Lucky has been an excellent provider of the handyman services he offers! His work is excellent, and he is a very nice professional! We hired Lucky to put together flat packs for us. Very happy with the work, and couldn't recommend Ivelin more. We were moving house, and our favourite leather armchair wouldn't fit through the living room door at the new place. Ivelin came up with the great solution of making the rear legs (which were fixed) removable. He did this by sawing the legs off and using a clever system with screws to enable us to detach and reattach them This saved us enough space to be able to get the chair into the new living room. Great job!

Paolo and his team (Dennis for the carpenter work) did an amaaaazing job at building a bespoke mezzanine in a relatively small bedroom with high ceilings. Paolo designed exactly what I wanted and Dennis did a fantastic job. Super nice, extremely clean, efficient, to the perfection. The structure is rock solid. It is impressive. I will ask them to do many more storage spaces in my flat in a few months. I warmly recommend them. They are just perfect.

Very impressed from start to finish with Bespoke Carpentry. Really easy to communicate with to discuss design ideas. David (the carpenter) was excellent, a lovely man who is a very talented carpenter. He worked incredibly hard and fast to get our bookcase cabinet fitted in just two days. Really pleased with everything. David also gave me lots of tips for finishing touches and aftercare.

Anthony came the same day to help sort an issue I simply didn’t have the tools to do myself. The job actually turned out to be more complicated than first thought, but he helped find solutions and even helped to strengthen some other areas that were not fitted correctly by the original installers. Very knowledgable and professional service. Would recommend!

Anthony refurbished five sash windows and installed a new one in place of an aluminium one, along with maintenance to the window sills - they now run smoothly and look smart with new hardware. He takes pride in his work and its of a good standard, I would recommend him.

I don't usually write reviews but Anthony did an unbelievable job! We inheritied some sash bay windows in a conservation area so needed to be renovated like for like. what i thought would be a quick sand and paint job myself turned out to be a nightmare bodged job from the previous owners (car filler and hundreds of screws to cover the rot!) Anthony has brought the back from the dead to their orignal glory and our sash works after being nailed, glued, painted and whatever else shut. Not only the carpentry expertise, he also restored the limestone sill, removing the old concrete that was causing it to crack! I honestly think there's not many people who would have been able to fix what we had, he really is a jack of all trades and a master of all of them based off what he did and he's a great guy, will be giving him a call when we next need something

Anthony did a wonderful job for us! We had an L-shaped bench made in our kitchen/diner with two side tables and a tv cabinet. The tv is hidden behind the short L-side and pops up on request. We are thrilled with the quality and workmanship Anthony provided and would recommend him to all. Anthony also sourced and liaised with a local upholsterer to complete the leather section, which again was a great result. Overall, top notch.

I would highly recommend St John's Carpenters. Anthony fitted two bespoke alcove units (cupboards with book shelves on top) on either side of our fireplace. He filled us with confidence and did a fantastic job, he has wonderful attention to detail, a depth of knowledge and experience, and listened to all our requests and reflected them. Because our house is Edwardian the walls are not perfectly straight and Anthony worked with the walls to ensure that the cupboards and shelves fit perfectly into the alcoves. Thank you - we are delighted!

Antony rebuilt and improved our very old patio doors. It was a specialist job that few carpenters could do. But Anthony had the skills and experience and did a great job. We went on to hire him to build us some cupboards which we are also very pleased with!

I was left in the lurch by another painting company who had tried to rip me off badly. The Handy Squad immediately responded within hours to my desperate query and promised to send me Victor the very next morning. Victor really should be wearing a cape as he is a true super hero. In just five short days he painted a 4 storey stairwell, replaced a light fitting, a couple other little jobs, and also managed to mix up a new paint colour ON THE SPOT (from old paint cans) to repair skirting boards which had been badly damaged by the last painters. He was early every morning, always courteous and really thinks outside the box to fix all the issues that I had with the house at the end of my lease. I would definitely recommend him to any female customers tired of disrespectful and bullying tactics from other tradesmen. I can't thank The Handy Squad and Victor enough for saving me from a very stressful and expensive situation. Highly recommend.

Excellent service! I arranged for Victor from the Handy Squad to come and fix a plumbing issue that was preventing our dishwasher installation. Victor was polite, diligent and delivered exactly what we asked for. Even when there were challenges that could have scuppered the plan, Victor persevered and came through for us. The whole experience with Handy Squad was brilliant from start to finish, from the quote to the booking and the exceptional delivery of our request.
