We had the 8 course tasting menu. Amazing food! Great service! I didn't find the dessert dishes impressive but my husband enjoyed them. Loved the surprise birthday cake - it's really nice. It tasted better than the desserts on the menu.

Da Terra A New Bar , a New Kitchen and New dishes on the menu all made for another amazing dining experience at Da Terra. We were given a warm welcome on arrival before being escorted into to the bar which is now where your lunch / dinner will begin. Here you can relax with a cocktail or glass of champagne while you enjoy some delicious Snacks and a chat with the team. Then you’ll be taken across into the refurbished dining room and see the new kitchen. We took our seats at our customary Table 10 and waited for the festivities to begin. First it was a chat with top sommelier Maria to discuss our wine preference. Now it was time for the New first course and stunning it was to. The Hamachi Pumpkin / Jackfruit/ Tucupi was absolutely delicious. This was followed by the The Quail , Tortellini in Brodo / Black Truffle , Sourdough , The Moqueca before the arrival of the amazing New main course. The British Wagyu Beef , Cep / Cavolo Nero / Lobster Rice personally I thought it was the stand out dish of the day. Next to come was the Romeo and Juliette (cheese course) , the Baba before finishing with the New dessert of Fig , Sheep Yogurt / Sagu / Oxalis. We finished with coffee and petit fours to bring to and end a fabulous afternoon. The food was stunning , the wine pairings were amazing and the service was first class. The New Bar is a great addition and a wonderful place to enjoy an aperitif or digestive. The New kitchen looks fabulous and you now get an excellent view of the whole team at work. Rafael , Charlie and the team have continually been pushing forward every year in the pursuit of absolute perfection and personally something which I think is not far away. Had an amazing dinner with work colleagues while on a business trip. The tasting menu was had by all and the group had a mix of normal wine pairings, the premium wine pairings and the mixed alcoholic and non-alcoholic pairings. Service was impeccable as was the food. The evening was a journey into the heart and mind of Chef Cagali! Each course had a story to go with it that added to the experience. The group enjoyed the dinner so much that one of us came back during their honeymoon trip. I will look for reservations when business brings me back to London for sure. I visited Dishoom with friends for a brunch for a friend's birthday. The food and service was excellent. All the staff were friendly, wished my friend Happy Birthday throughout our stay, and were extremely courteous. We all enjoyed the meal and the birthday treat we shared on Dishoom. Half eaten before, we even recommended taking a photo. 😋 I would highly recommend Dishoom Shoreditch to others. Thank you!!

I have had a problem with Indian food in the recent years. I was missing a reference point, great food wholeheartedly enjoyed. Worth remembering for the future to compare this to other places. Finally I found that place and it was Dishoom  Shoreditch. Amazing food, full of flavors and surprises, food where you think that you order too much of and then it turns out that it is so good that you have to finish it no matter what. Be prepared for a long wait for a table, but it is worth doing it. The wait time is sweetened - you wait at a bar serving very good  drinks. Once you are seated the food arrives quickly and is amazingly good. So for now I got my reference point for Indian food. Thanks Dashoom.

I felt so special here! Came for dinner and breakfast and I had an amazing time each visit. The staff is insanely personable & they’re always willing to help you better understand the menu. This place is worth all the hype it gets, I’ll definitely be back the next time I visit the UK.

randomly came to this restaurant since it was around the block from my hotel and i was very impressed. the restaurant was very chic and modern. the food was amazing. i ordered the garlic pizza, caesar salad, and the spicy salami pizza and everything was delicious. i would definitely go back for more! this place deserves 10 stars!

This morning, a friend and I visited the Fatto a Mano pizzeria in Bethnal Green, London. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, who made the environment welcoming and friendly. The pizza was outstanding, with a fluffy base and fresh ingredients that brought out the authentic flavors of the Neapolitan tradition. The atmosphere of the restaurant, located in the railroad arches of Paradise Row, added a unique touch to the dining experience. I highly recommend Fatto a Mano for those seeking quality pizza accompanied by friendly service. 

The perfect pizzeria - atmosphere, warm hospitality, great beers from independent breweries. Can taste the difference with Fatto’s ingredients and their dough. Margherita fantastic. Pizza special Quattro Formaggi x Neal’s Yard Dairy was indeed very special, beautifully balanced.

We were staying nearby and uncertain where to eat so had not made any prior reservations. We used the Open Table app & luckilly were able to book a table within 15 minutes. It was mid-week so probably why there was capacity. This restaurant is within one of the old railway arches in Paradise Row. They serve Neopolitan pizzas which have very light, bubbly crusts. Good range of traditional pizzas plus the usual Make your Own options. We shared 2 pizzas, both white sauce based, rather than tomato. SALSICCIA E FRIARIELLI - one with Italian fennel sausage, brocolli & cheese. Then PESTO, PEPPERS & POTATO - with pesto, roasted peppers & roasted potatoes. We ordered sides of rosemary chips & garlic mayo dip. All were really nice & service was really fast. When we visited there was a large Xmas party in there so quite noisy. Also, you hear the trains going over quite often but this does not detract from enjoying the food. They have a heated, undercover seating area outside too.

A neighborhood gem for Shoreditch, on Bethnal Green Road. It has a few popular Bengali street food items, like fuchka and katirolls (which were very nice). They also have biryani (though this wasn't quite what I was looking for). Well decorated and clean. It wasn't too busy when we went on a Monday early evening, which was nice.

If you want a unique restaurant, with the perfect ambience, this is the place to come. Food was absolutely delicious, every dish was taste perfect, very unique taste like never before. Service was incredible.

While exploring the vibrant streets of Shoreditch, I discovered a charming eatery that immediately caught my attention with its glowing reviews. Intrigued, I decided to sample a few of their offerings: the chicken katti roll (£6.50), a flatbread generously stuffed with tender chicken, their signature charista chai, and the Fuchka (£6.50), a house specialty of hollow puris filled with spiced mashed potato and chickpeas, topped with shredded egg and accompanied by tangy tamarind water. From the moment I stepped inside, the decor set the tone for a memorable experience. The space is thoughtfully adorned with chai-inspired posters and poems, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. But it was the food that truly stole the show. The chai was a standout—perfectly spiced, with just the right hint of cardamom, easily one of the best I’ve had. The chicken katti roll was equally impressive, a delightful balance of flavors that left me eager for more. While the Fuchka didn’t quite meet my expectations—perhaps more a matter of personal taste—it was a hit with my dining companion, proving its popularity among regulars. Would I return? Without a doubt. The chai and katti roll are exceptional, and this place is one I’ll happily revisit. A hidden gem in Shoreditch, offering some of the best comfort food I’ve experienced in the area.

- short menu (spring) £125pp this truly was a culinary experience for both the eyes and the tastebuds especially with their (non-alc) drinks pairing; i also adored the intimate and relaxed atmosphere which made it even more special! there were 11 ‘courses’ in total and most of them were fish-focused which was perfect for me; highlights include the scallop, mackerel tart and poached pollock that came with ‘squid’ noodles which was unique and fun. texture-wise, the mains were soup and stew-like so not the most diverse and there was an emphasis on natural flavours from vegetables and herbs etc. which is more delicate and subtle compared to food i usually eat but still tasty! instead of a cheese course, they had a sheep milk’s sorbet and i liked the contrast in textures from the creamy sorbet and the crunchy oat crumb but the dairy flavour was too strong for me. the other desserts, forced rhubarb and canele, were much more up my street and even brought out with a candle which ended the meal on a literal sweet note ❤️

As its name described, it’s like a project that the chief exploring. Very nice service and nice seating arrangement, well paced between dishes. Great value for the package.

Sensational meal. The creativeness behind how they use all parts of their ingredients is exceptional. Plus the fact they do an excellent non alcoholic pairing to the meals and it’s actually something they’ve put effort into is fantastic. Highly recommend and will be back once the menu changes over.

I was visiting from California and decided to try to Nigerian food for my birthday. What an amazing experience. The owners were kind, attentive and helpful in navigating the menu. The food was outstanding. I can’t give this place enough stars.

Portions are pretty big. The two of us ordered two mains and got so full 🤤 Jollof rice was AMAZING. We also had the fisherman soup which for us tasted good but it is very unique so if you’re not too adventurous you might find it a bit too fishy. The owner is so passionate about the restaurant and we feel so welcomed! Will def be back to try other dishes!

Wow! I'm full and yet I want to eat even more! The food is so nice! What a lovely cosy place to tuck into some incredibly well made Nigerian cuisine. The chef is amazing and the manager's table-side manner is excellent. Just like the restaurant's slogan, we dined royally We will definitely return with more friends 🧡

Probably the best Nigerian food in London. I have been to a lot of well known Nigerian restaurant chains around London. We ordered Bitter Leaf Soup with Mixed Meat + Pounded Yam, and Native Soup with Dried Fish, Snail + Pounded Yam. They were flavoursome, the mixed meat was cooked just right and not tough and chewy like a lot of places around London.

It was such a special and memorable meal!! Everything was truly “wow.” Unpretentious and incredibly well done. Even the simple green salad was incredibly inspiring with its melange of flavors. A space we’d love to revisit. Wonderful for groups as it’s very airy and spacious. As an out of towner, extremely happy to add this to a repertoire of must-go places in London.

An absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. Vassilis, the ever-charming host, went above and beyond with his suggestions, each one spot on. The food was exquisite. We're planning our next visit.

Went here for a wedding and the food (and cocktails), and atmosphere were absolutely sensational. Can’t wait to go again for another reason! Staff lovely too!

We have amazing time.. The food was absolutely delicious (Peruvian chicken was life changing).. the chips were amazing.. everyone was passionate.. a great choice!!!

So we came across this place by accident as we were looking for a place to eat at Bethnal green. It was close to the station and it was not officially opened when we went. The staff were very nice and we were able to get a meal there. There is plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs and the place had a nicely decorated interior. We ordered and the food came out timely. They started you off with papadoms but the only thing that sucked was that if you requested more then you were charged. The food arrived nice and hot and my two companions enjoyed their meal. My food was flavorful but a few pieces were a little on the dry side as some of chicken was a little overcooked, Which was a shame as it was nicely spiced. There was enough to eat and certainly bang for your buck. There was no alcohol so be aware of that!! The price of food items were very good, not overpriced and as stated you get ample portions.I would eat here again as they have a vast menu with many dishes that I would love to try. There also have a very good selection if you are vegetarian. Also our serving staff were really nice and made us feel very welcomed I must say, they even checked to see if we were warm enough as it was a cold evening, but the restaurant was nice and warm. There seem to be some street parking nearby and they can certainly cater for large groups.Overall a must try place

Food was good however the portions were small for the price that you’re paying. They mixed up our booking but quickly accommodated us. Service was really good and staff would check on you regularly. I would recommend they work on a kids menu because £9 for nuggets and chips is quite steep. Overall would recommend and would come back.

In summary, good service and the food was decent. The decor is nice and the restaurant is huge, on this occasion though it was just our group who were dining which meant it was an intimate dining experience. We went on a particularly hot day, they do not have air conditioning nevertheless the waiting staff did place a portable fan near us which helped a little bit. In relation to the food, the starters were passable however I found that the chicken wing starter was slightly undercooked. The mains were very good with decent portion size and the taste w and service was friendly and professional. Big shout out to the waiting staff especially the gentleman who was serving us. The prices are okay and as is the sign of the times, is on a slightly expensive side, a plate of loaded chips was £9! To summarise, the food was good and the service was also good.

Was there for the winemakers dinner last night and had such a nice evening. Food was delicious, the mushroom & snail vol-au-vent was amazing. Was so nice to be able to chat with Camille about her wine, the 2016 was tasting so good! Our waitress Lauren was great too, very knowledgeable and personable. Look forward to returning soon hopefully!

Best atmosphere, food is excellent and staff and service was brilliant all night. Lovely fresh starter cured sea bass , best duck dish ever and the most perfect dessert and incredibly wonderful- do -not-miss baked Alaska with wonderful recommendations on wine.

Really lovely restaurant with interesting and well executed dishes. The quail was amazing and flavourful. We also had the venison ragu and brill which I forgot to take pics of because was too busy eating 😅 probably a little on the pricey side but was worth it.

Food was absolutely lovely, such a unique variety of vegan food and I loved the focus on mushrooms 😍 great sized portions too! The new dessert was probably the best vegan dessert I've ever had, can't wait to see what's next! Cocktails were also lovely, especially the hot-tails! Highly recommend the amaretto and cacao one, like a boozy hot chocolate. Also the place does pickle-backs... That's reason enough to go 😜

This is a plant-based wonderland in the heart of hip East London! Cool decor with a mishmash of upcycled treasures gifted by the local community. Fast, friendly and flexible service when we asked for adaptations to encourage fussy kid eaters to eat greens. The menu is packed with mushroom varieties. Plenty of drinks too, both boozy and booze-free. I'll be back for the 'hottails' when I feel the winter chill. The flavours were so sublime and filling that despite the call of the dessert menu, I was too stuffed. So I'll be back for those too!

Fantastic place! Drinks are 10/10 perfect, new, innovative, interesting and unusual. Food was fantastic, great spin on vegan kitchen, delicious and full of flavor! The interior is very nice as well, staff vas very friendly and always smiling and helpful. Defiently “must go to” place!

We absolutely loved the food and experience dining at this funky vegan place. Hospitality was top notch. We went to have a small dinner date for our first wedding anniversary and the staff especially Niraj, also the owners of the place were so interactive and welcoming, food was quite flavorful and ambience was giving a cozy yet peculiar rustic vibes. Would highly recommend to try out multiple yum vegan options here! Bet you gonna love it! Icing on the cake was the added complimentary token bourbon shots on the house for our special dinner date! We would love to give another visit soon.
