I was with my boyfriend Friday evening there and I was very surprised with everything. The food was fantastic the staff was fantastic and we really love it. They are a few Italian restaurants around the area but this is the best for me. I will definitely go there again soon.

I would give this a 5 star ranking mainly because we were hungry and couldn’t find any restaurant around the neighbourhood. Found this place and went in. I was surprised by the quality of food served. Delicious indeed and really top notch! Would come back in the future.

Excellent food every time and the staff are impeccably kind and a joy to chat to despite how busy they get. The food is freshly made and you can taste it, it's truly a favourite of mine and my partner. We take all our good friends here as an easy no brainer for good vibes and incredibly good food - it's our only Italian staple because no other Tuscan Italians do it as good as Il Toscano! A true gem in Wapping and East London! Jorge is truly a delight during every visit!

The Town of Ramsgate is a cosy community pub. I had the pleasure of visiting upon the invitation of some friends for the Monday night quiz. The quiz (8pm til around 10pm) was well-run, featured a host of regulars (so I’m told) and there were pens and desk lamps provided, as well as the added bonus of freshly made chips during the interval, which was a nice touch. In terms of food , although I did not partake, it looked to be solid pub grub in decent portions. Drinks wise there were a variety of ales with an emphasis on cask (eg. Young’s, Doom bar, Harvey’s). For those wanting a clear head during the quiz, there were some decent bottled non alcoholic options (eg. Ghost Ship 0.5%, Birra Moretti 0%, Becks blue etc) but unfortunately none on draught. Hoping to return during daylight to check out the historic pub garden, which I’m told looks out onto the river.

This 16th century pub is a real delight. It is in a great location overlooking the river and has a beer garden with great views. Being a hot day I sat inside and ordered a reasonably priced Amstel (£6). They have 4 cask beers and a good selection of spirits. The bar service was excellent. The interior is long and narrow and has plenty of seating. They do serve food. I only had time for one beer but will definitely be returning.

Nice old pub with lots of history, very friendly and plenty of drink options. I'd definitely recommend it, and I hope to visit again so I can sit outside by the river

Nice pub for a late afternoon drink. Small but good. Plenty of History e.g. Hanging Judge Jeffries if that doesn't show hugely here. Really liked the small beer garden facing onto the water; great feature. Had recently eaten, so can't comment on the food.

Great little pub with stacks of history. Cosy but the atmosphere is amazing 🤩 great food, friendly welcoming staff. Views of the Thames from the balcony, worth a visit if you’re in the area. 🏴‍☠️

Please bring back the Caesar salad, it was just amazing and duck croquettes. Love this pub, staff are nice, the food is so good. I come here all the time. Wish it was slightly bigger with more seats inside, but they obviously can’t do anything about it.

Bottom line: definitely go to this place for an authentic British pub experience. Reservations a couple days ahead of time are a good idea. There is very limited walk-in seating and it is very cramped. It is a couple short blocks from the Rotherhithe overground station. We were lucky to get a small table as a walk-in. We started with drinks - a Guinness for me and a Mayflower Scurvy Ale for my companion. The Guinness is well known, and the ale was just what you want from a local ale. For dinner I had the traditional steak pie and she had a seared tuna. Both were exceptional. For dessert we split the house specially of a Sticky Toffee Pudding which is sweet enough to trigger a room full of diabetic comas, but very delicious! The total bill including drinks and dessert was £66, and for the food, service and atmosphere I consider that a bargain. Will definitely go back!

My favorite pub I visited in London. It’s incredibly cozy and the staff is great. Plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the Thames and the inside is quintessential English pub vibes.

Environment was really nice. Entire restaurant was so photogenic. Food was nice and got the food so early 🙏 after having food i sat outside to have my dessert. The dessert was freshly made. When we arrived the service was amazing! And the staff were so attentive. We were sat quickly and attended to! The food was incredible, not just to look at. It was so delicious!! Would highly recommend!! We had 3 courses and cocktails and it was simply fab!!

Coco Grill & Lounge is truly a hidden gem! I visited yesterday and was absolutely blown away by the experience. Every dish was a masterpiece – incredibly fresh, bursting with flavour, and presented beautifully. The taste of each course was simply divine, leaving me in awe of the culinary skills on display. If they don’t already have a Michelin star, they undoubtedly deserve one! The service was impeccable; the staff were attentive, professional, and made sure every need was met with a smile. The restaurant’s design is another highlight – the interior is breathtaking, with every detail meticulously thought out to create a luxurious and inviting atmosphere. This was not just a meal but an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return again and again. Coco Grill & Lounge has truly set the standard for excellence. We had an absolutely wonderful evening. There’s nothing I could fault. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, everything was 10/10! The black cod was definitely the highlight of the night. The softest fish I’ve ever had that completely melts in your mouth. The coco mixed grill was brilliant and so were all the starters. The calamari definitely stood out and we couldn’t stop eating it! The service is absolutely spot on and the staff were extremely efficient in clearing away tables. They were all very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is beautiful with views of the tower bridge. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the atmosphere was brilliant. Cannot fault a thing! They are also fully Halal with no alcohol on site which is amazing 🤩

Amber is a standout in Middle Eastern dining—definitely not your typical spot! As someone familiar with countless Middle Eastern restaurants, I was genuinely impressed by the modern twist they bring to traditional dishes. The atmosphere is stylish and contemporary, which reflects in the beautifully balanced menu. The freshness of the ingredients shines through in every bite. We tried the meatballs with yogurt, which were delicious, but the star of the meal was the pita lamb shoulder sandwich. The lamb was incredibly tender, and the pita itself was probably the best I’ve ever had. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Amber and can’t wait to return to explore more of their innovative dishes! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fresh take on Middle Eastern cuisine.

My friend and I were on the hunt for a nice spot to catch up, and since she’s vegetarian, we figured Amber would be a great choice—and it totally was! Even though we showed up 30 minutes early (classic us), the team greeted us warmly and got us seated right away. The vibe of the place? So cozy. Loved the wooden furniture, plants everywhere, and the open kitchen giving off all the right energy. It was a long-overdue catch-up session, so shoutout to the team for being super patient with us as we took our sweet time to order. We kicked things off with a great bottle of wine and ordered a bunch of dishes to share. One thing we loved was how the food arrived as it was ready—none of that overwhelming table-juggling. It gave us space to enjoy each dish properly. Speaking of food, we tried the bread basket, hummus gnocchi, crawling flower, torched sea bream, prawns in garlic oil, grilled courgettes, and smoked potatoes. Every single thing was chef’s kiss delicious. The service? Absolutely top-notch. They really made it the perfect girls’ night out. Highly recommend Amber—it’s a gem!

We had a fantastic meal at Amber. All the dishes were very good. The burnt butter was a favourite as many comments mention. But I think the prawns are an even superior dish. The flavour of the oil with the bits of prawn shell and spice are incredible. We loved the dish so much that we ordered a second serving. The cauliflower was another excellent dish and we also ordered another serving of it. Lamb and potatoes were very tasty. We were not impressed by the broccoli and cauliflower heads. It was the least favourite dish of the meal. It was bland. Desserts were another hit with the pumpkin sead ice cream taking the crown. Such an unusual and unexpected flavour. Loved the flavour but also the extremely rich and creamy texture. Loved it. The service was outstanding. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and could explain the dishes in detail. I extremely appreciated the honesty when talking about dishes and mentioning what was good or not in their opinion.

Great atmosphere in an old warehouse building which oozes with charm and period features (including the Pizza Express oven left by the previous occupants, and put to far better use). Great choice of beers, good service and as mentioned, banging pizzas, including the 20” beast - exceptional value.

Popped in on the off chance of grabbing some lunch. We wanted GF pizza, Guinness and somewhere that allowed dogs. A yes for all three ! Really friendly staff , great pizza and a very relaxed atmosphere.

Had a lovely visit on a quiet Saturday afternoon! Really friendly staff who went above and beyond. Impressed by gluten-free pizzas too - appreciated by some of our party. I had the margarita pizza and it was lovely. Dog friendly too ❤️ New local for me!

Lovely area, down by the Tower of London, slightly hidden away. Plenty of eating and drinking to be had, and lots of photo opportunities of boats, sculptures, and views as well.

Gorgeous little getaway and hidden gem in London. Lots of great restaurants and cafes to visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner while taking in the views.

Boats of all types and sizes, Restaurants, pubs, seating areas around the marina, private housing Currently The Spanish Galleon is there. Well worth a visit, a floating museum. Easy to get there on Public transport

St. Katharine Docks is a beautiful location surrounded by moored Thames Barge and yachts, with a variety of restaurants to choose from. I highly recommend visiting the marina if you happen to be in the area, as Tower Bridge isn't the only noteworthy area nearby. It is hidden behind the Tower Hotel and is a perfect place to walk and relax while having lunch or dinner in the nearby restaurant. Occasionally, special boats come and go, like the Spanish Galleon Andalusia, which has finally docked in London and is staying for a few weeks.

Veal main , oysters and octopus starters with two tonics and two glasses of wine 161£ Service was amazing from them , and they were very thoughtful constantly checking on us throughout the meal , food was amazing no faults at all. Old fashioned inside - think they could improve there decor but other than that a fantastic restaurant on the river which I will be returning too

Exceptional service! Stopped by for lunch after the gym, and the food just keeps getting better every time. We didn’t have any alcoholic drinks, just water, and the cost was around £85 per person—an excellent value for the incredible service and outstanding food. Highly recommend it—the food was absolutely out of this world! Dover sole - is my recommendation Managed to squeeze us in without a Booking, but was once my local for years Thank you

Lovely meal at Smiths with colleagues, following a recommendation. Nobody had any complaints, food was tasty, well presented and excellent value. Great wine list too. Pics are of my choices - roast turkey (I know, sacrilege in a fish restaurant, but you know, christmas!) and the creme brulee which was AMAZING. VERY full tummies all round. Excellent service (shout out to our waiter Alex who did an excellent job) and thanks to the patient front of house staff and others who always work incredibly hard in December in particular. Will definitely be returning!

Great atmosphere and service. Note it is fine dining restaurant meaning that portions are not huge and I would say it is more for couples or small groups of people. The best meal was ceviche and tartar and my favourite cheesecake with mango 🤩. We were not impressed by tacos and cactus tempura. Would not recommend cocktails here better to go with wine or beer. They also charge service charge 13.5%. Overall not bad, fresh ingredients and good presentation of food however their cocktails could definitely improve as we tried quite few and none of them we liked.

We had an amazing dinner at Chayote with a group of 12, and it was fantastic! The ambience was cosy and stylish, perfect for our gathering. The food was outstanding, featuring a fusion of Mexican, Peruvian, and Spanish flavours. We even tried cactus, which was a unique and delicious experience. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasty. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making sure we all had a great time and helping with recommendations. The wine selection was excellent too, perfectly matching our meals. Overall, Chayote provided a wonderful dining experience that we'll definitely remember. Highly recommend!

Having done some research we settled on Chayote. We love Mexican food and this did not disappoint. The ceviche sea bass and trout were lush, great crab, beef, mushroom, hake tacos! We could not fault the food. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive and we got a great wine recommendation. Certainly recommend. Well done team.

We had a late lunch here and absolutely loved the experience! From the oysters, to the scallops, the squid and the blue cheese ice cream, the food and service was amazing. Matthew provided professional, attentive but non-obtrusive service. He suggested the Portuguese wine and elevated the experience! A must try when in the area!

Amazing experience, would highly recommend, especially for a special occasion. Beautiful location, you can kind of sea the sunset too, perfect for a summer dinner. Great food and very friendly staff. The cod cheek carbonara was the highlight! Starters slightly too small.

Special thanks to the manager — her knowledge of wines is impressive, and his recommendations perfectly complemented our meal.
