A really professional yet personal approach. I found Northcote Plumbers on CheckaTrade and from my first call with the owner onwards they have been great to deal with. They were able to get an engineer out quickly to do Gas Safety certificate and checks. Their engineer was on time, very experienced and friendly to deal with. Out of hours callout to fix pipework leak. Arrived within the hour, leak fixed in about 30 minutes, engineer lovely & completely competent. Have used Northcote two or three times, always happy, do highly recommend them.

I recently used Near me plumbers to remove and replace a radiator and valves. The team truly bent over backwards to accommodate me at short notice and worked around my schedule to get the job done in time. Their pricing was more than fair, the workmanship was flawless and they did an impeccable job - to say I’m delighted with the end result would be an understatement! The team was polite, professional and left the property clean and tidy once done. Zero complaints from me here. These plumbers were able to attend quickly to give me a quote. And were also able to start pretty much straight away. Very reliable and professional. Great communication. They documented everything and kept me informed every day on what was happening. We had a plumbing issue that a few plumbers weren’t able to fix which turned into an emergency and we ended up calling Near Me Plumbers on a Saturday at 8pm.. Arthur and Ali showed up within 1 hour (!!) and were extremely thorough, professional and just the best plumbing experience we’ve ever had. They fixed the issue by 1pm and we couldn’t be happier. Their 5-star reviews speak for themselves, they really are that good. Won’t be using anyone else from now on!

I had a going leak with my walk in shower for ages. A few different plumbing firms would re silicone and never do a permanent fix. Called the near me team and one of the managers came out for free. He carried out full inspection and recommend to remove the walk in shower and replace with a shower tray. The price was reasonable and the workmanship was amazing. I would definitely be using them moving forward

Josh and his team did an incredible job replacing our combi boiler and adding a few new radiators. Even though one of the new radiators had a hairline crack, Josh and his team were quick to identify this and rushed to get a replacement. Would highly recommend Josh and his team.

Needed a boiler replaced urgently (leaking and not providing hot water). The guys at Pulse were excellent - came and surveyed gave me good advice and steered me away from some more expensive options to a cost effective solution. When they came they arrived on time and worked all day to finish the job quickly! Would highly recommend.

EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!!!! I cannot recommend Pulse enough. I spoke to Eddie Ainsworth late on a Wednesday evening and explained that I had an emergency and needed a new boiler ASAP. Eddie called me back within 15 minutes and had two engineers booked for that Friday - the two engineers arrived and installed the new boiler and I could not speak highly enough how efficient, hassle free, professional and easy Eddie made the service. If you have any doubts, do yourself a favour and go with Pulse! The price was extremely competitive but the overall service is what blew me away - I would give 6 stars if I could!

Quick, helpful and very good value! We had a leaky WC cistern and a radiator that wasn't heating up. Eddie and the team were friendly and efficient throughout and I very much would recommend them.

We had a leak in our flat and, called out Prime Plumbers they arrived within the hour. managed to repair the leak with a no time at all and also scheduled back in for remedial work. Brilliant service and will definitely recommend to friends and family. What to do is run the tank from the tap downstairs downstairs until it’s half empty and let it fill back up again and then go outside and check the overflow to see if it’s leaking from the outside of the building

had an emergency last night when a major leak flooded my kitchen, and I couldn’t have asked for a better plumber to come to the rescue. Not only did he arrive promptly to stop the leak and prevent further damage, but he returned today to ensure everything was thoroughly fixed. Was transparent with everything too. He even helped me remove a door, which was way beyond his remit, showing how much he genuinely cared about getting everything back to normal for me. As a woman alone with a child, I also felt completely comfortable and supported throughout. He was not only highly skilled and professional but also kind and easy to get along with. He even took the time to inform me about a couple of people on Checkatrade who are dodgy, showing he genuinely cares about his clients’ well-being and not just the job. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better service—highly recommend him to anyone needing a reliable and trustworthy plumber.

Luke arrived on time and assessed to problem with the wall hung WC which was leaking . He fitted new parts and made sure the part he was fitting was of good quality . Very happy with the service provided .

Great service from booking through to completion. The engineer that came explained everything she carried out, showing me pictures and thee inside of our HVAC unit. Making payment was very easy and the bill wasn't eye watering as some companies had quoted much higher.

I rang Polkadot Plumbers on a Tuesday to rectify a problem created by another plumbing company. They arranged for Liam to come on the Wednesday evening. He came and diagnosed a problem with a kitchen tap cartridge and repaired it quickly with a replacement part I had picked up. This eliminated the constant squealing and dripping left from the previous company. Liam was extremely helpful and fast in correcting the problem. Liam also clearly explained what was happening. I would definitely use Polkadot and Liam again.

Alex has done an outstanding maintenance job to our bathroom and kitchen in the flat we just moved in. Everything from start to finish was done very professionally: Alex listened to us carefully, noted all the problems and completed the job to a very high standard.

I had a great experience with Maintracts. I called at 10am for an urgent drainage service and was offered a same day slot between 12-3pm. Craig, the drainage person arrived just a bit after 12 and was very professional. He did his best to not cause too much mess and clean up after which I really appreciate. He clearly explained his understanding of the issue and what he did to address it. While, in the end, he didn’t have the equipment to address the crux of the issue he advised me of other options and their costs and didn’t try to push me into additional services. I’ll definitely consider hiring Maintracts again if needed!

We had few visits from them and their engineer Matthew. He is very professional, knowledgeable and caring. He called us after the work was done to see if everything was functioning properly. He installed a new boiler, he suggested also to get Hive which we found very useful. We would recommend the company and Matthew in particular, to everyone.
