We have a difficult to make use of small boiler room in our flat. In need of more storage space we got in touch with Solid Carpentry. They did such an excellent job from start to finish. We can now finally store all of our luggage and random things and the room actually feels bigger now. Well done on getting the shelves fitted in such small awkward spaces. Dmitriy and his team are first class. I would highly recommend using Solid Carpentry for any of your requirements. He helped us design the perfect living room and storage in our small porch area. Everything was built to measure in his workshop and brought to our home and fitted in a very efficient manor. We love the final result and his attention to detail is impeccable.

They build made-to-measure and the process is very straight forward. They have a lot of experience and are excellent at giving advice/ideas as well as listen to any requests you have. Absolutely stunning work, higher than my expectations! Working with Tim and Steve on the design really helped as they ended up giving me far more of an aesthetic look to my media wall. I had quite a few intricate design ideas and they were all executed flawlessly. Not to forget, the whole team were so kind, friendly and super tidy. Will definitely be using these guys in the future as the price was very reasonable for the quality of work delivered. I would 100% recommend.

Graham and his team were complete lifesavers when cowboy builders left me hanging with my renovations. They met a very tight deadline for replacing my kitchen window, resizing it, for a new double glazed wooden sash window. He then came back a few weeks later to install two more sash windows that were less time sensitive. Quote process was clear, workers were polite/clean and FENSA certification followed promptly in the mail. Could not recommend them enough.

We had a bespoke job involving the creation of solid oak stair treads and platforms within our house. After dealing with multiple tradesmen it was clear that Thorsen Joinery were the only ones with the correct combination of ideas and passion for the job. All deadlines were kept, all work was carried out beautifully, and to top it off, he is one of the only craftsman I've ever had in the house that has brought a completely relaxed and calm attitude to the work. I would not hesitate to use him again. If you want someone that has a love for the work he does and a desire to get you the best possible results then definitely use this guy.

We are very happy with our new wardrobes for our nursery. Klaus was very responsive with his communication and always offered great advice. He was flexible with work hours as well. His work is high quality and we are super happy and will use him again!

We were delighted with the fitted wardrobes that Mariusz in our bedroom. He listened to what we wanted and made some really good suggestions that greatly improved the whole look of the wardrobes. They are beautiful and every time I enter the bedroom they make me smile. We then asked Mariusz to fit units either side of our fireplace so that we had storage space but within a setting that improved the look of our living room/dinning area. Again, he came to the house, listened to all the ideas that we had and suggested some of his own, which made for beautifully designed cabinets that are a feature of our living room and are greatly admired by friends and family. We absolutely love them. My husband and I would highly recommended this company, the men were hardworking, polite and after both installations our home was left spotlessly clean.

M&S Carpentry has done an amazing job for us. From start to finish it has been a pleasure to work with them. I had a clear idea of what I wanted, which was a little unusual because I wanted to hide an en-suite behind wardrobes and have the doors open inwards. I had spoken to a number of firms who had all said they couldn't or didn't want to do it as it was out of the ordinary. M&S Carpentry were great from the start, they got what I wanted to achieve and helped make that vision a reality. They advised on finishes and approach and it was a real team effort. The windows look great and the guys were really nice to deal with. They gave us plenty of opportunities to understand the process and their progress. The installation was amazing - even during the short December days things were never left in a bad state over night, and everything was very tidy throughout and amazingly well blended in to the existing paintwork. Exceptional quality and craftsmanship. I had to replace several old windows and wanted to get double glazing while living in a conservation area. I wanted to keep the original features of my 1900 house. I commissioned several windows (mix of sash and others) from Myles and Michael, a couple years after, I am still fully satisfied with the great windows. Will definitely use again for the rest of the house.
