Paul did an amazing job building the built in alcove units. We have just finished painting them and are so pleased with them (just need to buy some more bits and bobs for the shelves now!). He is not only a highly skilled carpenter but also a creative, and his vision and design was far beyond our expectations. Rare to find someone who also works with such pride and is clean and tidy. Paul is also very friendly (and loves pets - a bonus!) - a real pleasure to have around the house.

Paul recently built-in some additional storage cupboards in our kitchen that matched the ones we had already. He did a good job and we would recommend him as a competent tradesman.

A fantastic job carried out by Chris Carpentry and his team - I live in a Victorian cottage in Twickenham and needed all my timber windows replacing. Their attention to detail and pride in their work was exemplary - the windows in my property are in character with the neighbours windows and had to match exact. Communication was very good, from measuring to completion. Chris and his team were efficient, friendly and professional, their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect for us. Chris has replaced most of the windows (copying original Victoria sash windows). He also made beautiful extra high windows for our remodelled kitchen / dining room. All his work is of the highest quality and we are thrilled with the results. The new windows have also made all the difference to the insulation of the house. Chris is a lovely guy and a pleasure to know.

I discovered Marcus when I moved to Surbiton 4 years ago - after a series of bad, expensive experiences with larger local companies. It was a blessing - and Marcus has done every carpentry job I’ve needed since then from designing and building bespoke wardrobes and storage to making and fitting an awkward double-glazed kitchen window and recently converting my kitchen to have more usable units. The standard of work is excellent. And he works clean. He charges fair prices and is always courteous and pleasant doing over and above what is expected. Through his recommendations I have also connected to a small group of similar craftsman. It is so reassuring to know that a job will be done to the very highest possible standard using the best materials and always with good practical advice. I can not recommend highly enough.

We asked Jason for a quote to replace our kitchen worktops and install a new sink. He replied very quickly and started 5 days later. He did an excellent job, took everything away and tidied up afterwards. The worktops were very dark and now we have a lovely bright kitchen. We highly recommend Jason.

Agron and his team carried out a ground floor extension for us providing a new kitchen/diner and remodelling the existing kitchen to provide a toilet and utility room. All aspects of the project from start to finish were delivered to the highest standard and quality. The team on site were friendly, respectful and accommodating of our needs. We are very pleased with the finished product and would have no hesitation in recommending Albdeco. We would definitely use them again for any future projects.

Agron and his team did a fantastic job building our kitchen extension and remodelling our entire ground floor. Everything was finished to a high standard and Agron was onsite every day to oversee the many moving parts. We were kept in the loop on additional costs/ challenges etc. throughout and were always able to talk these through with Agron to work out mutually amicable solutions. Everybody that was involved in the project was very skilled and thorough - particularly Artan (carpenter and site manager) and Kris (decorator)! The team were also respectful of our home (especially important as we were living in throughout). We were incredibly pleased with the end result!

Update October 2021: We liked our custom shelves/cabinets so much that we had James Carpentry return to install fitted wardrobes in the bedroom (blue wardrobes pictured below). Once again, they did an amazing job and it looks brilliant. Installation and painting was once again done very professionally and in a clean and timely manner. July 2021: We recently bought a flat which didn't have much storage space in it, but had two large alcoves in the living room. After a search of local carpenters, I came across James Carpentry. It is an amazing business and they were so professional from start to finish. Very prompt to answer the initial enquiry and to take measurements/send the designs. During installation and painting, they were very careful to ensure no mess was created/left behind and did a beautiful job. We originally wanted to have completely symmetrical shelves but on installation day they showed us a few options and we ended up liking the asymmetrical style more - which they accommodated! We are so pleased with the final result and will definitely be using James Carpentry again - already put in an enquiry about bedroom storage!

Dave and his team were brilliant! I was looking around for a while to get someone into to fix our dripping tap, install our TV onto the wall and fit a day and night blind. Dave came in looked at all the jobs, gave us a reasonable quote and did an amazing job. I can't speak highly enough of David and his team. They are extremely professional in terms of their workmanship but also in their overall approach and especially in their courtesy to the customer. From the first meeting to discuss the work of replacing the floorboards on our landings, Dave was extremely knowledgeable about what needed to be done and the advice given was really helpful. The quote was received the next day. The work was completed to an excellent standard, on time and nothing was too much trouble. Once all the work was completed they left the house very neat and tidy, I would highly recommend and would definitely use them again.

We had a kitchen and utility room refurb recently carried out by Dave and his team, and we're really happy with their work. They fitted shelves, top boxes and cabinets in the kitchen, installed new laminate flooring, as well as replaced worktops, upstands, installed a new sink and tap and gave us some beautiful tiling that really finished off the job perfectly. Dave did an immaculate job of painting and decorating to boot. Not only was the work carried out to a very high standard, Dave and his team are friendly, professional and approachable people, and are happy to discuss the work in progress to achieve an optimum solution for the customer. We requested some extra tiling, and it was in progress the same afternoon. All quotes were comprehensive and invoices sent incrementally as the work was completed. With our two toddlers that need feeding at set times, Dave also gave us space to access the kitchen to prepare meals for them even while he was working, which was much appreciated. We couldn't recommend DFP Building Services highly enough.. and wish we had found them a lot sooner!

I asked Ryan to install a shed, what he did was above and beyond the call of duty, he removed two tons of soil and a load of other trash. Installed a perfect shed on an imperfect base, negotiated wonderfully with a tenant and project managed a waste collection job. Honestly I should have paid him more. He’s brilliant.

Ryan and Lewis did a fantastic job installing two new interior doors, adjusting four others, and adjusting, draughtproofing and installing a new lock on the front door. Ryan has a great reputation and is in high-demand, so lead times before work starts can be long. However, once the team starts work they are tidy and efficient and the work is high quality. We had one follow-up issue with the front door being too tight, and Ryan returned to fix the problem within two days of contact. Overall fantastic service and highly recommend.

I found Orchard Carpentry via Trust a Trader website. Ryan communicates extremely well and has over delivered on the quality of the projects I asked for. Ryan provides a thoughtful and detailed service, considering all issues and resolving. He produced custom made shelving for two rooms and his attention to detail is second to none. My wife and I are very happy indeed. The price was very fair too, not cheap but not expensive. We will be using Ryan for our kitchen refit, within the next few months, as well as any other carpentry requirements. I wholeheartedly recommend Orchard Carpentry.
