Amazing food and service. Outside sitting is just on the street with people passing by closely, but overall great experience. Seafood black spaghetti and seafood linquini were fantastic, also portions are generous. Our first choice for lunch in Kingston from now on.

Noura Lebanese Restaurant, Kingston
16 The Triangle, Kingston upon Thames KT1 3RT, UK | Lebanese Restaurant P: 020 3034 2424
Rating: 4.8 (710) Price Level:
We have eaten here and had takeaway/delivery too. We are Arabic/Middle Eastern officianos and absolutely love this place! It’s by far some of the best Arabic food I’ve had in the UK. The staff are lovely, the food comes fairly fast and everything is seasoned to perfection. An absolutely delight to eat here and don’t forget to try some of the homemade ice cream on display too even if you are full and can’t manage a dessert.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Noura Restaurant , and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that made it perfect for both casual and special occasions. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations and making sure we felt taken care of throughout the evening. The food was truly exceptional. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The food was a standout — perfectly cooked and rich in taste. The ingredients were clearly fresh, and the menu offered a fantastic variety to suit all tastes.

If I could give Ahmed and his team 100 stars I would! I had an event here over the weekend and he was the easiest, most pleasant person to deal with. Ahmed and his team of chefs / waiters did an incredible job at organising and co ordinating my event. The garden terrace is beautiful, super spacious and the seating so comfortable! Once decorated, the place looked unreal. The food was delicious and my guests were so impressed with the high standards and service. Everything ran smoothly and in a timely manner. I cannot fault anything. Thank you so much for everything you did Ahmed, you are incredibly hospitable and the best manager. I have made a friend for life. I can’t wait to host my next event here.

Delicious Lebanese food. We loved their mixed sizzler and cauliflower starter. The Knafa dessert was too good. Everything was well made and presented beautifully. Ambience is nice. Service is excellent. We will be back to try more of their delicious menu.

The French Table
85 Maple Rd, Surbiton KT6 4AW, UK | French Restaurant P: 020 8399 2365
Rating: 4.9 (764) Price Level:
Absolutely divine. We had the most wonderful experience here. The service is outstanding. The food was sublime and beautifully presented. We went for the tasting menu and dined in on a Friday night. Cannot fault it at all and we found it to be better than some of the Michelin star restaurants we have been to. The cod and venison dishes were standouts but every single dish was a revelation. To echo some of the other reviews here, this restaurant thoroughly deserves a Michelin star. We'd love to see it happen!
Rating: 5 / 5
This restaurant made my birthday wonderful and memorable. All staff were very welcoming and attentive as well as very professional. The serving speed was very quick without any delays. The foods were superb - the ingredients were fresh and harmonised. I regret I didn't order sides as the mains had such a great punch and powerful flavours. Great atmosphere to enjoy Christmas vibe enough. As this place is a popular spot, I wish they extended the size of a restaurant, and then more people can have an amazing experience there. Love this place lots.

Having been on my bucket list for some time, we managed to get a last minute reservation for my wife’s birthday. The welcome was very friendly and when shown to our table, not only was there birthday confetti on the table but they had also personalised the menu. You already know from these little touches, it is going to be a great evening. The food was outstanding. I had the soft boiled egg salad to start and the grilled octopus with saffron risotto for the main. I could not fault either dish. My wife and daughter had the roasted loin of beef for the main with a side of mash. ‘Heaven on a plate, was my wife’s response whilst my daughter couldn’t stop devouring the mash. We all chose different desserts and once again, faultless. The waiting staff were extremely attentive and friendly which all helped to make a very memorable dining experience. We will certainly return. Exceptional service with exceptional food. Highly recommend.

Exquisite Meal at The French Table last night! All I can say is truly a “Chef’s Kiss” is deserved and more! This talented Chef should be awarded a Michelin Star ⭐ From the moment you walk in you’re so warmly greeted. They are all about the details… staff are so knowledgeable and friendly. Celebrating a birthday - was made to be pretty spectacular - I am a well travelled person… I have eaten in some amazing restaurants. The combination of ingredients and presentation was really impressive.

We opted for the tasting menu at lunch which offered a variety of beautifully presented dishes of authentic French cooking. Standout dishes were the squash veloute, hake and the passion fruit tarte. The restaurant had a buzzing atmosphere and service was perfect.

Poor Boys
Unit 5, The Griffin Centre, Wadbrook St, Kingston upon Thames KT1 1JT, UK | American Restaurant P: Not available
Rating: 4.5 (2152) Price Level:
This was a great find, excellent food, very reasonably priced and fantastic cocktails. Had a frozen long Island ice tea, Cajun fries and a shrimp po boy with Louisiana hot sauce. The bread was soft, the shrimp was crispy, the hot sauce was delicious and the Cajun fries were excellent. It all came very quickly, cooked fresh and the service was friendly and jovial.
Rating: 5 / 5
Absolutely brilliant experience, from food to service 🇺🇲 Poor Boys is a New Orleans-inspired restaurant in Kingston, nice and close to the town centre. There was a short wait, but if you're willing to sit outside, it's a breeze. The food was exceptional. We had the Dirty Boy with Fried Chicken and the Mac Boy with Fried Shrimp. The fries were seasoned nicely and the the chicken was tender with a brilliant batter. Shrimp was the same, the batter was crispy and seasoned. We tried the onion rings which were more of the same, excellent taste and crispy. We ALSO dug into the brisket twinkies, which had a strong taste and a crisp exterior. The cheese sauce was strong, definitely for cheese fans. There were two stand-outs for me. First was the service, which was amazing. The staff were friendly, extremely quick and very helpful. Second was the portion sizes. I have a huge appetite, and for what was a reasonable £30 per person, we were absolutely stuffed; even had enough for lunch the next day. I'm finding it hard not to rate this 5/5, so I did!

Excellent food. Been wanting to try here for a while and it did not disappoint. The beef short rib po boy…! Great service from Maria too who explained the menu and how it all worked.
Rating: 5 / 5
Jesus Christ! This place is a must go if you like your BBQ! I've been here twice already with coworkers, and they're all impressed with the quality of food. Just remember the portions are huge but don't worry, if you can't finish your dish, they'll give you a lid and bag to take it home. It's a must go! Trust me! It's worth the hour and 10 minutes commute to get to Kingston.

A bit away from main Kingston town, closer to riverside. Great Bavarian food! Very flavoursome. Staff are very kind and accommodating - all speak German too. Interior is cosy/warm vibes. Outdoor seating as well as indoors, great for summer which overlooks the river.
Rating: 5 / 5
A fantastic dining experience with incredible food and service. Staff were attentive and always happy to help, particularly Jakob, who looked after us brilliantly. The goulash, red-herring salad and apple strudel were the clear highlights of the meal, however each and every item was well received by all. Always a pleasure visiting a Steins.
Rating: 5 / 5
I can’t say enough great things about Stein’s! This place is hands down the best spot for miles around if you’re a fan of great beer, delicious food, and top-notch service! Every pint or stein😄 is a testament to their dedication to quality, also ask for flying stag! 😅 The food? Absolutely phenomenal—each dish is packed with flavor and clearly prepared with care. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty meal or just some bites to go with your drink, they’ve got you covered. But what truly sets Stein’s apart is the incredible service. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always attentive, making every visit feel special. And if you’re looking for some festive cheer, their Christmas decorations are the best in town! The atmosphere is magical and cozy, perfect for celebrating the season with friends and family. If you haven’t been to Stein’s yet, you’re missing out. It’s a local gem that never disappoints! I will be back very soon with more friends ❤️

Always an amazing experience at Stein’s Kingston. Authentic Bavarian food and great selection of drinks. Service is above and beyond, especially Katja who speaks both German and English, so you really feel like you’re in the Bavarian Alps. We celebrated my husband’s birthday in the area upstairs and it was one of the best parties ever! I highly recommend.

Megan's at the Griffin Restaurant (Kingston)
The Griffin Centre, 2 Market Pl, Kingston upon Thames KT1 1JT, UK | Mediterranean Restaurant P: 020 3468 0227
Rating: 4.5 (1502) Price Level:
This place came highly recommended by my girlfriend, who visited with her friends a few days ago and couldn’t stop raving about it. Naturally, I had to check it out! I went in the evening after a long day at work and treated myself to a smoothie and cookie dough. Both were absolutely mouthwatering and delicious sweet enough to remind me of my girlfriend! A lovely lady named 'Madu' served me, and her kindness, warmth, and politeness made my visit even more enjoyable. I would definitely come back to Megan’s, not just for the amazing food and cozy ambiance but also for the exceptional hospitality. Highly recommended!

A lovely evening for a birthday meal. The frose cocktail was very refreshing. Great value for money with the sharing feast as a main. Our server Alan had speedy service and Bree had excellent customer service. I was even give a free slice of delicious carrot cake with a candle. Thanks to all the team for a wonderful Sunday evening dinner. Would recommend and would return :))))

Another fabulous dinner at Megan’s. Can’t believe I haven’t left a review before today. The service we had Friday night was fantastic! Especially our server, he was so friendly and sweet. The food has always been top notch and a good value. Can’t get enough of the Za’atar Hummus and it quickly became a favorite of ours that now it is a must order if we are there for lunch/dinner. The deals for drinks at happy hour are also wonderful. As are the weeknight dinner deals! We will most assuredly be coming back again and again.

Buzzing authentic Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Kingston. We had a short wait on a busy Saturday but seated in no time. Restaurant is deceptively large with an upstairs too. Friendly staff and great tasting food. We had lamb doner, meze and the breakfast. Everyone was very happy with their choices. Great option for the family.

My two daughters and I visited this lovely Tapas Bar last Friday evening and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the bar had a real buzz about it. We visited for a birthday meal and just loved this place with the lovely garden. Beautiful atmosphere ,every corner. Wonderful service from every member of the staff. Especially the owner lady went the extra mile for our birthday cake. Super friendly and welcoming. (Thank you for your genuine and warm-hearted hospitality!) Seafood paella, padron pepper, whitebait were delicious with generous portion. Definitely going back👍
Rating: 4 / 5
Had a nice lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. The food was very good. My daughter especially liked the meat skewers and the potatas bravas. I liked the prawns and fish croquettes. The calimares was tasty too. The bread and Olive oil was a hit. The bread was fresh, warm and great for mopping up the remanence of anything with a sauce. Service as polite, friendly and efficient. It was quiet when I went but the decor is fine and the seating was comfortable. Overall it’s pretty good value. But I do think £9 for padron peppers is unusually high. It’s a good place

First time at MOJEN and popped in for a light dinner. Really delicious, good quality food. So well presented. We ordered a selection of sides and starters to find that perfect blend of a little of everything and the plates were emptied quickly! The decor is beautiful and the background music was really relaxing. Service perfect and staff very welcoming and attentive. It is right by the waterfront and we took a little post meal meander to enjoy that too! Would fully recommend!

If you're craving fresh, delicious seafood, Ocean Basket in Kingston upon Thames is a must-visit. The restaurant boasts a prime location along the Thames, offering stunning views while you dine. The menu is packed with mouthwatering options, but my personal favorites are the fresh, warm rolls and the perfectly cooked fried calamari drizzled with tangy lemon butter sauce. The seafood is cooked to perfection, making every bite a delight. The service is top-notch. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always happy to offer recommendations. Whether you're dining alone or with a group, you'll feel right at home. I've been here a few times now. The team are always incredibly friendly and the service is impeccable. They scan the room to ensure that everyone looks happy and manage to time their check ins perfectly. Food is great, the time before last we managed to book for 10 and all the food was ready way quicker than other places. Definitely recommend if you like seafood.
Rating: 5 / 5
I had a family member visiting from abroad and they wanted to try fish and chips for the first time. I asked a friend who lives local to recommend a restaurant and was told ocean basket was the place to visit. We were not disappointed - food was fresh and flavourful. It was very busy so a little bit loud but nothing to complain about. Our waiter was very polite and attentive. I hope to visit again! Pictured is the fish and chips, and bite of the ocean platter.

My second visit, this time for our wedding Anniversary. The food was excellent quality, I had grilled Calamari and my wife had the mussels in sauce, both very tasty. The haddock was moist and my wife’s crusted salmon also was a good choice. The chips were a bit of a let though. Overall nice restaurant that sits between a chip shop restaurant and fine dining. We will definitely be back for the offers they have, the pensioners menu and the Monday lunch 2 for 1 fish and chips.
Rating: 5 / 5
It was my first visit, and I was thoroughly impressed. The staff ensured friendly and efficient service throughout. I tried the Monday special of hake and chips, which was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for its lovely view overlooking the River Thames.
