My son's reading ability and confidence have both really improved since he started having sessions with Emily. Emily is hugely supportive and my son really enjoys his time with her. I can't recommend Emily enough if you are looking to support your child's reading and writing.

My daughter missed out on lots of school through covid and was falling behind, she had anxiety about any after school activities but Emily is so caring, softly spoken she really connected with Jessica and now Jessica would prefer learning with Emily then going to school. Jessica's Maths and English has improved and hwr confidence has grown. We cant recommend Emily enough.

Taking our daughter to Emily is best decision we have made for her. Emily clearly loves her job and that shows in everything she does. My 16 year old had missed 6 months of year 10 and was struggling in the run up to his GCSE's, with no extra support available. We engaged Alison (Maths) and Tracy (English Literature) at a very late stage for online tutoring, following a recommendation by a friend. They were both excellent and my son engaged really well with his weekly sessions. He was able to catch up on topics that he had missed and his confidence increased no end. I would highly recommend Jurassic Tutors, they exceeded my expectations and are also reasonably priced.

We approached Jurassic Coast Tutors for extra support as my daughter approached GCSE’s focussing on English Language. We were matched with Tracy who was able to provide 1:1 support, in our home. Sessions were planned around our daughters needs and our budget. Payments was easy and automatic. I cannot recommend Tracy and Jurassic Cost tutors enough. Grades have gone from a mock result of grade 1 at the end of year 10, to a grade 6 in actual results, it’s life changing. Thank you

Alison at Jurassic Coast Tutoring was just brilliant. It was a last minute request for tutoring only 10 weeks before her exams and Alison managed to fit my daughter in at a suitable time. Alison made my daughter feel at ease, checked in on her prior to each lesson, provided suitable and relevant materials for her to practice throughout the week (as requested by me!) and my Daughter passed! My daughter has always struggled with maths from a young age. From meeting Matt he was keen to understand the difficulties my daughter had within maths and focused on building back her confidence. I can’t recommend Matt more highly. We signed up for maths tutoring with Matt fairly late in the year, with only about 6 weeks until the exams were to begin; mainly because our son was really struggling with confidence about his maths. The pressure to pass was making revision seem totally overwhelming. Matt was such a fantastic tutor. Not only did he help to make sense of the areas of maths which were a struggle, but he also subtly coached our son to have a positive mindset. Having been hugely reluctant to begin his tutoring, he very quickly looked forward to the sessions and came away like a different person - much less stressed, and confident to tackle his exams. We are hugely grateful for the support!

My daughter has just finished her GCSE exams. She had maths tuition with Matt from February to the final paper last week. Due to weekly tuition with Matt we saw a considerable improvement in her overall ability, with a grade increase for her mocks in March. Matt makes his students feel relaxed about getting things wrong, does not pressure them and gets the best out of them. My daughter actually enjoyed the sessions, which is a first for her math's journey. Thank you Matt! I do not hesitate to recommend Matt to anybody looking for a Maths Tutor for their children.

Well she helped my son pass Maths GCSE. He was written off at year 6 but by year 12 he's proving those people wrong! Katie has an unbelievable way of working out children and helping them learn! I used Tutor Doctor to help my daughter with her A-level chemistry. She needed to improve her grade with just 6 weeks to go until her mock exams. She had 9 hours of tuition and managed to get her grade from E/D up to a B which she was really pleased about. We will use this again next year as her final exams approach. We are very happy with the tuition our daughter got from Richard last year. His lessons are tailored to every child's need; increasing in difficulty as the child progresses. Richard will spend extra time with a particular child if he/she needs extra help. Towards the end, the homework our daughter would get from Richard got harder, therefore our daughter found grammar school test not as hard and passed it easily. When our other daughter and son are old enough, we would happily send them to Richard for extra tuition. Linda and Alfred.
