I’m really pleased to have found Michael to fix my boiler. I had called someone else a few months prior who didn’t even come to see the problem (at that point the issue was only that it was not heating water very well) and offered me a no guarantee repair for £800 (he just presumed it was the heat exchanger) or £3000 for a new boiler. I decided to make do for a while with only slightly warm water. Once it started leaking too, I thought I’d give it one more go at repair before succumbing to a new boiler. Michael came to see the leak on the same day I called, quickly diagnosed what the problem was and got to work finding the part (it is a very old and uncommon boiler so not easy!). He had the part within a few days and came to fix it. The boiler gave him quite a few challenges since it was on its last legs but he stuck to his quote and even checked a couple of other things I’d asked about (radiator fluids and broken drain valve). Michael then turned his attention to the original hot water issue, found the issue, ordered the part (not the heat exchanger!!!) and got it fixed. Being my old cranky boiler, this also gave him some issues but he expertly worked his way through them (again for the quoted price) and now I have super hot water and no leaks for a fraction of the price of a new boiler.
Michael is polite and friendly and very reasonably priced. He was punctual and kept me up to date with progress all the way through. My ancient boiler has a new lease of life and if I do have to replace it at some point in the future, I know who to ask.

Michael replaced our boiler and all radiators and installed a hive control system. Very knowledgeable about boiler types and best solution for us. The installation was done quickly and very neatly, cleared the mess up as he went. Price was very good. Very professional service on top of that -Michael is calm and unflappable. Michael was recommended to us by two different friends and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

MP Plumbing and Heating have now done 2 Major Jobs for us. Michael has fitted us a brand new bathroom and doing so came with a variety of complications that he and his team solved with the upmost professionalism. The Bathroom looks stunning and we couldnt be more pleased with it. The second job was a gas leak in our Kitchen which Michael came out to us to find. After replacing a valve and some corroded pipework we are now gas leak free. Without Michael we would have been facing Christmas without heating and a working hob, he stayed until the leak was found and the pipwork repaired. It is so hard to find trustworthy tradespeople that have the knowledge and skills to do a great Job, we are so pleased to have found Michael at MP Plumbing & Heating and we would recommend him to Everyone

I cannot recommend Michael highly enough for the great job he did. He replaced our boiler and installed a new heating system in our house due to a renovation. He got through the work quickly and his attention to detail and knowledge of heating is second to none. Would definitely recommend him to anyone needing any work doing. 5 stars
