Barney has been an incredible tutor over the past year! During my A-Levels he has helped me to achieve a grade A in Maths and as a result I am now studying at Exeter University. One thing that separated him from other tutors which helped immensely, was his his willingness to help outside of our tutor hour. I was able to ask him questions from work he had set me or any other problems I was stuck on and he would get back to me quickly with an explanation, saving me time rather than waiting until our next session.

Barney is an excellent maths tutor. He is very knowledgeable and can answer and explain any question straight away. He is very organised knows the syllabus and how to attack it. He is also very patient and able to motivate his students. We were lucky enough to have Barney tutor my daughter with her A Level maths which we are both very grateful to him for all his help.

I had never heard of 11 plus before speaking to a very friendly gentleman named Peter. My son gets extremely anxious around change and wanted to sit the 11 plus but was late to the party. He ended up doing the mock exams and intense workshops during the summer. He sat the 11 plus and achieved a high enough score to apply for both schools. Now I can honestly say he would not have even completed the exam had it not been for Pete and Franny. They didn’t just put me at ease but more importantly my son felt comfortable and at ease. I thought it was going to be hard to get him to go and learn in the summer but he enjoyed it and the way it was all taught. I can’t recommend Matt more highly. We signed up for maths tutoring with Matt fairly late in the year, with only about 6 weeks until the exams were to begin; mainly because our son was really struggling with confidence about his maths. The pressure to pass was making revision seem totally overwhelming. Matt was such a fantastic tutor. Cate is an excellent teacher for adults: patient, unpatronising, lively and witty. I have been having Spanish lessons with her for a few months and have made remarkable progress considering I started from scratch. The material she provides and way we are progressing is just right for an adult learner who comes at the learning in fits and bursts.
