I had been looking for a while to get some alcove cupboards and shelves made and after speaking to a few companies I decided to hire John for the work. The final product is of exceptional quality and John was able to install it all within one day. It has transformed our living room! John was great in giving advice on shelves and depth of cupboards and his communication throughout the process was excellent. I would highly recommend John. I’m hoping to get more of his work done in the future.

John has previously made some alcove shelves for us so I knew he’d do a great job of fitted wardrobes. They were made up and colour matched off-site so the fitting took less than a day and mess free. Really happy with these beautiful period style wardrobes which have a handy pull down rail. John also did rounded corners on request which we love.

John worked on the eaves unit for our loft conversion area. We are very pleased with his work; it looks even better than we had imagined. The frame for my patio door needed some mending, replacement of timber, and revarnishing. An excellent service - Julius visited promptly and provided a clear quote. He and his worker came on the date agreed and carried out the work to a high standard. They worked hard and cleared up after themselves. I've used this firm before and have always been happy with the result.

If it was possible to give 10* to JJ Carpentry and Maintenance Ltd I would. I had quite a complex issues with some very large doors to my property and had experienced very poor and expensive repairs previously. The work JJ did was outstanding and I couldn't be happier or more grateful.

Lomas wood recently did some interior furniture work at my house. Their work was exceptional and they have done the work very nicely. Alex was an accomplished professional, highly knowledgeable and skilled at carpentry. I made a very basic sketch with a crude design for two alcove units, shelving and a media wall for our living room and Alex produced something beautiful. From the very beginning Alex worked with me, explaining possibilities and ensuring my requirements were met. This was not an easy project as my walls and floor are uneven but Alex worked tirelessly to ensure any potential issues were overcome. He communicated clearly, throughout, to ensure I understood what the work would entail. The price that Alex quoted was more than reasonable! Thank you, K&D Builders for the tremendous job you've made of our new windows, patio doors and building work. The pointing is exemplary and much admired by other trades people that have visited! We live in an Edwardian house and the bricklayer/pointer managed cleverly to visually straighten out a not very straight wall. In addition our friends love the London Stock Brick feature wall inside the new build. Although the project has been going on awhile and not yet complete, Larry and the team have been vigilant in ensuring that the work is completed to a high standard. I can't wait till the summer when we can use our new patio to sit and admire the back of the house.

We happened upon Maple Carpentry by chance and thank heavens we did. Dealt mainly with Danny on site and Rob for quotes. Both were unbelievably nice and helpful. We got a quote. A realistic price and a time it could be done. Danny turned up on time with his crew and did a great job. A craftsman's job. At the end of every day they tidied up the front garden. Its never been so clean. Long and short of it, if you need building work doing, give these guys a call.

My friend recommended Maple Carpentry to me after having wardrobes built in one of her bedrooms. The owner Robert came to take measurements and advise me the best way to utilize the space in my loft conversion. The wardrobes that were built were fantastic, along with a large chest of draws to finish the room. The staff were really friendly tidy and punctual. I was so pleased with the wardrobes I arranged for them to build one in another bedroom which also looks brilliant, once again they utilized the best area within the room. I am now hoping to get them back to install a new staircase for me. I would defiantly recommend Maple Carpentry a very reliable friendly company.

Found Maple carpentry on line originally to put together B&Q wardrobes. Fortunately the wardrobes didn't arrive and the workman from Maple advised me they make bespoke wardrobes etc.. So that's what they did. Rob came round advised what would work in the space I had and came back with a good price. Great quality fitted wardrobes, from design to fitting was only a few weeks. Nice friendly and professional staff. After this work they also made bespoke cupboards for my bathroom.. Again good quality and made and fitted in such good time. I recommended to a friend who has now had her bedroom fitted by them and I will not only continue to recommend them to others but have them back when I need more work done.
