My son thoroughly enjoys his sessions with Mia both in person and online. After just a few sessions we have noticed the improvement he has made, particularly in his English writing. Mia taught my child Sophie when she needed extra help after school. Sophie really enjoyed and looked forward to the sessions and developed a great relationship with Mia. The sessions were great fun and planned around Sophie’s favourite characters which really helped engage her. It was fantastic to see how quickly Sophie gained confidence in herself and her work . Mia kept me well informed about Sophie’s progress and gave me ways I could help her more at home too. I would highly recommend Mia to help any child. She works extremely hard and really cares about what she does.

Mia taught my 5-year-old daughter for two months online and during that time my child’s progress was remarkable, especially her writing, maths and art skills. Mia was able to actively engage my child and keep her focused and motivated throughout the remote lessons. Mia is a highly experienced and trustworthy educator who I have already recommended to friends, and whose services I would definitely make use of again.

Karen was a wonderful tutor for our son Edward during an emergency period of EOTAS. She really met him where he was with different elements of his learning and helped start to address the very significant gaps arising from the poor educational standard at his previous SEN school, slowly building his confidence and self-belief. Her gentle but determined style helped him start his recovery from a period of school trauma and help ease his anxiety. Karen adapted her approach to suit, motivate and inspire him. We are very grateful for her thoughtful, diligent and patient work with him, the impact of her skilled teaching on him is clear. We all miss her and wish her all the very best for the future.

Kenza is good at identifying the strengths and weaknesses of her pupils and tailoring her teaching to help them improve. During the last four years when I have been studying French with her help, my confidence has improved enormously and I know it would have been a slower process without her help. She has been unfailingly well prepared for lessons and patient with her assistance. Thoroughly recommended.

Enrolling your child in Kumon is an excellent way to create discipline and interest in reading and maths. My child was in a different Kumon center prior to us moving to this location, and we have to say its been a fantastic experience here. Duhita and her team cater the work not only to a childs academic growth but also take into account personal and social development. I highly recommend enrolling your children in this particular location.

All three of my children have taken maths, at Kumon in Guildford. We started for various reasons and have ended at different times. My last child has now been doing it for three years now and is two years ahead of where she should be. This was evident in home schooling in lockdown when we were completing year eight maths and she is in year six. Kumon has continued through lockdown with zoom lessons. I could book an individual lesson if stuck and could contact through Whats app and text. Work was easy to exchange with little notes of encouragement. My daughter is determined to finish the program. Ultimately she says she wants to take maths and further maths at A level. Even if this isn't your aim, Kumon will give you a great understanding of maths. Times tables will be known instantly which will help in all aspects of life. The Guildford group is welcoming and when we are allowed to meet again, easy to find. Nicky Gale.

We are new to the UK. My daughter never learned English. After she joined Kumon she start to say words and now it's been 6month, now she is talking to people with confidence(still need to improve). Even her teacher at her school said she improved so fast. Thanks to Kumon in Guildford, we had very nice experiences with it and all staff are very nice and teacher are so patient. Once again let my daughter go to kumon is very good choice I made.

My two children have had Kumon maths lessons from the age of 7 and 4 respectively. They are now 15 and 12. Kumon has been a massive part of their success. Not only are they considerably advanced for their age at maths, the confidence it has given them has boosted their performance across all subjects. I can’t recommend Catherine more! Within weeks, I could see how much my daughter’s confidence has grown. She has advanced quite quickly with her reading, no more tears trying to read more than 4 letter words. She now loves reading and trying out new words. We used Gemma for Spanish tutoring in preparation for my daughters Spanish GCSE. From the very first meeting, Gemma was quickly able to determine what my daughter’s strengths and weaknesses were. Subsequently, she tailored her sessions to provide the knowledge she required both for the written and oral exams. I cannot ask for more than a fantastic tutor. They are beautifully teaching my daughter what to expect in her year group. They know what to expect in SATS exams and teach accordingly. The tutor is adjusting according to our flexible time. I can ask them to teach if my child is weak in any topic and they are happy to teach over again. All-over, I'm so happy with the tuition provider.

My 10 year old daughter has just been offered a place for Year 7 at one of the top schools for girls in Surrey. This would not have been possible without the incredible work Mark has done with her over the past year. Not only she has passed the 11+ entrance exams, but also with excellent results and a very positive feedback from the School. From his fun (but rigorous) approach to learning, to his superb strategising and bespoke support to ensure she confidently and successfully sat the entrance exams.
