There aren't enough words to describe the impeccable service of the whole West London Carpentry team. Tim was responsive and so personal with us from my first email and design ideas phase, quite literally overseeing every aspect of our work till the final minute. Jose, who was the magician who did the work in our flat is a dream - so well mannered, kind, incredibly hard working, tidy and very talented! They were able to deliver as promised on short notice and to the VERY highest standard, I cannot recommend them enough! Everyone that comes to the flat compliments the work that's been done. Just had an amazing floor-to-ceiling cupboard made by West London Carpentry and can highly recommend them for any carpentry service needed. They build made-to-measure and the process is very straight forward. They have a lot of experience and are excellent at giving advice/ideas as well as listen to any requests you have. The fitting went seamlessly and the finishing has been done exceptionally well. We are very happy with the result and can highly recommend Tim and his team. Dmitriy and his team are first class. I would highly recommend using Solid Carpentry for any of your requirements. He helped us design the perfect living room and storage in our small porch area. Everything was built to measure in his workshop and brought to our home and fitted in a very efficient manor. We love the final result and his attention to detail is impeccable.

We needed our drawers re-done in our wardrobes. It was a very bespoke project as we didn't need something built from scratch, but within an already built structure. It was wonderful working with Solid Carpentry, and the final product was beautiful! Dmitriy was attentive to all the special adjustments we wanted for our drawers and patient if we changed our minds on some details. Solid Carpentry used high-quality materials and did a great paint job. We love our drawers!!

Solid Carpentry designed and installed a custom, built-in bookcase with a hidden door for me. Dmitriy was responsive, open & clear about what to expect (including considerations we had not thought of), took a lot of care and demonstrated real pride in his work - which made the whole process very enjoyable. Doug built two bespoke cupboards for us, for our bedroom. I cannot speak highly enough of his work - the cupboards are perfect, beautifully finished, and done on time, on budget and with absolute clarity throughout on what we were getting. He was a pleasure to work with, and really helpful in helping us decide what we wanted. Really highly recommended.

Doug was very accommodating and knowledgeable and worked with our changes and requests professionally. We had a media unit and lounge cupboards/ shelving made and installed. We are extremely happy with the finish, all at a reasonable price too. I would not hesitate to recommend Doug and will certainly be using his services again when we need wardrobes making.

We are so happy with our build in bookcases and wardrobes. Doug did a fantastic job, they have elevated our rooms so much! He built most of them in his workshop, so was only at our house for 2 days, and was no disruption at all. Doug left the house dust free. This is the second time we’ve used Doug’s services and had another great experience. Doug is very easy to work with, he takes time to understand your requirements and works to a very high standard, leaving the space clean and tidy each day. Nothing is too much trouble, even when I changed my mind on the colour, Doug was happy to re-paint the wardrobes to make sure we were 100% happy with the finish! I was really pleased with Oleg and South London Carpentry & Joinery. He responded quickly to my messages to quickly provide me with a quote, he came back quickly and with multiple options. He then did a very through job from making the template to finishing the shelves. He was nice to have around the flat and came when it worked for me to work remotely. Alzate built me a cupboard in my bathroom. They were excellent in the design process as they came for multiple planning visits, provided a great CAD design and were helpful in giving updates to the design on request. The issue was that when it came to installation, the finish did not quite match the design in that the edges weren’t flush with the wall. Whilst this wasn’t possible as the wall wasn’t straight, it wasn’t communicated to me and so I asked for it to be fixed. This lead to delays and additional expenses. Overall I am very happy with the final product, thought the service of the design process was excellent, but the service at installation was lacking due to the poor communication and it has left a sour aftertaste

We found Alzate to provide an excellent service. It’s always hard to find good builders or carpenters but Alzate were outstanding. The quote was reasonable and the payment process was straight forward. Raul and his team were very friendly and professional and completed the job to a very high standard. We were especially impressed with Rodrigo’s work. His attention to detail and lovely personality shone through. They arrived when they said they would and completed the project on time and within budget. They were very clean and tidy! We would definitely recommend Alzate to anyone and will be using them again in the near future.

Mostly, I would like to highlight the absolutely brilliant help Katherine, Jan and Aisha gave over the phone to deal with and promptly resolve the problem. Optimal responded quickly following a flood causing serious wall and floor damage. Efficient, experienced and considerate survey produced a detailed and accurate quote, including a good match for engineered oak flooring (with sample) and works were carried out promptly to suit us and done within the expected time frame. Floor preparation and laying, plastering and painting of walls and skirting all finished to a high standard. Flat was left with furniture all placed back in position and nice and clean. Really positive experience in an awful emergency.

Anthony came the same day to help sort an issue I simply didn’t have the tools to do myself. The job actually turned out to be more complicated than first thought, but he helped find solutions and even helped to strengthen some other areas that were not fitted correctly by the original installers. Anthony was marvellous. He repaired my newel post quickly and efficiently. We are very happy with his work and he even kindly tended to an odd job that helped me out a lot. Anthony refurbished five sash windows and installed a new one in place of an aluminium one, along with maintenance to the window sills - they now run smoothly and look smart with new hardware. He takes pride in his work and its of a good standard, I would recommend him.
