John worked on the eaves unit for our loft conversion area. We are very pleased with his work; it looks even better than we had imagined. He was efficient and immensely professional, always following up with any questions we had and working to schedule. His commitment to the work and his skills produced a high-quality final job that now we are very pleased to have in our loft room. The area was left neat and clean and we would definitely use him again!

John McMullen's work is truly outstanding. He is a complete perfectionist, and the work is done to the highest possible standard, on time, on budget, tidily and always with a smile. We have had the following things made: wardrobes (for 5 bedrooms) made, bookcases, a TV cabinet, window seats and radiator covers. We have never had a problem and some years later, the items still look like new. We cannot recommend John highly enough.

John has previously made some alcove shelves for us so I knew he’d do a great job of fitted wardrobes. They were made up and colour matched off-site so the fitting took less than a day and mess free. Really happy with these beautiful period style wardrobes which have a handy pull down rail. John also did rounded corners on request which we love.

I had been looking for a while to get some alcove cupboards and shelves made and after speaking to a few companies I decided to hire John for the work. The final product is of exceptional quality and John was able to install it all within one day. It has transformed our living room! John was great in giving advice on shelves and depth of cupboards and his communication throughout the process was excellent. I would highly recommend John. I’m hoping to get more of his work done in the future.

I contacted EAST JR as they were close to my house in Victoria Park Village (Hackney) and I needed 2 sets of wardrobes. They understood exactly what we wanted and then took care of the build and install exactly when they said they would. EAST JR are very responsive, care deeply about detail, creative and good value. Lovely team, fantastic quality and have been recommending them to friends ever since.

After initially asking EJ Ryder to build us a TV cabinet, they have since been back to create a bespoke dining table, fitted loft wardrobes, built in shelving for our kitchen, clever storage based stairs for our basement, a recycled yoghurt pot vanity unit for the bathroom, new doors for our living space and a set of birch ply shelves for our new baby. I keep coming back as it's fun to co-create furniture with Edwin & the team, there are no nasty surprises and I know I will get something that I really love. I wouldn't use anybody else!

Paolo and his team (Dennis for the carpenter work) did an amaaaazing job at building a bespoke mezzanine in a relatively small bedroom with high ceilings. Paolo designed exactly what I wanted and Dennis did a fantastic job. Super nice, extremely clean, efficient, to the perfection. The structure is rock solid. It is impressive. I will ask them to do many more storage spaces in my flat in a few months. I warmly recommend them. They are just perfect.

Very impressed from start to finish with Bespoke Carpentry. Really easy to communicate with to discuss design ideas. David (the carpenter) was excellent, a lovely man who is a very talented carpenter. He worked incredibly hard and fast to get our bookcase cabinet fitted in just two days. Really pleased with everything. David also gave me lots of tips for finishing touches and aftercare.

Absolutely stunning work, higher than my expectations! Working with Tim and Steve on the design really helped as they ended up giving me far more of an aesthetic look to my media wall. I had quite a few intricate design ideas and they were all executed flawlessly. Not to forget, the whole team were so kind, friendly and super tidy. Will definitely be using these guys in the future as the price was very reasonable for the quality of work delivered. I would 100% recommend.

There aren't enough words to describe the impeccable service of the whole West London Carpentry team. Tim was responsive and so personal with us from my first email and design ideas phase, quite literally overseeing every aspect of our work till the final minute. Jose, who was the magician who did the work in our flat is a dream - so well mannered, kind, incredibly hard working, tidy and very talented! Just had an amazing floor-to-ceiling cupboard made by West London Carpentry and can highly recommend them for any carpentry service needed. They build made-to-measure and the process is very straight forward. They have a lot of experience and are excellent at giving advice/ideas as well as listen to any requests you have. The fitting went seamlessly and the finishing has been done exceptionally well. We are very happy with the result and can highly recommend Tim and his team. Very professional, very efficient and beautiful finish.

Martin did an incredible job making our dining room table out of reclaimed school benches. I fell in-love with a table in America built from old barn doors and he created a replica but better. He also threw in a bench to accompany it and managed to keep the price below the original. Amongst all of that he is a lovely block and a pleasure to work with, I couldn’t recommend him more highly!

Martin is simply the best - even our builder says so. We did our due diligence, interviewing and talking to over a dozen joiners and from the start, Martin was open, collaborative and a partner. He genuinely cares about what you as a client want, and applied his expertise to make it the best version of your vision. We had him design and build our living room and bedroom wardrobes. He is exacting in his precision, attention to detail and skill. Detail oriented feels like an understatement. The end results are incredible.

Martin did a great job transforming a room in into a library by building beautiful bookshelves. He designed and built bespoke bookshelves, exactly to our brief, which are in keeping with the Georgian features of our house, while feeling modern too. He spent time getting the design exactly right including discrete lights, shelf and cupboard dimensions to fit the right amount of books and our speakers plus a ladder. He also worked hard to ensure the colour perfectly matched our walls. We love our library, as does everyone who visits. I would not hesitate to recommend Martin who has extremely high standards and provides high quality workmanship.

Karl was great - he was communicative, delivered on time and the work is beautiful quality. The bookcase he made for us fits the space perfectly and has been much admired.

Karl was one of three cabinet makers that we approached with a general project outline for an eaves storage unit in our bedroom. We found his estimate to be in line with the others; what tipped the balance was his project back catalogue, and his immediate willingness to come and visit us at home to discuss our ideas. We are very happy indeed with that decision: throughout the process, Karl and his partner JC were willing to listen carefully to our ideas, and go though numerous iterations of the preparatory CAD drawings to create a unit that was practical and distinctive, and which served our particular needs. We were expecting a baby in the same period, and Karl and JC were very sympathetic to our time concerns, and made sure that the installation process was smooth, quick and clean, and built around our tight schedule. As an amateur cabinet maker myself, I checked the quality of the craftsmanship very closely: the joints, scribing of the outer frame to the wall, hanging of the drawers in the carcass, and attachment of the oak veneer (to limit the appearance of a join) were all done very crisply. In general, we have no qualms in recommending Karl and JC as high-end practitioners in birch ply furniture, and very personable craftsmen with whom to work.

We have had a lot of admiring comments from friends. Karl and JC were very easy to work with, and took great care with fitting them (there was a difficult warped ceiling to fit them around), they obviously take real pride in their work. Karl and JC have done a number of substantial projects in my house. I first hired them to built alcove bookcases and cupboards in the sitting room, and alcove wardrobes and shelving in two bedrooms. They did a fantastic job, paying close attention to detail and taking great care to help me get the best design possible. They came back the following year to build storage in our converted loft bedroom and shower, which was a difficult space to work in. Their craftsmanship is outstanding, and they are extremely considerate and nice to have around. I would highly recommend them.

I recently hired Thomas Carpentry & Joinery to make and install two alcove wardrobes in our bedroom and I couldn't be happier with the results. Our wardrobes are handmade and built to fit our space and needs perfectly. The quality of the finish is outstanding and has far exceeded my expectations - it was worth every penny! The whole process was brilliant - Ben was incredibly helpful in supporting us to get what we wanted, and he communicated with us throughout. The installation was quick, efficient and stress-free, and we weren't left with any mess whatsoever. I can't recommend Ben highly enough, and he'll be the first person we contact for any carpentry needs we have in future.

It's no exaggeration to say that the work Ben and his team have done for us is absolutely incredible and truly skilled workmanship. Ben created two very large units for us, one for our home office and one in the loft bedroom. They are beautiful, extremely high quality and are beyond what we'd even expected. We are so happy with our build in bookcases and wardrobes. Doug did a fantastic job, they have elevated our rooms so much! He built most of them in his workshop, so was only at our house for 2 days, and was no disruption at all. Doug left the house dust free. Doug was very accommodating and knowledgeable and worked with our changes and requests professionally. We had a media unit and lounge cupboards/ shelving made and installed. We are extremely happy with the finish, all at a reasonable price too. I would not hesitate to recommend Doug and will certainly be using his services again when we need wardrobes making.

This is the second time we’ve used Doug’s services and had another great experience. Doug is very easy to work with, he takes time to understand your requirements and works to a very high standard, leaving the space clean and tidy each day. Andy and Nello were a God sent. I couldn't be happier with their plastering work and my experience with London Multi Trader as a whole. They were professional, helpful, and fast. The quality of their work is fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

Andy is absolutely amazing. I've had him do loads of stuff over the last few years, including building bookcases (he's a trained carpenter), staining my floors (which he made look 1000% times better), painting, and resealing windows. He's extremely reliable and honest, and this is confirmed by a former neighbor who first introduced me to him. He's also very tidy, so you don't even know he was there after the work's done. In short, I highly recommend him!

Andy did a great job with our bath frame and panels. He was kind enough to fit us in on short notice after completing some other work. He was responsive, punctual, worked well and quickly and was a really nice person to work with! Andy also had the benefit of cutting items remotely so was able to keep our bathroom incredibly clean, and was tidy in general. I had a great experience with him and will definitely use him again for future work.

Andy did a fabulous job restoring a recently purchased antique chest of drawers. He did a quick and free site visit to assess the piece of furniture and gave an honest evaluation of how it could be restored and what the costs would be. He was able to fit me into his busy schedule because I was anxious about getting the piece fixed. He was prompt and brought all the necessary tools. He walked me through the issues and fully restored the drawers in a timely manner. It wasn’t the most obvious solution, but Andy is knowledgeable, skilled and creative at solving issues. He left the area clean and was tidy during the process. Besides being a skilled carpenter, he is also kind, warm and professional. Would definitely recommend!
