We couldn’t be more grateful to Pete and Franny for their exceptional support in helping our son prepare for the 11+ exam. He began attending their weekly hubs in the September of Year 5 and also participated in their mock tests and intensive coaching sessions during the holidays. Pete and Franny make a fantastic team, and from the very first session, our son was fully engaged and found the lessons both interesting and enjoyable. As parents, having their expertise was incredibly reassuring. They not only helped our son learn a huge amount—leading to a high score on the exam—but also put him in an excellent position for Year 6. His confidence has grown enormously, and we’ve seen him flourish academically and emotionally throughout this process. The entire experience was overwhelmingly positive. Pete and Franny were there for our son and our family every step of the way, providing emotional support as well as academic guidance. It’s a lot for young children to handle, but they made the journey manageable and even enjoyable. I had never heard of 11 plus before speaking to a very friendly gentleman named Peter. My son gets extremely anxious around change and wanted to sit the 11 plus but was late to the party. He ended up doing the mock exams and intense workshops during the summer. He sat the 11 plus and achieved a high enough score to apply for both schools. Now I can honestly say he would not have even completed the exam had it not been for Pete and Franny. They didn’t just put me at ease but more importantly my son felt comfortable and at ease. I thought it was going to be hard to get him to go and learn in the summer but he enjoyed it and the way it was all taught. My two boys have both been taught by Peter and Franny. The weekly hub lessons really improved their confidence and gave them tactics for tackling questions. We are very happy with the tuition our daughter got from Richard last year. His lessons are tailored to every child's need; increasing in difficulty as the child progresses. Richard will spend extra time with a particular child if he/she needs extra help. Towards the end, the homework our daughter would get from Richard got harder, therefore our daughter found grammar school test not as hard and passed it easily. When our other daughter and son are old enough, we would happily send them to Richard for extra tuition. Linda and Alfred.

Jane has been tutoring my son and helping him with his maths and he has already made great progress in his learning in a short time. His confidence has improved and he is benefitting enormously from the one to one tuition and his time with Jane - her lovely approach and patience has had a great impact. Jane has tutored 2 of my children for the 11+ grammar school exams and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Both of my children lacked confidence in their ability and Jane made the lessons fun and something they both looked forward to. When it came to the exams both children were excited to be able to show what they could achieve - she taught them how to cope with the pressure, exam techniques as well as helping to strengthen their ability in math and english - both sailed through the 11+ and have continued to do well after such a fantastic grounding. I have already signed Jane up to help my youngest child when the time arrives. Jane is honest, incredibly diligent and genuinely cares deeply for the children she works with.

My husband and I have used Jerome for a number of years, first when our daughter was in middle school for assistance with maths. Our daughter was achieving well in all other subjects but Jerome’s tutoring not only placed her in top sets, but we saw a complete change in her mood and confidence. She no longer dreaded days where she had maths lessons and Jerome assisted in her transfer to senior school where she would often return so happy that, “ she knew what the teacher was talking about before they taught the lesson." Jerome recently helped my son with studying for the 11+ exam. My son loved the sessions, he thought Jerome explained thing's clearly, and looked forward to the sessions. I contacted Anne around 6 months before the GCSE exams. Anne gladly accommodated my twin daughters together in one session and nearer to exam time, at our request, individually. Both my girls lacked confidence in Maths and needed a boost to help improve their borderline grades. Anne worked solidly with the girls each session, and they quickly enjoyed attending, working on specific areas of difficulties and then past exam papers.
