Popped in for lunch, had a thali. Absolutely delicious, nothing left. Absolute gem of a restaurant. Quite small so booking advised at night.

The food was tasty, we found it was a little too spicy, next time we'll ask for a little less tho 😊 We also had the Mango lassie which was really nice. Wonderful atmosphere, the decor is quaintly Indian, reminding us of a Cafe rather than a restaurant which made it feel really comfortable and chilled. Would definitely go back when we are back in the neighbourhood 😊

Amazing Food, Warm Atmosphere, and Friendly Service at Canteen in Wallington We recently visited Canteen, a cozy new restaurant in Wallington, and were absolutely delighted by the experience! Though it’s a small place, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a lovely vibe that makes you feel right at home. The food was exceptional—every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell they put a lot of care into their menu. What truly set this place apart was the incredible service. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who came over for a chat. He was genuinely one of the nicest people we’ve met—attentive, engaging, and passionate about what they do. I highly recommend Canteen if you’re looking for a great dining experience in Wallington. It’s a gem of a place that we’ll definitely return to soon!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating—they’ll adapt dishes to suit your tastes such as spice tolerance. My partner and I agree it’s the best Indian restaurant we’ve tried. The food is packed with flavor; the butter chicken is a standout and a must-try! Absolutely worth the 30-minute drive. What can I say? Except wow it was amazing. The food was lovely. I’ve got the pork ribs with fries and coleslaw the service and the people at the shop were absolutely amazing. They treated me with such care and such honesty. They showed a real family is this is a family shop and I could tell by the atmosphere inside the chef amazing such a nice guy I walked in there he greeted me you asked me what I wanted gave me a menu when I asked for it and said take your time so I took my time and when he was ready for me when I was ready, he dropped everything and came to my Services . It was absolutely amazing amazing wow just beautiful the pork ribs were so tender when I picked up one rib just fell off the bone It was smoky flavourful when you ate it you just felt this pour of tenderness the barbecue sauce that they had on top it was a sweet sauce. It had a bit of a tangy flavour , but that’s how I like it. Put some sort of rub on top of it which just gave it that smoky applewood flavour and smell it was just amazing overall 5 out of 5 on everything if you haven’t been to the shop yet and you’re reading this review I suggest you do

Another lovely meal. This place never disappoints. Consistently great burger, ribs are to die for and just discovered the chicken wraps which makes what to choose even harder. Love love this place.

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place! The food is incredible and made with such care and love. Slavi (the chef) and his aunt are so generous, always offering us new things to try. The food is excellent value for money - - in fact too cheap for how good it is. Highly recommend. By far THE BEST in the area.

I had the smoked beef brisket, with horseradish. Smoked in house and looked and tasted great. Little tip maybe use butchers paper or tin foil to wrap to keep the juices in the meat after 8 hr of smoking. Great usp (smoker) keep improving and streamlining your product

My husband and I frequently eat here, especially when we miss Korean Fried Chicken. Their KFC brings back the days when we were living in Seoul. As a local, we are grateful to have access to Korean food so close to us and we always feel welcomed as the staff is very kind and friendly. The hall is always clean and the price of food is good considering the portions you get.

Love this place My go to is the noodles with soy garlic chicken and the Korean fried chicken Noodles are really light and flavourful and all the toppings are delicious Chicken is tender, crispy and so packed with flavour The friendly man behind the counter gave me a free taster of everything he had on offer when I first came here so I could see what flavours they had to offer too If you’ve not been it’s a must Thank you Nadri Team

Above all, it's really delicious. It's a taste that my mom makes. The staff are very friendly and the food is clean, so I'm planning to go there often. If you want to know the taste of Korea, I recommend you to go!

Me, my partner and father come to Rishi’s tonight and had the most amazing food! Hands down best curry we’ve ever had, lovely atmosphere and staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome! Hackbridge hidden gem, we will definitely be returning 😃

First time here at Rishis and very happy that's its our local gem. We tried the 5 course chefs menu and it was delicious, amazing value for money. Everything was so tasty and so well presented. The lovely waitress was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the food. The restaurant was clean, very comfortable and there was a lovely chilled ambience. What a wonderful little gem this new local restaurant is. My friend and I went for dinner last night and tried one of the set dinner menus. It was a real treat and also very well priced. The restaurant, on the first floor of the building, is lovely and contemporary with tastful modern decoration. They served a lovely Indian meal and after chatting to the chef at the end of the meal to compliment him on the lovely food, discovered they are also doing Sunday roasts and soon, an Italian selection. Can't wait to come back again.

I had a delightful experience at this restaurant! The butter chicken was incredibly flavorful, the palak patta chat was a delightful surprise, and the lamb curry was rich and aromatic. The bang bang cauliflower added a unique twist, and the butter naan was the perfect accompaniment. The pani puri was a burst of flavors. The beautiful sitting area enhanced the overall ambiance. I highly recommend this place to everyone, it's a culinary delight with a fantastic atmosphere!

Travelled for work, stayed for 2 nights, and I loved it here, the bed was very big and comfy and I was given the extra pillows that I asked for. Also, the food was amazing in the pub downstairs, the trout was top class, and the pecan pie was out of this world! And the full Duke's breakfast was spot on the following morning. Also, the staff are really friendly, super super friendly. Really recommended!

We love visiting The Dukes Head. Always a good atmosphere, not loud, staff are friendly and helpful. Used the booking facility as it was new years eve and we were provided with a great space for our group size. Ordered from the bar and using the app which is easy once you get signed in. I was unable to sign in as no code was received but my husband managed it on his phone. Everything is good quality with lots of choice.

Really wonderful experience. Went to celebrate a birthday and had a lovely time. Compliments to the chefs for the delicious food and huge thanks to the staff for looking after us so well. We look forward to returning!

What a lovely pub! We’ve enjoyed a few meals here in the past week! Their breakfast buffet is lovely and the dinner menu offers enough choices that there’s something for everyone! Kind and friendly staff and delicious food!

You will have a special experience if you stop by this restaurant. The owner and staff provide you with a menu that your pallete deserves, accompanied with a great selection of music. I personally recommend trying the 'Tagliatelle Roberto', it's my favourite dish and I will be back again asking for more!

It was my Birthday and I was Turning 33! After a Huge Easter Sunday Gathering the Weekend Prior with Lots of Curry I thought it would be a Good Idea to Celebrate with a Different Cuisine for a Change. Since Grandad loves to Enjoy a Good Italian whilst he is down from Yorkshire I decided I Would Combine the Two and Have a Delicious Italian Birthday Treat, Anyhow I do enjoy my Italian Favourites too. I Arrived at the Restaurant First and as it was Raining I stepped inside to Take my Seat and Instantly took in the Cosy Surroundings with some Pre Photography before the Calvary arrived! Soon After Grandad, Mum and Dad arrived. Unfortunately Sarah was "Nursing" Granny at her Flat after her Cataract Appointment so they were unable to join us. Grandad and Dad then Proceeded to Look at the Menu even though they have been to eat here many times prior (They Cater for Mum's Gluten free), but it was my First Time here even though I'm local. The Atmosphere was Cosy, with Dimmable Warm Lighting that was Reduced throughout the Evening to Create a Cosy Intimate Feel. The Playlist was A Mix of 70s and 80s Disco and Pop with some 90s Whitney Surrounded by the Bee Gees and The Tramps Disco Intherno which appealed greatly to my Eclectic Taste in Music 🙂. We were Practically the Only Diners in the Restaurant apart from Two Blokes who sat outside in the Cold so they could Smoke. For My Starter I Settled on Breaded Goats Cheese - Thick slice of goat's cheese, deep fried in Panko breadcrumbs. Drizzled with honey & served with a sweet tomato relish Once I Enjoyed my Starter Grandad partaked in Conversation on "Today's News" and then it was time to Settle on to our Mains. Me and Grandad Had: Vitello Saltimbocca alla Romana - Veal topside with Parma ham cooked in a pan with demi-glace butter and sage. Served with green beans & mashed potatoes Mum had Using Gluten free Breadcrumbs she had bought with her: Vitello Milanese - Veal topside, pan -fried in flour, egg & panko breadcrumbs. Served with Spaghetti in our homemade tomato & Bolognese sauce. Dad had: 9oz Ribeye Steak & Chips - 28 days matured, cooked how you like and topped with garlic butter. Served with French fries and 1/2 grilled tomato To Drink I had 7 Up Zero, Dad a Diet Coke, Grandad a House Wine and Mum a Rosé, all washed down with Water. Once We had had Finished our Delicious Main Course some of us Ordered Dessert with Dad having a Lemon Sorbet. Along with the Desserts Came the Climax! 🤣🤣....... My Birthday 🎂 Cake Accompanied by 3 Fiery Sparklers, Modern Happy Birthday Tune on the Sound System, along with Very Enthusiastic Singing from the Head Female Restauranteur and her Team accompanied by Clapping! It was such a Fun, Relaxed Cheery Atmosphere!! 🙂🙂. The Cake was a Simple Gluten free (for Mum) Waitrose Sponge and I was served Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream to go with the cake, (even though I had selected a Dessert to have from the Menu Online prior to the Evening! - I will just have to come back for it. What a Fun Chilled Lively Atmosphere was Had throughout the Evening! - The Female Head Restauranteur was Singing to Whitney's, I Want to Dance with Somebody, Whopping and All Cheerful and Happy 😊. Actually the Restaurant has Live Singers and Tribute Acts on Certain Thursdays and Fridays throughout each Month with the highlight being an Elvis Tribute Act coming up soon! So the Fun Chilled Family Relaxed Atmosphere is Part of the Ethos of Restaurant which is Nice. Very Homely 🙂. ....... And So What an Evening!! 🤣. An Enjoyable "Low Key" Affair. I Must Go Back for More especially as I'm Local. PS: Grandad Celebrated his 90th Birthday here as part of his Celebrations and he was Treated to Birthday Singing too. 🎂 - 🇮🇹 🍴 --- Normally Bring Your Own Birthday Cake is Not Allowed but they made an Exception as the Cake was already handed in without the Head Restauranteur realising ---

Ignore the occasional mediocre reviews!!! This place is my go to!! Even though I haven't been there for 9 years (I used to go there for every date night/wedding anniversary dinner because I've never had a dissatisfied time/meal) until last night, it's the one place I always remember and recommend hence why I went with my family and very critical Italian father with absolute assurance that he would love it, and he did. The food is great! Taste fresh and not frozen like some people have commented. For those that say it's not, they're being over picky and are trying to find fault. The price is very reasonable compared to many other restaurants. The atmosphere is fantastic! Malou made my night and she deserves a medal for bringing a smile to everyone's faces. Her service, friendliness and welcoming approach is something every restaurant needs. If the service is slightly slow on the occasion that you go, take it with a pinch of salt and realise that they are busy (for a reason....they are popular). Chill, have another drink and a good time, that's what going out to dinner is all about. If you haven't been here before, I highly recommend it!!! FYI, I have no connection to anyone in this restaurant, I just believe they deserve the praise.

The meal we had was very nice & the service was very welcoming. It was quite dark in the restaurant & my friend had to use the torch on her phone to be able to see the vast menu! The music was also loud, so to have a conversation was quite difficult but we still had a lovely evening.

Ordered 2 pizza and garlic roll. OMG it was all amazing. The chicken tikka pizza was fully packed and sensational. The spicy meat pizza was divine along with the garlic rolls A lovely touch was the little pot of garlic butter with fresh garlic and the thank you for ordering note that came with the order. Will definitely be ordering again.
