I will definitely be using them again and recommending to friends Work done: A cracked and leaking 50 gallon loft water tank spurred me into replacing the vented hot water and heating system (300 litre tank) and very noisy pump with an unvented/pressurised system. No more irritating pump noise when turning on the hot water. No mess, no stress, the work was carried out efficiently by Daryl and Steve, everything works perfectly with good pressure. An access hole was required to be cut into the hall ceiling for the tank blow off valve drain. Steve had pin point precision in locating the drain to be tapped into. They organised decorators to skim and paint the repair to as good as new. A top job.

Alan recently provided leak detection services for me including invasive access. The team spent a considerable amount of time both on the phone prior to booking and whilst at the property discussing the issue and to establish potential causes before removing floors. The job investigation was completed faster than expected and most importantly my property was treated with absolute respect, to the point where its hard to tell the reinstated floor was even taken up. Its never an easy job having your boiler replaced. Alfords however made it easy and straight forward. From planning the new installation, answering our questions, guiding us through to the right solution and installing the new boiler Alfords provided a fantastic service. The team that did the installation were great. Very tidy and protected carpets and surfaces whilst they worked. They kept us informed of what they were doing and were happy to answer any questions we had. All in all a great service that I would recommend.

This was the first time I had used Alfords but as my previous plumber had retired I booked a boiler service with them on the recommendation of a friend. Fantastic service from being able to book online through to engineer arriving as per the appointment and with invoicing and payment online, what could be easier! Very friendly, polite and well informed guy (Phil) who was extremely helpful. No mess and treated my home with respect, even taking his shoes off without being asked! There’s a reason why it’s so hard to book James! From start to finish, James is professional, friendly and, above all, he takes so much pride in his work. Upon visiting the company he recommended for the fixtures and fittings, it’s clear that he has earned a lot of respect from other professionals too. Our bathroom looks fantastic and the tiling is perfect. It was fascinating watching the whole process and especially the precision of his tiling work. I couldn’t have asked for a better result!

From the very start James was always on time, responsive to every call and reliable. One of the most professional trades people I have met - ensuring the work area was tidied every single day, to changing his plans to suit when our bathroom design changed. Never made a fuss even if some of the workload increased and took any issues in his stride. James kept us updated throughout the build with progress and anything he found which needed input he made sure he spoke to us to confirm. The standard of James’s work is extremely high and we now have a bathroom to be proud of. I cannot recommend James enough. I would gladly use him again and wish there were more like him out there.

James came out and priced the work as agreed and came back with a competitive price. He arrived to do the work on time and did a brilliant job. I've used Gair a few times and have only good things to say. Every person attending has been polite and professional and gone above and beyond to give me advice about the heating and gas systems in my house. The first visit this year was a routine boiler inspection and service as I wasn't sure if I needed a new boiler (just bought an old house), the engineer advised me that although old, the boiler was in good working order, but he could have easily recommended I get a new one - as a different company had - and I'd have been none the wiser! Plus, he spent extra time investigating where an old gas pipe from a gas fire went which I wanted removed. The second visit was the installation of new radiators across the whole house and a hive heating system. The guys did a great job and left me with a wonderfully heated home! Definitely recommend for honest open advice and professional service.

The engineer arrived on time with a courtesy text advising of expected time. They were respectful of my property and were polite. Able to identify the issue and solve it in a timely manner. I have used their services before, They will continue to be my "go to" I cannot recommend them enough.

Such a great service! I had a gas pipe moved to accommodate an oven. I submitted a form online for a callback which was swift. The quotation was quick and accurate. The price was reasonable at around £115. Two people carried out the work respectfully and expertly. The invoice was shared shortly after and payment was easy.

Excellent very professional service. We were looking for new plumbers after our previous one retired. We went by the reviews and are glad we chose Gair Gas. We had a new boiler fitted and it all went very well. Both Sams who attended did an excellent job and were very friendly polite and professional. The office staff were also very polite and helpful.
