We have used Archer Carpentry for roof line changes and to fit our Handmade Kitchens of Christchurch kitchen. On both occasions Matt and his team were polite, on time, well organised and very quick and tidy. If there were any unexpected glitches Matt found a solution and fixed it without drama. I felt they were very fairly priced, honest and great people to work with. I would absolutely recommend Archer Carpentry and would definitely use them again.

Oly fitted did a fantastic job fitting my new kitchen. He was on time each day and was very understanding when I had to delay the job by a few days. He made a very stressful experience a lot more tolerable and kept me sane! He always left the work space clean and tidy. He was also very good with the dog. Oly fitted cupboards in our kitchen, office and living room which all look brilliant. He made them in three different styles and was able to accommodate all our requests, even as we kept changing them. On top of that, he is very friendly and good to chat with. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

After a flood we used max Baggley plastering & decorating to replace the ceilings re plaster and decorate afterwards - some of the works whilst the office was still open and operating. They did a great job was very flexible working alongside us and rates were better than other quotes received, we will definitely use in future for other works when it comes up.

We used Sean to fit our kitchen. Great workmanship, attention to detail is second to none. We had the wrong size door sent from our suppliers, we didn't have time to have a new one sent out so Sean cut it down to size and made it work, you would never know. Every room of our house has Sean’s magical touch in it somewhere. Jobs that you can’t fix with off the shelf DIY, this guy will prove to you why it should be done by someone who is great at what they do. Precise perfectionist! Sean takes a normal carpentry job and makes it his own for his clients. Little tweaks, attention to detail, clean and tidy workmanship and never once has he failed to deliver over and above what we’ve expected.

Jonny fitted nine doors at my house last year. Firstly he is a really nice guy, secondly he is a good carpenter, and lastly nothing is too much trouble. For example I wanted to instal the old doors at my daughters and Jonny took them all over there for me in his van. I was very satisfied with the workmanship, he has the right tools, knows how to use them, and the end result has lifted the whole house. He did most of the cutting outside to reduce the dust inside, but hey its wood working and it makes some sawdust. I thoroughly recommend Jonny, he has good attention to detail, cleans up after himself, will happily adjust anything once it’s fitted, and his prices are competitive.

He is very skillful and professional, he has gone above and beyond and the outcome is far better than I could have expected. I was lucky enough to secure Timber Tim’s services to work on a large project for me, rebuilding my Gypsy caravan (Vardo) from the wheels up. He is very talented with an amazing eye for detail. I was so pleased with the work he did and his “can do” attitude and the attention to detail he has. He is also jolly pleasant! Timber Tim recently provided his one of a kind service with creating the decked veranda that we were in big need of, following build works to our home. We commissioned Woodshop 51 to a create a counter top board out of some remaining oak work top. They took lots of care to create a board that would cater to our everyday use, including thoughtful details such as an outer groove, curved edges and little feet to protect our work top. The craftsmanship is beautiful. We'll definitely be stocking up for Christmas.
