We are immensely grateful to Bobby, our carpenter, who created a stunning wooden frame for our display fridge at our cake shop. From start to finish, Bobby has been patient, knowledgeable, and understanding, always willing to go the extra mile. Among the many contractors we’ve worked with during our shop fitting, Bobby truly stood out with his professionalism, passion, and personality. Despite our modest budget, Bobby never hesitated to answer our endless emails, make multiple site visits to ensure accuracy, and work with us every step of the way before any deposit was even paid. He even drove two hours to our fridge manufacturer to take precise measurements, invited us to his studio to view wood stains and beadings, and produced a final result that exceeded all expectations. On the day of installation, Bobby arrived fully prepared, working diligently through the day to craft the frame exactly as envisioned. He even cleaned up afterwards with a heavy commercial vacuum cleaner that he brought. For anyone looking for an honest, detail-oriented and skilled carpenter, please trust all these reviews you are reading. Bobby is a true craftsman, and his work is second to none. I had Bobby from London Carpentry solutions help me with a number of bespoke furniture items with the latest being a multifunction desk. Bobby was fantastic from helping me resolve a design detail but also help me rationalise the design to achieve my budget. Once the details were agreed Bobby stuck to the agreed installation date, arriving exactly on time and I never got the impression he was in a rush to be somewhere else. The quality of the work went above and beyond my hopes (hopefully my armature photographs do his work justice) and his care and consideration was second to none. For these reasons I have no hesitation providing a recommendation.

Bobby did a great job in fitting my slat wall and was on time and extremely clean and tidy. He talked me through the process and made sure he asked if I was happy all the way. I would recommend Bobby to anyone and I will certainly use him again for any other carpentry projects I have.

Bespoke Fitted Wardrobes - Peter's service is very bespoke - attention to detail and problem solving - is something Peter really enjoys and was challenged by this space being uneven and shallow! I am thrilled with the results and highly recommend him. I had received quotes from the larger companies - Peter's prices are similar but the product is bespoke - I have exactly what I wanted.

Peter was brilliant. He fitted a mirrored bathroom cupboard for us in a tight space and it looks great. He was easy to contact and listened to what we were looking for throughout the process. On the fitting day he and his assistant were polite, quick and tidied everything up once they were done. Would highly recommend!

ELB’s in-demand carpentry service is certainly worth the wait. We couldn’t be happier with the work they have done installing new floating shelves and a built-in laundry unit. Through each stage of the process, Peter was excellent and extremely helpful, he visited our site and perfectly understood what we were aiming for, he provided a digital design sketch for the project and made multiple revisions and suggestions until we were happy with the final design. The fit and finish was perfect, he even spray painted the cabinets in the colours we had chosen and was able to fit everything in just one day. We’re so happy with the results and will definitely be using their services again in the future.

We have been renovating our first home for over a year now and needed help repairing the stairs, Vlad was suggested to me via a friend on Instagram where he had done an excellent job with custom carpentry! Vlad helped us to totally transform our staircase, not just aesthetically, but also structurally! Our stairs were in bad shape, with large 2" gaps between the tread and the riser on 50% of the steps, as well as holes and years of grime and layers upon layers of paint. He filled gaps in the stairs with reclaimed wood and sanded them down to show off the beautiful grain of the original staircase, and reinforced the underside due to wobbly and loose supports from years of wear. When we removed all the carpet from the stairs, we discovered that the very bottom step was being held up with tape and in serious need of repair. Vlad applied traditional techniques to curve the wood around the step and slot it perfectly in place - we would never have been able to do that ourselves! I really enjoy working with someone who comes with a vision and works with you to make something truly unique. He suggested adding beading as a design detail to frame each step like panelling, make them pop out and also to add depth to something which is often overlooked. I would never have considered doing that myself and I'm so glad we've done it! My stairs are now a statement! Vlad is punctual, quick to reply, friendly, and trustworthy. He truly has mastered his craft and an impressive array of tools! It was a pleasure to work and learn from him. Vlad recently built and installed our fully bespoke kitchen, he went above and beyond to ensure the project was completed on time and to the highest standard. We couldn’t be happier with the finished result, the kitchen is perfect! Can’t wait for our next project together! I worked closely with Vlad beforehand to perfect the design of our kitchen, he prepared samples so we could decide on materials and construction methods in his studio and really invested time in making sure my partner and I were happy with every detail. Vlad has an incredible knowledge of his craft and took great care in selecting the best materials for our solid wood kitchen. Vlad and his team were so accommodating and easy going working with the other trades we had on site in the project. He takes enormous pride in his work, it was a pleasure to watch him work, he was so tidy & always had a smile on his face even when faced with challenges in our wobbly victorian flat. Vlad is just brilliant, his craftsmanship is truly exceptional. Vlad created built-in floor to ceiling wardrobes in our very small bedroom. He is very detail focussed, and really helped us to understand how we could best utilise the space and the various possibilities of a bespoke wardrobe - including concealed storage, jewellery draw/trays, pull down rails etc. Aside from his craftsmanship, Vlad and his team were incredibly clean, always on time, super friendly and even went above and beyond by fixing little bits around our room (they kindly trimmed and rehung our bedroom door for us after our poor home DIY attempt) We are really thrilled and couldn’t recommenced him highly enough - I’d give 10 stars if it were an option.

Eddie made this wonderful and sleek desk for our alcove. He was extremely responsive to our requests and gently steered us away from some of our own bad design ideas and came up with this great piece. The process of installing was seamless and he also did some smaller jobs for us around the flat which are also wonderful. Paolo and his team (Dennis for the carpenter work) did an amaaaazing job at building a bespoke mezzanine in a relatively small bedroom with high ceilings. Paolo designed exactly what I wanted and Dennis did a fantastic job. Super nice, extremely clean, efficient, to the perfection. The structure is rock solid. It is impressive. I will ask them to do many more storage spaces in my flat in a few months. I warmly recommend them. They are just perfect.

Very impressed from start to finish with Bespoke Carpentry. Really easy to communicate with to discuss design ideas. David (the carpenter) was excellent, a lovely man who is a very talented carpenter. He worked incredibly hard and fast to get our bookcase cabinet fitted in just two days. Really pleased with everything. David also gave me lots of tips for finishing touches and aftercare.

In mid 2024 we asked several local carpenters to visit to provide quotes for various jobs we wanted to be undertaken including under stairs storage, additional fitted kitchen units and various fitted cupboards and drawers. When Rafal came we knew that he was the right choice before he even sent his quotation, he exhibited calm confidence and also a warm and friendly nature. And we were pleased when his quotes were very competitive. Rafal's work was to an excellent quality. He was clear in what was achievable and good at communicating when modifications to any design were needed to be made. Rafal was great at communicating before and after the work was done, both by WhatsApp and calls, and was amazingly flexible on dates when we needed to adjust due to materials not arriving in time. As a contractor myself, I was very impressed by Rafal's van setup which is super clean and tidy and shows that he takes pride in his work and presentation of himself and his profession. I can highly recommend working with Rafal and we look forward to having him back for additional work.

Rafal came by recommendation and has now done several jobs for us fitting custom cupboards in living room and utility, remodelled some of our kitchen and fitted over 70m3 of wooden floor. He is superb, incredibly skilled, tidy, efficient and reliable. We will be getting him back to build fitted wardrobes later this year if he can fit us in. Can’t recommend him enough.

Rafal's workmanship is to a high standard, I am happy with the under stairs storage he made and fitted. Communication was a bit tricky initially (and I was really adamant I wanted Rafal to do this job for us, after seeing his amazing portfolio!), once we passed that I can't fault him for the job done. I also have to say Rafal is a perfectionist and wasn't fully satisfied with how the door was installed, so he found a way to make it work better even if that meant a couple more hours of work. Reliable, tidy, polite and a great work done! Thanks, Rafal (and sorry the review came in so late!).

We are so happy with our build in bookcases and wardrobes. Doug did a fantastic job, they have elevated our rooms so much! He built most of them in his workshop, so was only at our house for 2 days, and was no disruption at all. Doug left the house dust free. I’ve had fitted furniture before and Doug’s is superior quality - highly recommend

This is the second time we’ve used Doug’s services and had another great experience. Doug is very easy to work with, he takes time to understand your requirements and works to a very high standard, leaving the space clean and tidy each day. The designer, Lena, helped us to come up with a design that both practical and fit nicely in the rooms. I had floating shelves built in the living room in a slightly awkward spot and some cupboards built in the loft which has an angled ceiling. I was very impressed with the thoroughness of the design process and quality of the product. Anatollii was polite, on time and has made a super neat job of it. He put in two long days and finished the job ahead of time. Delighted with the result and would recommend.

We contacted Bespoke Joinery for a quote and had the best service. Wee had contacted some of the big names like Sharps and Hammonds previously and there was just too much sales rubbish being messed around with the price. There was no fuss with Beyond Joinery, I told them what we had been quoted and they were able to beat the price. Samanta is a credit to the team, she is responsive to emails and is so helpful. They were able to price up the job remotely using plans we had provided, a surveyor then attended our home to measure up and make sure everything would fit. We were given a time estimate of 8 weeks and they were able to install the wardrobes earlier than the estimate given, which was awesome. The install took about 3 days and the men were professional and hard working. The finish of the wardrobes is better than we could ever imagined and so happy we used them.
