Jonny has done a fantastic job fitting dado rail and wall panelling in my flat. He is very skillful and professional, he has gone above and beyond and the outcome is far better than I could have expected. Jonny fitted nine doors at my house last year. Firstly he is a really nice guy, secondly he is a good carpenter, and lastly nothing is too much trouble. For example I wanted to instal the old doors at my daughters and Jonny took them all over there for me in his van. I was very satisfied with the workmanship, he has the right tools, knows how to use them, and the end result has lifted the whole house. He did most of the cutting outside to reduce the dust inside, but hey its wood working and it makes some sawdust. I thoroughly recommend Jonny, he has good attention to detail, cleans up after himself, will happily adjust anything once it’s fitted, and his prices are competitive.

We are very happy with Jonny's mastery in carpentry. He's helpful, punctual, tidy and very quick. We will be calling him for more projects shortly and I'd definitely recommend him for anyone in the area. He has also got a great personality, which is a big plus for any tradesperson!

Mitchell O'born Carpentry did a fantastic job. Fitting very heavy doors upto 50kg with precison lining up the new to old hinge cutouts. 11 doors fitted in total all matching designs but varying in size and weight. He was extremely helpful in the consultation phase and I found him to be very trustworthy, polite and very clean. I'd like to point out his level of craft is top "notch" highly recommended.

We have used Archer Carpentry for roof line changes and to fit our Handmade Kitchens of Christchurch kitchen. On both occasions Matt and his team were polite, on time, well organised and very quick and tidy. If there were any unexpected glitches Matt found a solution and fixed it without drama. I felt they were very fairly priced, honest and great people to work with. I would absolutely recommend Archer Carpentry and would definitely use them again.

After a flood we used max Baggley plastering & decorating to replace the ceilings re plaster and decorate afterwards - some of the works whilst the office was still open and operating. They did a great job was very flexible working alongside us and rates were better than other quotes received, we will definitely use in future for other works when it comes up.

What can I say, Ben is breath of fresh air in the construction industry. Having been let down by others and on a critical timeline to complete my project I found Bens details and contacted him as he was local & explained the situation. Ben said he would look at what he could to help and juggle his workload and would get back to me later that day & he actually did! Agreed a date, agreed a price. He turned up on the agreed day and even had the decency to call and say he was running a little late. He came in did the work to a fantastic standard, worked flat out, cleaned up after himself & was polite & professional at all times. Ben created a bespoke extractor hood surround for us - we had a fantastic experience working with him from start to finish. He was very considerate in his approach, and delivered exactly what we wanted quickly and at a fair price.

We are so happy with our bespoke chimney breast that Ben built for us. He knew exactly what we wanted and he really delivered. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He sourced the materials so that we could have the rustic look we wanted and the results are amazing. I would definitely recommend Ben. In fact, we have more jobs lined up for him.

Ben was fantastic. We sent a rough drawing of the bookcase we wanted and photos of the room, Ben came round to take measurements and sent through a quote within a few days. Ben was incredibly respectful of our home and despite the type of work, at the end of every day the room was very clean and tidy. The job took at few days and the craftsmanship/precision was perfect. The outcome is better than we had hoped and we receive compliments anytime anyone new comes to visit.
