Top carpenters; I highly recommend!

We have used Archer Carpentry for roof line changes and to fit our Handmade Kitchens of Christchurch kitchen. On both occasions Matt and his team were polite, on time, well organised and very quick and tidy. If there were any unexpected glitches Matt found a solution and fixed it without drama. I felt they were very fairly priced, honest and great people to work with. I would absolutely recommend Archer Carpentry and would definitely use them again.

Matt’s project for us was to make a small room into a utility-study-bedroom with enough hidden storage space for all three functions whilst looking nice enough to be happy to sleep in. He absolutely aced it whilst at the same time handling my finickety, somewhat demanding & slightly eccentric requests with an extremely positive attitude & tolerant good humour. He has a warm & mellow personality & was an absolute pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Mat created a bespoke electricity meter cupboard for us. The overall fit and finish is exceptional. It was made from a bought cupboard carcass and initially the door from the supplier was warped. Mat wasn't happy with it, and persevered until they were able to meet his exacting standards. I have no qualms about recommending him.

Mat installed a new kitchen/utility for us as well as project managing making two separate rooms one - this involved coordinating plumbers, electricians, bricklayers, painters, plasterers and floor layers as well as working with the kitchen and worktop suppliers. Mat did a first class job, and was exceptionally flexible and accommodating to changes and additional jobs. Very pleased and realistically priced, and would definitely recommend/use again.

Mat came recommended by my decorator, and put up picture rails in a couple of rooms and fixed a loft hatch. I'm very happy with the quality of the work, and would gladly recommend to others. Thanks Mat!

Mitchell O'born Carpentry did a fantastic job. Fitting very heavy doors upto 50kg with precison lining up the new to old hinge cutouts. 11 doors fitted in total all matching designs but varying in size and weight. He was extremely helpful in the consultation phase and I found him to be very trustworthy, polite and very clean. I'd like to point out his level of craft is top "notch" highly recommended.

Mitch has done a brilliant job of fitting several internal oak doors for us, and a new external door. He is friendly, courteous, tidy and takes great care of our home while he’s working. Wouldn’t hesitate to use him again or recommend him.

Mitch has done a great job replacing skirting boards and kitchen unit plinths. We have used his services several times and he is always prompt and helpful as well as being a talented carpenter.

I highly recommend choosing Bosswood Joinery for anyone considering high quality window & door replacements. Luke and his team recently replaced old existing uPvc windows and front door with beautifully crafted flush casement Accoya windows and stable door for our cottage. From start to finish their customer service was second to none. Luke invited us along to his workshop to meet the team & see their workmanship prior to us ordering. It is obvious to see they take immense pride in their work. The attention to detail and skill used is admirable. Luke is far from being a pushy sales man, but is someone who has an immense amount of knowledge, a skilled eye for detail and a wealth of expertise. He gave us plenty of much needed advice and support throughout the whole process, and is very passionate about his craft. The product quality is outstanding. Safe to say myself & my husband absolutely love the windows & door. The finish really is impeccable. The whole team have a great amount of skill and couldn’t have been a nicer group of guys to work with. From day one, Luke and Bosswood joinery's service has been excellent. They created the main component window and door sections for what was a quite complicated accoya kitchen extension. Not only was the work spot-on, in the two years since the build, Luke has been tireless in his aftercare, sourcing and advising on maintenance and visiting the house to personally check that everything is all inn good order after a hard winter. Can’t recommend Jonny enough! Clean, tidy & professional. Very happy with our custom build cupboards/shelves and the fitting of new doors throughout the house.

Highly recommend Jonny. His work is brilliant, he is reasonably priced, punctual and polite. He recently built a cabinet and shelves for me from scratch and the results are fantastic. We spoke briefly about what I wanted to achieve, and he immediately came up with recommended solutions and then smashed through the work. Anytime I need carpentry services in future, I will 100% be phoning Jonny, which is probably the best thing I can say!

Jonny turned an unusable roof terrace into an absolutely beautiful outdoor entertaining area. His skills were second to none and a pleasure to work with. He wasn’t satisfied with the job until I was and never said no to anything! 5 stars was an understatement. We’ll be working together again for sure. If it’s carpentry/ outdoor kitchens you’re after, you’ll be silly not to give him a call.

Jonny fitted nine doors at my house last year. Firstly he is a really nice guy, secondly he is a good carpenter, and lastly nothing is too much trouble. For example I wanted to instal the old doors at my daughters and Jonny took them all over there for me in his van. I was very satisfied with the workmanship, he has the right tools, knows how to use them, and the end result has lifted the whole house. He did most of the cutting outside to reduce the dust inside, but hey its wood working and it makes some sawdust. I thoroughly recommend Jonny, he has good attention to detail, cleans up after himself, will happily adjust anything once it’s fitted, and his prices are competitive.

Ben was fantastic. We sent a rough drawing of the bookcase we wanted and photos of the room, Ben came round to take measurements and sent through a quote within a few days. Ben was incredibly respectful of our home and despite the type of work, at the end of every day the room was very clean and tidy. The job took at few days and the craftsmanship/precision was perfect. The outcome is better than we had hoped and we receive compliments anytime anyone new comes to visit.

We are so happy with our bespoke chimney breast that Ben built for us. He knew exactly what we wanted and he really delivered. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He sourced the materials so that we could have the rustic look we wanted and the results are amazing. I would definitely recommend Ben. In fact, we have more jobs lined up for him.

Ben came to fix two doors which were not closing properly and a large headboard which had come off the wall. This was not a major job for him but he was efficient and did an excellent job. He left the rooms spotlessly clean and was a really nice person to deal with.

Sean designed and built our beautiful fitted wardrobes for our small bedroom a couple of years ago and we are still so glad that we asked him to do it. Sean's attention to detail and care for his work goes above and beyond. He is friendly, professional, talented and extremely hard-working. We wouldn’t ask anyone else ☺️ We’ve had Sean do our fitted wardrobes,, fit new doors on existing cupboards, make shelf’s in a cupboard and fit our kitchen. Sean is amazing, professional, a perfectionist,realible and always thinks outside the box for new ideas you haven’t thought of.

We have used Sean's services a number of times. The biggest job was the complete redesign and renovation of our bedroom and ensuite. The quality of Sean's work is excellent and he has a flare for design. He even met me to help me select flooring and tiles which was really helpful. We were so pleased with the end result.
