Beast & Field Steak Mayfair

Beautiful food truck style steak and burger stall upstairs in Mercato Mayfair, with a focus on grass fed British beef. The bavette steak was divine and very high quality, with tart chimichurri and well cooked fries alongside. The burgers were flying out and they looked great too. The price is great for what you get and there's a little wine selection too. Service is friendly and swift. What more can you ask for?

Beast and Field is a hidden gem! The steak was cooked to perfection—so tender and flavorful. Huge thanks to Veni and Jose for their amazing skills and friendly service. Can’t wait to come back for more!
Rating: 5 / 5
Amazing burgers! Incredible flavor and cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed some chips which were seasoned just right and some drinks. The guys were friendly, helpful and seemed to enjoy their work. Forgot to take pics of the food because we were so hungry and then it was so good we couldn’t stop eating! 😆🧡
Rating: 5 / 5
Without any doubts, one of the best burgers i‘ve ever eat! The beef was insane, like a Steak on a Burger and the patty, the onions and the sauce were something special, too! Thank you guys for this taste experience, if you haven‘t tried yet, do it. And if the taste just isn‘t enough, the location inside of a church is a must see and a real highlight for everyone!

This was our first time in a Michelin starred restaurant, and thus at HIDE. Everything was perfect, from service to food. Everyone was very welcoming, waiters gave us awesome food recommendations! For the quality of the food we tasted, this felt perfectly priced. This is hands on the best restaurant I’ve been to. I’d recommend trying the chicken liver parfait, and the chocolate pot, both were wow.

To me, one of the best restaurants in London for all occasions. Service is exceptional. Ambience, food servicing, selection of spirits, it all gives you a unique experience. My personal top choice is breakfast for sure, definitely go for French toast, and try any pastry (these are freshly baked every morning) Dinner is also worth mentioning. Every dish is a masterpiece. From starters, I really enjoyed scallops and mackerel tartar. As for the main, my go-to is octopus (it just melts)

Celebrated my birthday here last week. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We got the bread basket (highly recommend), the nest egg (10/10), beetroot starter (7/10), scallops (8/10), mains were venison (7/10) and octopus (8/10), with a pear sorbet (9/10). It was a great experience and the service was excellent! The decor is beautiful as well, we will be back to experience the breakfast:)

Had an intimate wedding dinner in a private room (reading room). Thoughtful and whimsical decor. The staff was exceptional! Not only in knowledge of what they were doing, also very personal and authentic. THATS what you need in a great service team! Food was excellent as well, as expected from a Michelin Restaurant, but the service was what makes you feel at home. Thank you ♥️

We enjoyed the food and service was great. One little comment, our chips were mostly small pieces of an inch long. If they were the end of the bag, maybe you shouldn’t have cooked and served them. Otherwise everything was fantastic.

Did not reserve took the chance as a walk in , was accepted and seated. Andrea welcomed us polite friendly and was the part. He was informative regarding the menu with his charm. The food, well from beginning to end starters and main was on par! Spot on! Just as described but better! I live fine dining but there times where chilling in a place where the atmosphere the staff make it! This is the place! Highly recommend for any occasion and make sure you get a chance to say hello to Andrea you won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch while visiting the area and are glad that we did. The service was really good and the food was great. We got the lobster and burger combo, the lobster croquettes, and the lobster mac and cheese and both were so good. We were seated quickly and we never wanted for anything. The waiter was amazing, I wish I could remember his name. The restaurant is cute and clean. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back when we are back in the area.

A truly glamorous place with a great cocktail menu! Really nice outside terrace - a great place to be on a warm evening! I would like to mention however there is a bit of a slow service we observed and we didn’t think the food stood out as we expected. However, vibrant atmosphere and a perfect place if you love dressing up!
Rating: 5 / 5
The MAINE is my go-to spot for dinner, and every visit is a delightful experience! The ambiance is effortlessly chic, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it perfect for any occasion. The food is consistently outstanding—always fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The menu offers something for everyone, and no matter what I try, it never disappoints. The staff are attentive and friendly, making each visit feel special. It’s a place I keep coming back to because it delivers every time. Highly recommend it for a fantastic dining experience!

Thank you for an amazing experience for my cousins 21st birthday. From the start of the evening, until the end of the evening, the customer service was top. We were assisted to our table by a lovely host, our waiter (Cristian) was very helpful, kind and attentive. The quality of the meat was exceptional and we enjoyed sharing all the flavours as group dining together. The show and entertainment added to our experience and made it memorable!
Rating: 5 / 5
The MAINE Mayfair is a stunning restaurant and bar that offers an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Located in the heart of Mayfair, this elegant spot combines classic charm with a modern twist, making it perfect for both casual evenings and special occasions. The ambiance is absolutely captivating, with its stylish interiors, dim lighting, and a sophisticated yet cozy vibe. The service is impeccable—staff are attentive, knowledgeable, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The menu is a delightful mix of contemporary European and American cuisine, with every dish beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The oysters were fresh and indulgent, while the steak was perfectly cooked and tender. The cocktails are a standout as well, expertly crafted and wonderfully balanced—definitely worth exploring their creative drinks menu. Whether you’re enjoying a romantic dinner, a business lunch, or drinks at their chic bar, The MAINE Mayfair guarantees a memorable experience. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but the quality, ambiance, and overall experience make it well worth the splurge. Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in Mayfair’s vibrant dining scene!

Gymkhana

After a long wait, I finally had the chance to try this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was incredible, especially the keema, which was a standout dish. The lamb chops, however, were just okay. What truly made the experience special was the extraordinary service—attentive, friendly, and welcoming. It made the visit all the more enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit!
Rating: 5 / 5
Gymkhana is an absolute gem in London’s dining scene. This Indian restaurant effortlessly combines traditional flavors with creative flair, offering a menu that’s as exciting as it is delicious. Every dish feels meticulously crafted, bursting with bold spices and unexpected twists that keep you coming back for more. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, striking the perfect balance between cosy and chic. Despite its upscale reputation, the vibe remains refreshingly unpretentious, making it a place where you can truly relax and enjoy the experience. The service is impeccable—attentive without being overbearing, with staff who are genuinely passionate about the food and eager to make your meal memorable. Gymkhana is a must-visit for anyone looking to savor the best of Indian cuisine in London.
Rating: 5 / 5
Hands down the best Indian we’ve ever had. Deserving of all the awards and accolades. The lunch menu at £60 is amazing value for money with great portion sizes. We could not finish and our doggy bag had us covered for dinner. The service is very careful and professional but without pompous Michelin star distance. Will visit again with absolutely no doubt.
Rating: 5 / 5
Little did I know that Indian restaurants with 2 Michelin stars exist… Gymkhana impressed our group in many ways. The atmosphere and interior design of the restaurant is stunning and brings a posh and serene mood to us as guests. The staff is very professional and warm, they take all the time to let us come to the perfect choice for the menu. We had a hard time NOT choosing everything on the menu since there are so many interesting dishes listed. We were amazed by the wonderful flavours and presentation, with great wine advice from the sommelier. Hands down the best Indian high end dining experience I’ve enjoyed in my life so far.

Sabor is an exceptional Spanish restaurant that offers an incredible dining experience. The overall atmosphere is warm, inviting, and vibrant, perfectly capturing the essence of Spanish culture. The chefs not only prepare mouthwatering dishes but also take the time to introduce each course in an engaging and informative way. Their humor and charm add an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. The food is absolutely outstanding – every dish is a delightful combination of authentic flavors and beautiful presentation. From the rich and flavorful tapas to the perfectly cooked main courses, every bite was a treat for the senses. The attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients really stood out. I would highly recommend Sabor to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable Spanish dining experience. It’s the perfect place for a special night out or to simply enjoy great food with friends and family!

Sitting at the counter was an incredible experience. I was traveling solo and only had to wait about 30 minutes at prime dinner time on a Saturday night to be seated. The food was absolutely incredible. I have been to 3 star restaurants that I’ve been less impressed with the food. Each dish was complex, creative, and flavorful and the drinks list did a great job of complimenting the food. It was so cool sitting at the counter and getting to watch the chefs in action. All around amazing (and shockingly inexpensive) experience, I will be back any time I’m in London in the future!

The front lady was very kind to move up our reservation time as we came earlier. The food was good but not per my expectations, I liked the starters more than the mains such as the fish, it was just okay. Service was ok but could be better.

Ormer Mayfair

Every dish was exceptional. Peculiar but delicious combinations worked. Savor your time there and enjoy the food show.
Rating: 5 / 5
I went here for my wife’s birthday and was so happy. The food was exceptional and the service wonderful. They have us some extra sweet treats for the birthday too.
Rating: 4 / 5
Ormer Mayfair was more memorable for the service and ambiance than the food. Their tasting menu is a little quick and small portioned even in Michelin Standards. Dishes like their cured Cornish mackerel and roasted pigeon are still good, however the conclusion of the tasting menu left doesn’t leave a full feeling of satisfaction. On the other hand, their service was top notch. Very friendly and personable staff made the restaurant its self a pretty nice attraction and notable in that regard. Overall, I think the menu has to reflect a more fulfilling course selection for value and portion to warrant a visit compared to the limitless other options you could choose from in London.
Rating: 5 / 5
One of our best experiences in London. We would say top 5. The food was divine, we went for the pescatarian menu. They change their menu often. The ambience is really cozy, quiet and nice decor. Nice selection of paintings. It’s definitely a place if you like art. The staff were very friendly, polite, and really treated me and my guests very well. It was my birthday and they provided the best atmosphere we could have. Definitely we will return and highly recommend Ormer. When you choose a place more refined like this one you really expect everything sparkling and perfect. I am quite picky with places and I couldn’t find one single fault. I would suggest just a piano as background, apart of that, this experience was perfect.

Book in advance and enjoy going up the stairs to the art filled room. Have a Mount St Martini or Smoky Penicillin cocktail while admiring the walls. The croquettes and the beef will delight with perfect execution. The service is on point. I'd say pretty flawless experience. The restaurant is also a great choice on Mayfair for a Sunday roast where everything is excellent.
Rating: 5 / 5
Celebrated a lunch birthday here and we were all very impressed by the service and food. You need to book in advance. The lobster pie is a standout and has big prices of lobster meat, cooked in a lobster broth. It’s absolutely delicious with strong flavours. The Sunday roast was also just as good, the beef moist, with the some of the best potatoes we’ve ever had. The desserts are out of this world, and are made to order - and it shows. Highly recommend, and would come again. Tips: - make sure you book in advance - there is a 15% service charge

The service is always very good. One of the only professional places in London where waiting staff are fully trained. The food is good and the portions are filling. The menu could be more variant. Not many options for vegetarians or people who wants more vegetable in their food. I really recommend the monkfish and snail entree which comes with grilled Bonemarrow and rich enough to be a main if you’re not a big eater.
Rating: 5 / 5
Wonderful dining experience at Scott's! The food was superb, the drinks were very good, and the attention to detail from service was above and beyond. We were very well cared for from beginning to end. There is a very good range on the wine list with some very approachable affordable wines by the glass/carafe, as well as some more special stuff by the bottle. Price is of course high but felt fair for the experience.

A special gratitude to Mr. Lyall, & Mis, Lila for his distinguished service and his dedication in taking care of our table. The place itself is very much kind and welcoming you at the gate. I totally recommend it for people dose appreciate the service and have a god taste in food.

A perfect meal for a wedding anniversary, sometimes when a place has a famous reputation it never feels worth the money but this is not the case here. This is the best seafood I have ever eaten with every mouthful being perfectly cooked and balanced with flavour. We had the octopus carpaccio which is extremely good value and the scallops were perfectly cooked with a lovely sauce. For mains we had cod and Sea bass with aubergine and potatoes. Every single item was lovely even though I am not usually a sea bass fan. We just about managed some sorbet, the coconut and lime is best. The atmosphere is amazing, it is both busy and sociable but not crowded. The service is also impeccable, never waited more than a second or had to ask for anything however it was not rushed. Not cheap (to be expected) however for its reputation, quality and location I felt that 280 including the above and a bottle of champagne was "good value" . Will certainly come back.

An unusual place for local pubs. But we were here for the second time, this time for Indian food and I recommend it, this plate can be shared, ideally for two people, and tested. a nice change in the basements, where previously there was only a wine bar, they added sushi and a salad bar. If you haven't been there, go and judge for yourself, the first visit is strange because they serve beer on the altar, but the second one, you can see what has changed and enjojed

What a unique food court. This church was converted into a two level food court. The lift was broken and down. But there are stairs to the left corner after entering the main floor. Amazing burger fusion at the Beast and Field. Juicy and cooked perfect med/rare. The chips were crispy and delicious. Service was great!
Rating: 4 / 5
Visiting Mercato Mayfair for the first time was an interesting experience, especially given its unique setting inside a former church. The beautiful, high-ceilinged space, with its soaring arches and stained-glass windows, creates an unexpected backdrop for a bustling food market. The blend of history and modernity gives the place a distinct charm, with rows of food stalls lining the nave and offering a wide range of international street food, from pizza and pasta to burgers and Asian-inspired dishes. However, while the atmosphere is undeniably lively and the location undeniably cool, Mercato Mayfair does have a slightly touristy feel. The market is clearly designed to attract visitors with its vibrant food offerings and picturesque setting, which means it can be a bit crowded, especially on weekends. While the food is certainly tasty, it didn’t quite live up to the high culinary standards of some other renowned London food markets. Many of the dishes are decent, but they aren’t particularly exceptional or unique when compared to what the city’s wider food scene has to offer. Still, the market is a fun spot to grab a bite and soak in the atmosphere. It’s a good option for those looking for a casual meal in a quirky setting, but food connoisseurs may want to venture elsewhere for a more memorable gastronomic experience.
