Jane tutored both my sons from years 4-6 and I would highly recommend her. She is calm, professional & organised and excelled in developing the boys’ confidence. I was impressed by her understanding of the different personality and needs of my children and her ability to individualise her teaching to suit the child. The boys looked forward to and enjoyed their weekly sessions with Jane and I cannot thank her enough for the confidence and grounding that she gave them.

Jane has tutored 2 of my children for the 11+ grammar school exams and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Both of my children lacked confidence in their ability and Jane made the lessons fun and something they both looked forward to. When it came to the exams both children were excited to be able to show what they could achieve - she taught them how to cope with the pressure, exam techniques as well as helping to strengthen their ability in math and english - both sailed through the 11+ and have continued to do well after such a fantastic grounding. I have already signed Jane up to help my youngest child when the time arrives. Jane is honest, incredibly diligent and genuinely cares deeply for the children she works with.

My daughter has just finished her GCSE exams. She had maths tuition with Matt from February to the final paper last week. Due to weekly tuition with Matt we saw a considerable improvement in her overall ability, with a grade increase for her mocks in March. What can i say, I feel we have found the perfect tutor. Maths GCSE Chess Physics We had been struggling with our year 6 son for a couple of years as he has a natural aptitude for mathematics and was not getting any challenge from school and disengaging. After talking with numerous tutors i found Tim and had the most positive engaging conversation and his passion was unbelievable. I had never heard of 11 plus before speaking to a very friendly gentleman named Peter. My son gets extremely anxious around change and wanted to sit the 11 plus but was late to the party. He ended up doing the mock exams and intense workshops during the summer. He sat the 11 plus and achieved a high enough score to apply for both schools. Now I can honestly say he would not have even completed the exam had it not been for Pete and Franny. They didn’t just put me at ease but more importantly my son felt comfortable and at ease. I thought it was going to be hard to get him to go and learn in the summer but he enjoyed it and the way it was all taught. Both of our children attend KipMcGrath Midsomer Norton. Emily was unable to read at home before starting Kip, she struggled with word recognition and reading at home became difficult. Within a very short time, Emily gained the confidence to read her school books at home, word recognition became manageable and Emily can’t wait to get on to the next reading book. My son only started in September after my concerns with his spelling, although he passed the kip assessment and was at his age for his English subjects. Within 4 weeks, he understood spelling rules and was able to successfully pass his weekly spelling tests and his writing has become more accurate and less phonetic. My daughter really struggled with confidence at school and was always slightly dropping behind. Since starting Kip McGrath she’s so much more confident. After the initial assessment they instantly recognised she may be dyslexic which lead us to do testing and it came back that yes is is indeed dyslexic. She’s now doing amazing, her reading is more fluent and her spelling and comprehension have excelled and now amazing her teachers at school. What a wonderful tutor! Full of enthusiasm and energy. He is a natural and passionate teacher explaining complex mathematical formula in a simple language that was set just right for my child. He was incredibly knowledgeable and up to date with the curriculum and content of different exam boards. He would always give 100% in each and every session. Leaving homework and tailoring each session to the students requirements. We had sessions once a fortnight to facilitate our budget which Damian was more than happy to accommodate. Nothing was ever too much trouble. An incredible tutor who I would always feel comfortable with in our home!
