I have known and used Dave for my plumbing needs for many years. He has always been courteous, helpful and professional. When he couldn't be on time, I was always kept informed where he was and what his ETA would be. His work is of a good standard, not cheap, but worth it. He has always responded in a very timely manner to my emergencies. I can honestly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, hard-working and knowledgable plumber.

Maintracts are the most reliable, knowledgeable and customer oriented plumbers that I have encountered. I’m so impressed with them that I never go anywhere else. Their costs are reasonable and they are available 24 hours a day. It’s a Sunday afternoon. My boiler suddenly stopped working and after one call its was fixed within 15mins! I had a great experience with Maintracts. I called at 10am for an urgent drainage service and was offered a same day slot between 12-3pm. Craig, the drainage person arrived just a bit after 12 and was very professional. He did his best to not cause too much mess and clean up after which I really appreciate. He clearly explained his understanding of the issue and what he did to address it. While, in the end, he didn’t have the equipment to address the crux of the issue he advised me of other options and their costs and didn’t try to push me into additional services. I’ll definitely consider hiring Maintracts again if needed!

After Pimlico Plumbers incorrectly advised that my boiler was beyond repair and needed a full replacement costing over £11,000, I sought a second opinion: Daniel from Maintracts quickly and accurately identified the real issue—a faulty part that could be easily repaired. The total repair cost was only £494, including the new part and labor! Daniel’s professional, prompt and honest assessment not only saved me from the unnecessary and costly replacement suggested by Pimlico Plumbers, but also showcased his exceptional expertise. Contacted Alex for a boiler service and to work out why my underfloor heating wasn't working. He was punctual, polite and efficient. He identified the issue with the heating, sourced a spare part and replaced. He was extremely helpful and clear in his explanations. Would highly recommend, and would absolutely use again in the future.

Alex was absolutely fantastic, we couldn’t recommend him highly enough. We called him at 2pm on a Friday and he was round to look at the boiler by 4.30pm. Great service and very friendly. He gave us some tips on boiler maintenance and wasn’t pushy at all. We’ll definitely use Alex again and would recommend him to anyone.

Excellent! Alex came highly recommended by a local tradesman. Upon understanding this was an emergency (boiler issue - faulty diverter causing the electrics to trip with no hot water), he came on short notice after a job he was working on, worked out quickly what issue was, made a number of calls to boiler manufacturer and also merchants for the replacement part, THEN came back again at 9pm (after all his other jobs) to install so that my tenant could have hot water that same evening! Amazingly considerate! I have never met such a hardworking, polite and skillful professional! I am based overseas and he made sure to keep me informed about the issue with photos/videos via WhatsApp, as well as costs, and in the end, he even saved me money from the original estimate. Highly highly recommended! Alex is a total gem who is now on my speed dial for all my London plumbing needs.

Our heating stopped working last night and I called Alex first thing this morning. He was (thankfully) able to come round in the hour to fix it before another job. Really nice person and honest - did a great job, communicated everything clearly and explained and highlighted the work he had done plus I thought he was very reasonably priced as well. Thankfully back to having heating and water on this morning - lifesaver! I feel torn writing this as I’m sure he’ll get booked up and I might not be able to use him if I need him again….😊 Given other experiences I’ve had - I really wish all people in the trade were like Alex.

After two British Gas engineers had failed to diagnose the problem that was causing my boiler to fail to start, I contacted Mathew at Master Plumbing Service following a personal recommendation. He fitted me in within a couple of days and immediately diagnosed the problem (a failing pump). Mathew was very obviously an experienced and very well trained CH engineer and I will certainly use him again for both routine services and any problems that may occur.

We called Matt out for an emergency as a hot water pipe joint had popped off and flooded our hallway and kitchen. He was with us quickly, and was calm, friendly, helpful and knowledgable. He quickly identified the issue with minimal additional damage to the property and had us back up and running in 90 minutes. He was exactly what we needed in that moment, and provided a full report early the next day that helped with our insurers. Massive 5 stars.

I got in touch with Master Plumbing when I encountered some issues with my boiler in my new property and read the great reviews. The plumber, Matthew, came at relatively short notice due to my narrow time limit for the work; he worked at a fast, efficient pace; his manner was pleasant; he completed the job I had asked him to do and gave me the option of booking him for further improvements if desired; he only requested payment on completion of the job after he had he accommodated my request for receipt paperwork; he checked that all systems were in working order before he left. I had the pleasure to work with Sam and Lloyd on many projects over the years. I can honestly say they are the best people I ever had the pleasure to deal with. Since the first time I spoke to Sam, he put my mind at ease straight away, showing knowledge and already giving me an idea of the possible causes to the plumbing issue I had. Lloyd knows his stuff about plumbing and heating and he’s one of the few people left in London who can get your Aga or Rayburn up and running again. Is rare to find professionals with such knowledge and understating of your system and appliances and I will definitely not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who needs plumbing, heating or any general building work carried out. If 6 stars was an option, they definitely deserve it.

I have used staunch and flow a few times now over the last year or so for various issues and I wanted to leave a review because of my experience today. I had an emergency so i rang and the phone was answered by a pleasant lady, (I needed someone almost immediately) she did have to check with an engineer that he could attend at such short notice, which he did. He arrived and fixed my problem without any fuss. I will recommend and happily use again

Staunch and Flow provided a top notch, professional service. They responded quickly when I contacted them, confirmed the appointment and then handled the call/repair with great competence and knowledge. Lloyd was friendly, explained the problem clearly and had a pragmatic and helpful solution. I had a problem with my 6x4 Aga and he was completely familiar with the model and his diagnosis was swift and accurate. I could not have asked for a more helpful technician. In past, Staunch and Flow has also helped with a leaking radiator, installing a gas line and repairing the waste disposal. They have been consistently polite, efficient and reliable.

I called Samuel around noon and he was already at my house in the afternoon.
