Will definitely be calling James in the future for any boiler related issues, including fitting a new boiler once ours stops working for good. Update on the above: Our boiler reached the end of its life span (of course during a cold snap....) - we called James who was fast to respond, gave us a competitive quote, and quickly came round to install a new Vaillant boiler. I had a great experience with Maintracts. I called at 10am for an urgent drainage service and was offered a same day slot between 12-3pm. Craig, the drainage person arrived just a bit after 12 and was very professional. He did his best to not cause too much mess and clean up after which I really appreciate. He clearly explained his understanding of the issue and what he did to address it. While, in the end, he didn’t have the equipment to address the crux of the issue he advised me of other options and their costs and didn’t try to push me into additional services. I’ll definitely consider hiring Maintracts again if needed!

After Pimlico Plumbers incorrectly advised that my boiler was beyond repair and needed a full replacement costing over £11,000, I sought a second opinion: Daniel from Maintracts quickly and accurately identified the real issue—a faulty part that could be easily repaired. The total repair cost was only £494, including the new part and labor! Daniel’s professional, prompt and honest assessment not only saved me from the unnecessary and costly replacement suggested by Pimlico Plumbers, but also showcased his exceptional expertise. He said he would aim to complete the work in 3 weeks and he achieved this, working a couple of Saturdays to make sure, plus starting the job on the date he said he would. Can't speak highly enough of Aren Heating and Plumbing. They are easy to contact, quick fitting you in and the work is excellent. Been using Nick and the team for the last 4 years on my rental properties when I was let down by my previous gas engineer. On this particular job I contacted them late on Saturday (after hours) and they had an engineer out to go a gas safety certificate and a plumbing repair mid morning today. I then received pictures of the job emailed to me with a full report within a hour of it being completed. Excellent work!
