Had Dave from absolute plumbing come this morning to look at a radiator that needed to be put back on its brackets that had fallen loose. He fixed the issue quickly and efficiently including going to get materials from the local timber merchant. He also looked more generally at our heating/ hot water systems and gave some helpful suggestions. Top bloke- cheers!

He recently installed a Hive thermostat, water softener, and carbon monoxide detector in our home, and the whole process was seamless from start to finish. We have been using Jamie for a number of years now to do some jobs at our property that we own and rent out . He has fitted a couple of Saniflo pumps and also helped up several times identify leaks and fixing them and with every single job he has done for us the workmanship has been of a very high standard . Jamie is a real professional who knows his trade and we can only highly recommend his services. He is a gentleman and a really nice guy, honest with high integrity and very reliable. When he tells you he will arrive at a certain time he will actually arrive at that time . An excellent trades person like Jamie is hard to find these days and I will pick him any day over the big companies and the many rip off merchants that are out there for any works that we need doing .

We had few visits from them and their engineer Matthew. He is very professional, knowledgeable and caring. He called us after the work was done to see if everything was functioning properly. He installed a new boiler, he suggested also to get Hive which we found very useful. We would recommend the company and Matthew in particular, to everyone.

I had a great experience with Maintracts. I called at 10am for an urgent drainage service and was offered a same day slot between 12-3pm. Craig, the drainage person arrived just a bit after 12 and was very professional. He did his best to not cause too much mess and clean up after which I really appreciate. He clearly explained his understanding of the issue and what he did to address it. While, in the end, he didn’t have the equipment to address the crux of the issue he advised me of other options and their costs and didn’t try to push me into additional services. I’ll definitely consider hiring Maintracts again if needed!

Can’t recommend them enough - professional, capable and thorough. Colin arrived with 10 mins when called for a burst pipe and a flood. He sorted it in minutes but had the the sense of mind to film the extent of the damage, record the cause and communicate throughout. This really helps with insurance claim. I was not there and he made a very stressful situation manageable. I will only be using CW in future and can not recommend them enough! fantastic company.

Colin came to the rescue of my 83 year old mother who had repeated problems with no hot water or heating. In total, six British Gas engineers failed to find the problem and Colin in his first visit worked it out. I can’t recommend him highly enough. I rang Polkadot Plumbers on a Tuesday to rectify a problem created by another plumbing company. They arranged for Liam to come on the Wednesday evening. He came and diagnosed a problem with a kitchen tap cartridge and repaired it quickly with a replacement part I had picked up. This eliminated the constant squealing and dripping left from the previous company. Liam was extremely helpful and fast in correcting the problem. Liam also clearly explained what was happening. I would definitely use Polkadot and Liam again.

had an emergency last night when a major leak flooded my kitchen, and I couldn’t have asked for a better plumber to come to the rescue. Not only did he arrive promptly to stop the leak and prevent further damage, but he returned today to ensure everything was thoroughly fixed. Was transparent with everything too. He even helped me remove a door, which was way beyond his remit, showing how much he genuinely cared about getting everything back to normal for me. As a woman alone with a child, I also felt completely comfortable and supported throughout. He was not only highly skilled and professional but also kind and easy to get along with. He even took the time to inform me about a couple of people on Checkatrade who are dodgy, showing he genuinely cares about his clients’ well-being and not just the job. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better service—highly recommend him to anyone needing a reliable and trustworthy plumber.

We had a leak in our flat and, called out Prime Plumbers they arrived within the hour. managed to repair the leak with a no time at all and also scheduled back in for remedial work. Brilliant service and will definitely recommend to friends and family. What to do is run the tank from the tap downstairs downstairs until it’s half empty and let it fill back up again and then go outside and check the overflow to see if it’s leaking from the outside of the building

I was recommended Aren by a friend and was not disappointed. I needed a boiler service and my usual plumber was booked up for months, so contacted Aren and had an informative response within 15 minutes. Can't speak highly enough of Aren Heating and Plumbing. They are easy to contact, quick fitting you in and the work is excellent. Been using Nick and the team for the last 4 years on my rental properties when I was let down by my previous gas engineer. On this particular job I contacted them late on Saturday (after hours) and they had an engineer out to go a gas safety certificate and a plumbing repair mid morning today. I then received pictures of the job emailed to me with a full report within a hour of it being completed. Excellent work!
