We needed our drawers re-done in our wardrobes. It was a very bespoke project as we didn't need something built from scratch, but within an already built structure. It was wonderful working with Solid Carpentry, and the final product was beautiful! Dmitriy was attentive to all the special adjustments we wanted for our drawers and patient if we changed our minds on some details. Solid Carpentry used high-quality materials and did a great paint job. We love our drawers!!

We have a difficult to make use of small boiler room in our flat. In need of more storage space we got in touch with Solid Carpentry. They did such an excellent job from start to finish. We can now finally store all of our luggage and random things and the room actually feels bigger now. Well done on getting the shelves fitted in such small awkward spaces. I had been looking for a while to get some alcove cupboards and shelves made and after speaking to a few companies I decided to hire John for the work. The final product is of exceptional quality and John was able to install it all within one day. It has transformed our living room! John has previously made some alcove shelves for us so I knew he’d do a great job of fitted wardrobes. They were made up and colour matched off-site so the fitting took less than a day and mess free. Really happy with these beautiful period style wardrobes which have a handy pull down rail. John also did rounded corners on request which we love.

John McMullen's work is truly outstanding. He is a complete perfectionist, and the work is done to the highest possible standard, on time, on budget, tidily and always with a smile. We have had the following things made: wardrobes (for 5 bedrooms) made, bookcases, a TV cabinet, window seats and radiator covers. We have never had a problem and some years later, the items still look like new. We cannot recommend John highly enough.

John worked on the eaves unit for our loft conversion area. We are very pleased with his work; it looks even better than we had imagined. He was efficient and immensely professional, always following up with any questions we had and working to schedule. His commitment to the work and his skills produced a high-quality final job that now we are very pleased to have in our loft room. The area was left neat and clean and we would definitely use him again!

Absolutely stunning work, higher than my expectations! Working with Tim and Steve on the design really helped as they ended up giving me far more of an aesthetic look to my media wall. I had quite a few intricate design ideas and they were all executed flawlessly. Not to forget, the whole team were so kind, friendly and super tidy. Doug was very accommodating and knowledgeable and worked with our changes and requests professionally. We had a media unit and lounge cupboards/ shelving made and installed. We are extremely happy with the finish, all at a reasonable price too. I would not hesitate to recommend Doug and will certainly be using his services again when we need wardrobes making.

We are so happy with our build in bookcases and wardrobes. Doug did a fantastic job, they have elevated our rooms so much! He built most of them in his workshop, so was only at our house for 2 days, and was no disruption at all. Doug left the house dust free. We worked with Doug on some alcove wardrobes and alcove cupboards with floating shelves. Couldn’t be happier with the end result, but just as importantly Doug was great to work with both during the design and build. Couldn’t recommend Doug more highly.

Doug built two bespoke cupboards for us, for our bedroom. I cannot speak highly enough of his work - the cupboards are perfect, beautifully finished, and done on time, on budget and with absolute clarity throughout on what we were getting. Pete has done a brilliant job for us. He installed floating alcove shelves in our lounge which look brilliant, and he put in floor to ceiling wardrobes in the bedroom which look amazing despite the dubious colour choice made by my partner. Pete is very conscientious, turns up on time, tidies up, is no fuss whatsoever and works hard all day to make everything look perfect. Would definitely recommend and will use again.

Pete built 4 wardrobes, a TV cabinet and a bookcase, installed picture and dado rails, and even put some shelves up. Really pleased with the end result - great quality and finish. Pete did some alcove shelving for us recently. The brief was to increase book space and hide our TV wires through the chimney breast as well as build a cupboard to put wires and Internet router in etc. he executed the brief flawlessly and was very pleasant to deal with. Would not hesitate to recommend and will certain look to engage Pete again when we finally get round to our long-planned renovations.

The options and practicalities about the design were discussed in detail with us before the stairs were made and fitted, and the fitting itself was done most efficiently, the fitters being prompt, careful and considerate. Paolo and his team (Dennis for the carpenter work) did an amaaaazing job at building a bespoke mezzanine in a relatively small bedroom with high ceilings. Paolo designed exactly what I wanted and Dennis did a fantastic job. Super nice, extremely clean, efficient, to the perfection. The structure is rock solid. It is impressive. I will ask them to do many more storage spaces in my flat in a few months. I warmly recommend them. They are just perfect.
