have even completed the exam had it not been for Pete and Franny. They didn’t just put me at ease but more importantly my son felt comfortable and at ease. I thought it was going to be hard to get him to go and learn in the summer but he enjoyed it and the way it was all taught. Our son has been on his learning journey with Jerome since year 3 when we noticed our child was starting to become disinterested & limited in what was being provided in his classroom.
